A beautiful property, perfect for my daughter’s small wedding reception and a place for both families to come together for a week. Fantastic swimming pool and garden, fabulous surrounding countryside and very peaceful. Lovely comfortable accommodation

Had a wonderful family week in this beautiful property. 3 generations, 14 people. Beautiful old buildings, lovely surroundings and no neighbours. With three separate houses we had plenty of space and privacy but also enjoyed the communal dining spaces. Fabulous pool, great facilities for games and woods for the kids to explore. Hosts were helpful but unobtrusive. We all loved it and hope to come back.

We were three generations including seven children and everyone had a really special time. The gites and all the facilities were perfect for a large family. We all enjoyed the extra large pool and the children had plenty to do on site. We had many delicious outdoor meals and the barbecue was excellent. On arrival we were welcomed by a friendly host and any queries were responded to quickly. We enjoyed many days out including canoeing on the Dordogne River, a day in Brantome, local caves and night markets. All seventeen of us had lunch at a lovely restaurant A l’Ancre de Salut, next to the river in Limeuil, followed by a swim. Overall everything was all we could have wished for. Thank you.

Family fun in the Dordogne - isolation and freedom

A magical spot

You can tell from the photos this is going to be a nice place, but the reality is - it is even better. The space is exceptional. Lots of room for kids and adults alike to enjoy. We’d definitely love to return sometime!

Perfect stay for a large group in the Dordogne

Brilliant hamlet to stay in. You literally have the whole place to yourself. Wonderful fun, great facilities and everything a group (we were 5 families) could need to escape and enjoy a holiday. The hosts were great in their communication and always offered to help. But you shouldn’t need help; the place has everything and it is a lovely part of the world.

Amazing holiday rental

The property and grounds are even more lovely in person than in the photos. Beautifully decorated as well as functional accommodation that allowed for large group of friends and children to enjoy space and time together. The facilities are amazing - with so much to keep everyone entertained. Extremely convenient location - somehow feeling remote and connected at the same time. Wonderful surrounding areas too. Laure was a wonderful host - extremely responsive during the stay. Will look to book again!

A hidden gem

This is a perfect retreat to take your family. It consisted of 3 beautiful old gites of all sizes, a fantastic garden full of shaded areas and chairs and loungers, a wonderful, large swimming pool, a well equipped games room, and plenty of space for all the family well away from the rest of the world. There was so much for the family to do, that we spent most of our time here. However, we also enjoyed visiting Perigueux and having coffee in Vergt, as well as exploring local rivers and water parks. Laurie and Norbert were welcoming and helpful and responded quickly to and problems that we had.

Wonderful private oasis

We had a wonderful fortnight in this amazing property. Three generations of a big family – 14 of us in total. Such a lot of space and everything so easy and comfortable. The house is surrounded by acres of its own land and not at all overlooked or possible to disturb anyone else if you are a noisy family! Despite this it was so close to a big supermarket and a nice town with a market/boulangerie et cetera. Had several day trips out to other local towns and to swim in the river. Overall a wonderful relaxing stay and the hosts were very helpful and generous.

Charming and Wonderful

We stayed as two families, 13 of us, all adults and we couldn’t have asked for a better space. The separate cottages were charming and gave us each our own space. The outside space was amazing and we played plenty of games outside and inside the games room. The pool, fabulous. It was a slice of French heaven and we even organised for a local wine tasting in the garden of the property. It truly was beautiful and so lovely to have all that open space and no neighbours. Laure and Norbert were delightful and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend.

A super stay at a marvelous location.

The 3 houses are authentic though super comfortable and forseen with all modern comfort! The domain is huge, hidden away, silent, full of wildlife but also close to the amities of the village. The full environment of Perigord is easily accessible from this location with all his beautyfull history and nature. Special thanks for the owners Laure and Norbert, they welcomed us and were ALWAYS available for help and advise. The communication couldn’t be better. The pool was huge and suitable for small and great, young and old due to the big narrow platforms. If you want to have a quite moment away from the group, there are plenty of spots to make a nice walk on the property in tranquility! A 4 star stay worthy!!

Perfect place!

We vacation every year with a group of friends ranging from 13 to 18 people. In recent years, some children also go with us. This was by far the best vacation and that was mainly because of this top notch accommodation. There is everything from a large “game room,” a soccer field, tennis/full baseball field and a gigantic pool. You can sit in the sun and in the shade. The spaces are huge; both inside and outside. We were also received very hospitably and it was no problem at all that we arrived two hours early. The only downside: there were not enough wine glasses, but we bought and left them so there are plenty now. In other words, do not hesitate and book this accodomation. You will not regret it.

Fantastic

We have just stayed in a fantastic holiday property. The homes were large and well equipped. The pool was superb. The grounds vast. It was close enough to village life and far enough to be completely quiet. We have had a wonderful time. The children really enjoyed themselves, they made as much noise as they wanted and did not disturb the adults. The adults did not have to worry about the children and we all relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Laure and Norbert were wonderful hosts, they called several times and just stated that we should contact them if we needed anything. A lovely couple, who's recommendations of places to visit were excellent. We would return tomorrow if possible! I thoroughly recommend this property. Thankyou

The perfect place for an extended family holiday. My husband, our three children and their families, 14 of us in total, have just spent a wonderful holiday at lLe Hameau. The area is fantastic for exploring the Dordogne but above all the accommodation and the setting are perfect for a large group holiday. The three houses are very well equipped, comfortable and provide space and privacy but the communal dining and kitchen areas in the Red Gite allow for the entire group to eat and socialise together. The massive swimming pool is amazing and we spent many hours enjoying swimming and having fun there. The games room has plenty of activities to please all ages. The fact that we had the whole place to ourselves was a real plus. Our hosts were superb, discrete but always available to help. Communication with them was excellent, prompt and we were made to feel very welcome.We also had a special meal for our wedding anniversary prepared by Céline which was arranged through our hosts. The meal was of high quality and great value for money. We have no hesitation in recommending this venue as it provided everything you could want. Thank you to Yseult, Laure and Norbert

We have just returned from a 2 wk stay at this stunning hamlet.Driving up to ‘Nadalie’ takes your breath away, its beautiful. The buildings have been beautifully converted to a small village with white shingle, beautiful flowers & shrubs, grape vines & fruit trees, seating nooks everywhere to enjoy the surroundings, plenty of chairs & sun beds. The Gites are perfectly spaced so that you can get away and have some alone time if needed, or gather in the main house or games room, with a lovely outdoor seating area. Perfect for our dogs, as they could run free without any worry.Sadly the fabulous pool is not heated, so we couldn’t use it often as it was just too cold, we had a few days of sunshine but also had rain. But it is the end of the season!Overall, we had a fabulous time at Nadalie, the owners Laure & her daughter Yseult were very attentive answering messages & sorting out any problems immediately, they very kindly gave my mum a gift for her birthday too.Whilst they do provide towels in the gites, they are a little tired and could do with replacing, a couple of big fluffy ones would be nice & make it a little more luxurious. We would definitely come back to the beautiful place, but maybe when it’s a bit warmer! Thankyou

Le Hameau - Wow - what a stunning place. Perfect for a surprise 60th Birthday! Communication has been spot on. Yseult a lovely, fantastic host and very accomodating! Each of the 3 gites were fab. Spacious, clean, comfortable and full of character. We had the BEST time - it just went sooo quickly! The Pool - brilliant (just to note, you need to bring pool/beach towels for this). The games room and outdoor areas - such a bonus. We will definitely re-visit - Le Hameau is excellent all round! Vergt - 10 mins down the road, great supermarket . . . Sanilhac 15 mins away - bigger supermarket and other shops. Périgueux - definitely worth a visit - it's about 30 minute drive. By far though, Bergerac was my fave town - 40 minute drive but it's stunning - truly one of my new favourite places in France . . . outside Le Hameau! We were very lucky with the weather - super sunny and hot all week. Thanks for arranging this too Yseult!! There are plenty of shaded areas should it be too hot!We had a very small issue with the plumbing in one of the kitchens, but within half an hour, the team were on the case! These things happen of course, but the response was swift and sorted as a priority! Thank you Yseult for being such a FAB host. I cannot recommend Le Hameau highly enough! Cant wait to re-visit . . .

Voortreffelijke locatie. Schitterende plek en sfeervol ingerichte huizen. Wij verbleven hier met 14 vrienden een week in oktober. We hadden heel veel geluk met het weer en konden buiten eten, petanque spelen etc.Zwembad is ook getrotseerd ondanks dat deze niet verwarmd is.Het terrein is echt prachtig met genoeg stoelen, tafels en ligbedden voor een grote groep.De speelschuur is fantastisch voor een potje tafel- tennis of voetbal.Hoogtepunt is de Ofyr! Je moet wel een beetje verstand hebben van eten maken met dit apparaat maar dan heb je ook wat.Kortom, een heerlijke plek om te verblijven.

Tout est parfait et de très bon goût. Toute notre famille a pu profiter des installations qui sont vraiment complètes. A conseiller pour de grands groupes. Nous étions 17!

Es war eine tolle Zeit in Vergt, nicht nur die Unterkunft war toll sondern auch das Wetter hat mitgespielt. Die Unterkunft eignet sich hervorragend für große Familien- oder Gruppenreisen. Es hat allen meinen Gästen sehr gut gefallen, savoir vivre par excellence. Danke
