Williams Barn is a former family home, tucked away in a peaceful setting, yet perfectly placed to enjoy everything that makes North Norfolk so special—unspoilt beaches, rolling countryside, and charming towns and villages.

This impressive detached barn is full of character, featuring exposed beams, brickwork, and vaulted ceilings throughout. Offering generous accommodation for up to 10 guests, the property is ideal for larger families or groups. The spacious ground floor provides excellent areas for socialising, with living, dining, and kitchen spaces all thoughtfully laid out.

There are five bedrooms in total, including twol ground floor double bedrooms with en‑suite facilities. Upstairs, off the stuning galleried landing, you'll find a master bedroom with an accessible bathroom and two further twin bedrooms, offering comfortable and flexible sleeping arrangements.

The heart of the home is the stunning, spacious dining kitchen with Aga — a fantastic space for entertaining and gathering together. For quieter moments, the cosy living room, complete with wood burner, is perfect for relaxing after a day out exploring.

Outside, the barn is set within extensive grounds and gardens, providing plenty of space to unwind. A patio area offers the ideal spot for al fresco dining and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Located in the tranquil village of West Beckham, Williams Barn is just a short drive from the elegant Georgian town of Holt (4 miles), as well as the popular seaside towns of Sheringham (4 miles) and Cromer (7 miles), where fresh sea air and coastal walks await.

A welcoming village pub is just a stone's throw away, adding to the convenience of this wonderful location.

Well‑behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, making this a great choice for guests wishing to bring their four‑legged companion—please note we kindly ask that pets are kept off beds and furniture, and that you bring your dog's own bed.
Please not that this property is perfect for a tranquil stay with family and friends, but is not suitable for stag or hen weekends.

This was our third stay at Williams Barn it suits us all as it is so close to the coast and good to have a village pub across the road. House suits all of the family but would like another bath upstairs.

This property is amazing. It was perfect for our stay. The lounge seated everyone comfortably and the kitchen is just stunning and perfect for a social family weekend. The location is amazing and unless you stay at the pub you can't get much closer. The food there is fab by the way.The check in process could not be easier and the welcome basket was lovely. It was so nice the heating was on as well when we arrived.The bedrooms are all a lovely size and there are plenty of bathrooms. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!!

Twixmas stay

Wonderful family home, spacious and warm, clean and well furnished. We stayed in the winter so didn’t use the garden but the outside space looked so inviting too. Beds were adequate and we embraced the creaking floorboards throughout the upstairs as a feature of an older property.

Amazing Stay

We had a great stay at William’s Barn. The facilities were brilliant. The barn is so spacious and has more than enough room for 10 people. The garden is so well kept and is huge, great for dogs. The only thing I would say is the attention to detail with cleaning could have been slightly better, the kitchen cupboards were a little dirty with crumbs in and behind the sofa needed a good hoover.

60th Celebrations

8 of us stayed for 3 nights. The property was very spacious with the kitchen area being the focal point for most of the time there. The aga was very handy too! We were close to Holt, Sheringham and Cromer for daytime walks. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time in West Beckham and Williams barn.

Great property for family week with youngest 7 and oldest 70.Plenty of space ,well furnished and equipped.Very clean.Parking for at 5 cars at least.Only 3 miles from coast.Good food pub 3 mins walk away.Would recommend

Excellent accommodation in rural Norfolk

We have just finished a lovely week at this superb property in West Beckham. It had so much space for our large family with comfortable beds and we just loved the huge kitchen/dinning room. The lounge was great and the log fire made it so cosy in the evenings. Massive garden was also a bonus. The location is rural, but Sheringham and Cromer are very close, and it is a short drive from the coast. Hopefully we will return.

Beautiful barn conversion

We had a wonderful time at William’s barn. Beautifully renovated and decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is very large and warm and a great place to catch up with friends and the garden is perfectly manicured and well maintained. The location was also great, very close to the coast as well as Holt, a lovely Georgian town with interesting shops. The village pub is almost situated opposite the property and serves hearty meals. It really was a gem of a find!

Amazing House

This barn conversion is perfect for a big family. Five comfortable bedrooms (although a little small). There is a bit of a lack of curtains and blinds in the properly so maybe worth packing an eye mask. Also the floorboards are very noisy. The kitchen is incredible though and we had a really lovely week staying there whilst exploring North Norfolk.

Long weekend for family birthday celebration

The barn is set in beautiful grounds which are superbly landscaped. The standard is not matched on the interior but the place is clean and can comfortably cater to 10 people in terms of kitchen and lounge areas. The bedroom and bathroom facilities are lacking, with limited or no wardrobe hanging spaces or mirrors and a bathroom on the mid floor shared by 3 separate bedrooms and no dedicated shower (just a hand held attached to bath that you cannot stand up in due to low ceiling) so 10 guests were sharing 2 master bathrooms in the downstairs bedrooms which was manageable for a weekend but not ideal, especially given the price. Overall we enjoyed the shared spaces very much and the wheatsheaf pub over the road was convenient given the extremely late check in time of 4.30pm! We also found the printed cards on our beds instructing that we strip them and bag up laundry before the strict 10am departure a bit much having come to get away from day to day chores!

Lovely barn conversion with everything you need.

We stayed at Williams Barn for the weekend in august, the house suited our multi generational family perfectly (ages 18months to 86years & 2 dogs). The house has plenty of parking and gorgeous gardens, it’s opposite a very local pub (wouldn’t necessarily recommend for dinner but don’t let that put you off… we are big foodies) but also within 10/15 mins of a number of towns, amenities, and beaches. The house itself has two downstairs bedrooms, both with en-suite, a fantastically cosy lounge with Woodburner, handy utility with wine fridge and washer/dryer, downstairs loo and large kitchen with gorgeous aga (which as expected is off at this time of year). Upstairs there are two smaller bedrooms, one larger bedroom and a bathroom (with a bath only). We would have loved the beds to be slightly bigger only because it’s what we’re used to, a shower upstairs would be handy and some cooking oil supplied would have been fantastic, and it’s first house we have stayed in that we have had to strip our own beds, but this is being really picky and only pointers for improvement if desired.

An amazing barn conversion close to Sheringham

Williams Barn was perfect for our party of 6 adults, one teenager and two children, 4 and 6. The grounds to property are vast and much bigger than is shown in the photographs on the web site. Inside the "barn" there is loads of space, each bedroom is big and so is the lounge. The kitchen is enormous and very well fitted out with lots of glasses, plates etc, cutlery, pots and pans. The only issue we had is that there is an AGA in the kitchen and we never found out how to switch it off and so had to keep opening the windows to let the heat out. We felt guilty for wasting all that oil it was burning all the time. The pub across the road did nice food and good beer too. We spent most days on Sheringham beach and were thankful that we booked a beach hut for the week from the council. It was fairly spartan but was useful for storing all the guff that you need for a beach holiday, Like body boards, beach towels, swimming costumes etc. Sheringham isn't the best beach on the Norfolk coast, but it does have good waves for surfing on body boards, which the kids really enjoyed. We would definitely book Williams Barn again another year.
