Karla was an easy host to work with, even with having to use Google Translate. 2 bikes were said to be available for use, but each time we wanted to use them, they were gone. So they must be shared with another unit. I loved the little foot bath sink in the bathroom to freshen my feet after a long day of walking or hiking Monte Baldo. Having to bring cash for the cash only payment of the tax was annoying, but it's not exclusive to this property, so it's not a negative on it. The road/driveway up to the unit is a bit of a challenge, especially coming from the south, or meeting another car. So be prepared.There is no living room to recline and relax, just the beds or deck. Also, no washing machine.Walking access to the lake is super easy once you get to the main road, though the path off the road is a bit obscure the first time you look for it. When you get down to the lake, taking a right goes to Malcesine, which is fantastic, but taking a left brings you to some great views, wonderful restaurants, less people, (rock) beaches (bring water shoes!), SUP and kayak rentals, sunchairs, serenity, and a great walk/bike path. Easy walk to the cable car base of Monte Baldo. Short boat ride to Limone, and a relatively short drive to Varone Waterfall Cave Park. All wonderful places to go.It's a wonderful place and a great location! Book it!
