A beautiful stone house located in a rural setting with spectacular views of the Barcia Valley. It is situated in the municipality of Carral, in the heart of the Mariñas Coruñesas e Terras do Mandeo Biosphere Reserve, and 2 km from the English Way of St. James.
Ideal for enjoying nature and fresh air, relaxing by the large pool, sharing meals at the barbecue, or strolling through the garden, which spans over 4,000 m². A prime location surrounded by nature with convenient access to the A6 (15 minutes from A Coruña).
The Space
The house features 3 bedrooms with queen-size beds—one of which is a double room with a sofa bed—and two full bathrooms, one with a bathtub and the other with a hydromassage shower.
We also have a guest cottage next to the main house that measures 30 square meters. It includes a 160x200 bed and a 140x200 sofa bed, both in a single open space. It also features a bathroom with a shower and a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary kitchenware. This space is ideal for a couple with two children or several older children or teenagers, allowing them to have their own private space.
Both accommodations offer stunning views of the valley.
In the main house, the large panoramic window in the living room, the fully glass-enclosed main porch—perfect for lunches and dinners—and the 14-meter-long pool, accessible from the living room, are all highlights.
Its location is ideal for traveling by car, as it’s just 3 minutes from the highway connecting to cities such as A Coruña (15 minutes), Santiago de Compostela (45 minutes), and Lugo (50 minutes); explore the rugged, wild beaches perfect for surfing in Arteixo (20 ms) or the coast of Sada (20 ms), where you can enjoy quiet coves, boat trips, and fantastic cuisine.
Whether you plan to make the most of everything the house and its surroundings have to offer—such as horseback riding, hiking trails, viewpoints, and local cuisine (notably the bread and empanada from Carral, which have their own festivals in their honor, and the churrasquerías where you can sample the highly prized Galician veal)—or if you’d like to use your stay to explore Galicia a bit more (the Costa da Morte and Rías Baixas are an hour and a half away), we’re sure that your time at our house will be unforgettable.
Amenities and Common Areas
Just 5 minutes from the house is the village of Carral, where you’ll find all kinds of amenities: supermarkets, bakeries, a pharmacy, a tobacco shop, and a gas station.
The house has ample outdoor parking space for several cars on the property.
