The Gatehouse stands at the entrance to Barton Manor, which nestles cosily at the edge of the historic village of Nyetimber. Set in its own private and gated road, it’s minutes away from Chichester, Goodwood Estate and Southdowns.
It is a comprehensively fitted and beautifully decorated 4/5 bedroomed family holiday home. The Gatehouse has its own private gardens and secure parking. It’s five minutes from the sea and Pagham’s wonderful bay and beaches/wetlands and Nature Reserve. The spacious entrance hall has contemporary stainless-steel glass stairs leading to the first floor and opening onto the sitting room, which has a modern feature fireplace. There is a ground floor double bedroom and opening onto a Jack and Jill bathroom, which is fitted with a free-standing tub bath and white suite. The kitchen is fitted with 'Paula Rosa' quality beech units with 'AEG' integral appliances and a central island. The door opens onto the enclosed rear garden with a large patio area.
On the first floor, the master bedroom has a full range of bespoke walnut bedroom furniture, there is another double bedroom and contemporary family bathroom. The inner hallway leads through to a large double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and a Juliet balcony. It also has a small ‘snug’ which can be used as a fifth bedroom and includes a single bed and small sofa. There is a secure fob activated electric gateway leading to the flint walled front garden and flood lit parking bays, a carport and garage. There is also an overnight slow charge facility for electric cars.
The village of Nyetimber hosts everything you should need or want. Three local pubs, all serving good food, a Tesco’s Express, Spar and Co-op, all of which are walking distance. Not only does The Gatehouse have the beautiful beaches of Pagham on its doorstep, the City of Chichester is just six miles away as is Goodwood Estate and Arundel and Portsmouth are just a few of the local places to visit.
The Gatehouse is decorated to a very high standard using Osborne & Little wallpapers and along with the fairly steep stairs, it isn’t really a child friendly property so we are unable to accommodate children under 12 unless by prior arrangement. It also has a strict ‘No Smoking/Vaping’ policy and unfortunately, we also have a ‘No Pets’ policy.
A security deposit of £500 is requested 2 weeks prior to your stay. This deposit is fully refundable on the day of departure, subject to no damage or breakages.
