It is a 16th-century tower in the Spanish style, now converted into a villa, set back from the road and populated areas, nestled in the beautiful natural landscape of the Tuscan Maremma and overlooking the sea.
This area, still quite unspoiled and blessed with a very mild climate, is characterized by hills, pine forests, cultivated fields, and pastures, along with long sandy beaches and cliffs.
The Torre delle Cannelle was built around 1565 to defend the territory against Saracen invasions. In the 20th century, the tower was converted into a private residence. Today, it is a unique, fully restored property where you can enjoy a wonderful vacation immersed in the unspoiled nature of the Maremma Natural Park.
From the tower, which overlooks the cliffs below, you can enjoy a splendid view of the sea, the Argentario coast, the island of Giglio, and the Montecristo coast of Elba. On the various terraces (covering 190 m²) or in the garden—all with ocean views—guests can sunbathe, relax, and enjoy the company of good friends with a glass of wine at sunset. A private path leads down to the sea.
