We stayed for one month in September 2026. Property description and photos were accurate. Host was very responsive to inquiries. Good views from the balcony, which was also very spacious. Flat was well provisioned. Great location near transport center with connections to anywhere in London. Only negative was lack of storage space because this is the host's home and many storage areas containing his personal belongings were locked, which was disclosed in the listing.

Paul is an excellent host. He provided detailed information about the apartment, travel around the city, and many recommendations. He was in contact with us during our stay and went above and beyond hosting us! Thank you Paul. The location is central in zone 1 and has busses, subway, and trains a quick 3-4 minute walk away. It was super easy for us to get around the city from this location.

Great location, near to Vauxhall tube and train stations, short walk to the river (great place for a morning run), everything you need nearby. This place was the perfect getaway — lovely views of both city and the park right below. It’s so convenient to Restaurants and nightlife and the Underground, the trains, and a bus station are just a hundred steps away. Our host Paul was also lovely … highly recommended! We would stay again!

Great place for a week in London.

Loved the location. Next to metro and beautiful park. Amazing skyline! Great commutation with host. He provided thorough instructions and lots of detail of things to do in London. We enjoyed our stay here.

Great Location

Paul is a fantastic host! Very responsive & chock full of information. The flat is airy & spacious by London standards. Lovely balcony. Next to a park. So easy to access public transit!!! We were very pleased with our stay!

Very Nice Place

This top floor flat is very nicely and comfortably furnished, with a great view from the large balcony, and a nice large park right across the way. Quite close to food stores, restaurants/cafes, and underground/train/bus stations, and with a very helpful host!

Fantastic place and wonderful host.

I can't say enough good things about this lovely and well-located little flat. As described and maybe even better! The host was so helpful and available. It was my family's first time experiencing London and all of Paul's suggestions were spot on. Hope to get back again soon.

A stone's throw from everything

Great interactions with host! Really helpful for the London neiphyte. A well supplied appartment whose proximity to tube, restaurants and local colour made for exactly the stay we were looking for.

An Awesome Stay

This lovely apartment in Vauxhall was a perfect retreat after busy days in London. The underground is 5 minutes away, making access to the entire city so easy. Paul is a gracious host, always available if you have any questions. The apartment is quite comfortable, equipped with all the essentials. We loved the neighborhood, lots of great ethnic restaurants, lovely river walks and easy grocery shopping.our weeks stay was a delight.

This was an amazing experience! Paul provided excellent communication throughout, from prior to our departure until we left to go home. The property is very nice, plenty of room for 2 people and a nice location near transportation, grocery and dining. He was available to answer questions very quickly and provided hints and suggestions for exploring London. We definitely recommend Paul as a host and his home as your home while in London. LOVED our stay!

Wonderful apartment

This property is clean, and large, compared to other locations Ive rented. It had everything you’d need for a successful trip. Paul sends lots of information about the apartment and the Vauxhall area around the apartment. The apartment is on the top floor with an AMAZING patio to put your feet up after a long day of sightseeing. Enjoy a beautiful sunset, and the park down below. The apartment is close to every form of public transportation as well.

Wow! Great place and Great Location

What a nice place in a great location to see all of London. One reason, I reserved this place was because of the good reviews about Paul our Host and he did not disappoint. You can’t go wrong with this place. Great safe location, close to transportation hubs, restaurants, and popular tourist locations. Very easy to get anywhere from this location. Home and accommodations were very nice and offered a great quiet place for us to relax after a day of sight-seeing. Great views as well. We took some great nighttime photo’s, from the penthouse and plan to have the picture framed to remember the trip. When I come back to London, I am staying here.

Close to transportation and a good place for nice weather

I only have minor reservations. I emphasize the good weather because there’s no clothes dryer, but warm weather does the trick fairly quickly. 2 minor things about the kitchen-the knives are very dull, so you have to be very careful using them, and the frying pan could use a lid. Still recommended- there’s a lot of great stuff within walking distance, and several bus lines operate at the tube station only moments away.

Thank you for your feedback – I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and it was really great to host you, Paul. You're absolutely right about the good weather being helpful for drying clothes. Like many one-bedroom UK apartments (especially in London), I don’t have a tumble dryer (as advertised), but I do provide clothes horses, and thanks to the consistently warm temperature in the apartment, clothes tend to dry overnight with ease. Regarding the kitchen, I can confirm the frying pan does not have a lid, but all the saucepans do, which I hope helped in the meantime. I’ll also take a look at the knives – thank you for pointing that out. While I always do my best to accommodate individual preferences and provided quite a bit of tailored information before and during your stay, I was a little surprised there was no acknowledgement of this. Also, it would have been helpful to have had some openness about the damage to the shower head, as I like to keep everything in top condition for all guests. That said, I’m really glad you enjoyed the location and nearby amenities – it truly is a great spot for getting around and making the most of the area! Warm wishes

Perfect flat in a great location!

I can't say enough positive things about this flat and host! From pre-booking on through to checking out, Paul was super responsive and so very helpful. The location is superb being only 5 min walk to the tube and bus station as well as having quick access to the river walk along the south bank. The flat offers all amenities needed for a home away from home stay and Paul provides an amazing amount of help and information for navigating London. Be sure to also check out The Tea House Theater just over the other side of the park for great desserts in a cozy atmosphere!

The Owner was Incredibly Helpful

Not only did the apartment meet our expectations, but it exceeded them. The introduction information including directions, maps, manuals, etc. simplified every experience. We felt like we were coming home after each long day of being a tourist. It was comfortable, attractive, and had a breathtaking view. The owner gave us excellent suggestions regarding recommended pubs, sights, and directions. The neighborhood, Vauxhall restaurants, and park below were full of families from a wide variety of cultures. It always felt very safe. Train, buses, and the underground were only a block away. Perfect!

I have travelled a lot and stayed in people's homes. I try and give guests the best possible experience I would want when I travel. This is really important to me. My spiritual journey from having a Government successful career, to something completely new, has provided me with the innate need to help people. Vauxhall is one of the most cosmopolitan areas of London as I like that people are really across ta wide socioeconomic scale, so everybody feels inclusive. I live in the park so they can not build in front of me, for London that is gold, so I have an amazing few of the park and beyond.
