My lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom ground floor apartment is in Puerto Marina, a popular complex in the centre of Los Alcazares. Its amazing location puts it central to the beaches, shops, bars and restaurants and it is perfect for couples, families and small groups alike.
Apartment Description
The apartment has one double bedroom with en suite and two twin bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The apartment also boasts a large outdoor terrace with built in Bar-B-Que and a retractable canopy for shaded relaxation. Air conditioning / heating are included with a metered supply. The apartment has fibre optic broadband and English TV included.
Although the bathrooms are not fully wheelchair accessible, the apartment is served by a ramp from street level making it accessible for persons with limited mobility
Swimming pools, and sunbathing areas
The apartment has a large outdoor terrace that gets both sun and shade throughout the day. There is a built in Bar-b-que for guests use and a retractable canopy for shade.
My apartment is in Puerto Marina which has 3 swimming pools two of which have disabled access. We are situated between two of the pools, turn left from the terrace for pools one and two and right for pool three. Plenty of variety for sunbathing or swimming. We provide a variety of sunloungers for our guests for terrace or pool use, all we ask is that you bring the loungers back from the pool area at the end of the day. Please note that glass in any form is not to be taken to the pool areas.
Living space
The apartment has an open plan living room, dining area and kitchen, perfect for a relaxing vacation. The living room has 2 very comfortable chairs and a large sofa, 6 seat dining table, TV and high speed internet. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need to ensure a comfortable stay including washing machine, coffee maker, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher along with a selection of utensils and tools for the bar-b-que outside
Bedrooms and bathrooms
There are 3 bedrooms in total. One double bedroom with illuminated makeup mirror and en suite shower room and two twin bedrooms sharing the other shower room. All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans, fitted wardrobes and UK usb adaptors and there are two good size digital safes for guests' use in the master bedroom and bedroom 3.
A travel cot is provided for our smallest guests along with a removable side barrier for one of the beds to prevent younger ones falling out.
Apartment Location.
Our apartment is in one of the most popular complexes in the area, gated, secure , private and very conveniently within walking distance for the beach, shops, bars and restaurants which means there is no real need for a car if you prefer. There is even a wheeled shopping cart for the supermarket runs. Lidl, Aldi , Mercadona and Consum supermarkets are a short walk away. The 525 Plaza is a short walk away with a multitude of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.
Our apartment is the perfect location to ensure a wonderful holiday at an attractive price.

Been to this area before and thought we had paid for five star. However the terrace,lounge and kitchen were very good, the second bedroom and bathroom need lots of tlc. We had broken shutter.unworking plug which we had to unscrew to drain water,the two safes not working and the television did not work!!!!!All the extras which we expected in the price. On the plus side it had a lovely private terrace and apart from two storms lovely sunshine !

Great stay
We had a really good stay in this apartment ,very clean, comfortable, and well equipped . The outdoor space is great with lots of sunshine we would happily stay again 😃

Was a great base and location. Excellent communication and great support and help from the property manager. Comfortable and convenient. Pool in March was freezing but as expected. Pool areas were amazing though would love to use them in the summer!! Our only issue was that with 4 of us staying there we couldn’t all get a hot shower in a row before the hot water ran out and person 3 and 4 had a cold shower or had to wait.

Thanks for your kind words Katie, we always try our best to make your stay as good as possible. The water heating issue is sadly a difficult one to solve, the apartments are fitted with relatively small water heaters so a run of showers does tend to strain it a bit. This rarely gives us any issues in the warmer months but I will explore the possibility of installing a larger water heater when I am there later this month.

Wonderful stay
The apartment was lovely. Fantastic location, walking distance to the beach, plenty of restaurants and bars and supermarkets.
Had absolutely everything we could have needed and more. Communication prior to our stay was great, easy check in.
Pools were lovely (and very welcome in the intense heat!), never too busy and always a spot for our sun loungers even as a family of 6.
Couldn't fault our trip in anyway, thanks so much!

Great apartment.
We have stayed at the Puerto Marina complex on a number of occasions it's always clean and tidy. We were very pleased with John and Abi's apartment It had a quiet location with plenty of outside space. Inside was spacious, clean and tastefully furnished with everything you could need for a lovely holiday. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

Fabulous
Superb apartment for family. Spacious and clean with lots of amenities. Great outdoor area with BBQ and close to supermarkets. We will be back.

Lovely apartment in a lovely complex
Really lovely spacious 3 hed apartment in a really well kept, secure and safe complex less than 5 min wqlk to Puerto Marina. Apartment had everything we needed and more. John was so helpful as was Julie the key holder. Would absolutely recommend this apartment to a family. Fabulous pools in the complex which are a perfect base for family holidays. Thanks John for a great stay.

Excellent Appartment
This is the 2nd year we stayed at this appartment and we love it. It’s is a lovely 3 bed appartment & had everything we needed.
Lovely location, close to 3 large pools (with kids pools) and walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and a beautiful beach.
Would highly recommend.

Excellent
Perfect location large terrace and well equipped property. Nice touch with condiments left as saved on buying again.
Very helpful host with putting me in touch with Taxi company and Julie who checked us in. Allowed to check in early and Julie was very nice even got us some shopping for when we arrived.

9 days in a great apartment
Lovely friendly complex with 3 pools, great for families. Great location close to everything you need.
This apartment is spacious, modern, clean, full of all your essentials and fitted with aircon. 3 big bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen, 2 bathrooms, beautiful outdoor space, Can't fault it. We were looked after from booking to leaving. A home from home with better weather.
We are looking forward to returning next year. Thank you for a great stay.

Lovely apartment
Lovely apartment and well equipped. The terrace is fantastic. We had a lovely relaxing family holiday . The complex is lovely, quiet and very secure. Gorgeous pools. Julie was a godsend from arrival to deparure answering any questions we had. Three great supermarkets within a 10 min walk of apartment.

Puerto Marina
Have stayed in the complex many times over the years, but a first in this apt. Outside space terrific. Everything was provided to make our stay as comfortable as a home from home. Only slight downside wld be the air conditioning in the master bedroom was not great and therefore didn’t get the best of sleep. Seemed to work throughout the rest of the apt. If you’re not too fussed about aircon, then I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The same unit ventilates the whole apartment so perhaps the flow needs a bit of a "tweak" I tend to use the ceiling fans more than the aircon so hadn't noticed any issues, sorry. John

John's apartment is very spacious and the large terrace with table and chairs and BBQ is great. Perfect for a family.The apartment is spotlessly clean and well maintained and provides everything you could want.The sofa has obviously done some sterling work over the years, but sadly is no longer as comfortable as it once must have been!The complex is similarly clean and well maintained and very quiet in September when we were there.At John's recommendation we booked Pepe's Taxi for our transfers to and from the airport. He provides a punctual and courteous service at a reasonable price.The apartment is in a great location with supermarkets, bars and restaurants a ten minute walk.On arrival we were met by Julie who handed over the keys and explained everything. She hadn't contacted us until the day before we travelled, which is fine if you know, but we were getting a little bit twitchy by that time!While a car is not necessary, it would be lovely to be able to explore more of the Mar Menor. We ventured out one day (Pepe again) and really enjoyed it.Overall we had a great holiday and can highly recommend John's apartment.

I am a divorcee with a young son who loves spending time in Los Alcazares when our busy lives permit. We currently live in South Wales.

We had stayed in the Puerto Marina development as guests on several previous occasions and chose this apartment for purchase based on it's location, facilities and outside space. It is our vacation home and we are pleased to share it with you.

Although the apartment does not have full wheelchair accessible bathroom facilities, it is on the ground floor with a no step access from the street so is ideal for families and guests with limited mobility. The supermarkets are within easy walking distance and we even have a wheeled shopping cart to help with the shopping. For guests who arrive a little too late for the shops, our keyholder can arrange to purchase some basic items to be in the kitchen ready for your arrival, milk, bread water etc.
