Beautiful 6th floor oceanfront studio condominium at The Mahana at Kaanapali in West Maui. Mahana 602 provides everything you need for your vacation in paradise. The quiet surroundings and manicured tropical gardens at the Mahana at Kaanapali offer guests a wonderful sense of privacy yet all the exciting activities of Kaanapali Beach are close by. The resort is located in the central and convenient Honokowai area on Maui's west side. A private gate from The Mahana provides easy access to the boardwalk that goes for miles and eventually leads to the Kaanapali Beach resort area. Take a short walk on the boardwalk or the beach to Duke's restaurant next door or to one of the nearby resorts for fine dining and entertainment.

Great view and location.

Just returned from a 13 day stay in 602. This was one of the nicest locations we have ever stayed at. The view from the balcony was incredible, we seen whales, turtles and the beautiful Mountain View’s and sunsets. Excellent location and very peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Maui Location

This unit had everything we could have wanted and more! The views were amazing and almost felt like it was right on the water. A beautiful long sandy beach and boardwalk connects to lots of other resorts so there were many options for dinner or drinks. The pool area was a quiet refuge to tan on a lounge chair or unwind at the end of the day. We will come again!

Beyond our expectations…

We have already rebooked this unit for next year. Words cannot express the view from the lanai, you are definitely ocean front. It was incredible to have coffee in the morning & watch the sun come up on Molokai & Lanai. We saw whales all day, every day. The property itself was very nice. We found it quiet, except for the construction noise, which was tolerable & not every day. The unit was fairly equipped for preparing meals. There is a grocery store just a short walk away. We loved our time here & cant wait to come back!

The view is everything!

My husband and I just got back from celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary on Maui. This condo was perfect. When we booked the condo, we thought the pictures were too good to be true. But the truth is, the REAL view is even better than the pictures! Everything about this condo was perfect...the location, the view, the cleanliness, and the owners. Be sure to make note of the gate code. It will make walking to the beachwalk a breeze. And be sure to try Duke's! Thank you for helping to make our celebration even better! Your condo was first class! Mahalo nui loa!

Fair unit with number of problems including management

Condo is equipped with outdated appliances, floor was dirty, patio doors was difficult to open, kitchen silverware was incomplete, Tv was broken, and it appears that unit management is fair at best. Will not come back.

Early glitches

Overall the room would have been fine, except it was in disrepair when we got here. The slider to the lanai was broken, so we couldn’t get fresh air, worse- the AC didn’t work because the slider had a sensor that automatically shut it down. Brutally hot first two nights- no sleep. They finally fixed it on 3rd day. From then on it was fine. I asked for a credit for the 1st 2 nights. No response from Managers. Unreasonable that they rented us a room that they know was not as advertised

Rest and relaxation

This oceanfront condo, with a balcony overlooking the ocean, was not only extremely reasonable for the location, it was quiet and relaxing. Just a short walk to Dukes, one of our favorite places to eat and drink. If you are taking children, I would recommend one of the resorts by Dukes, that has a water slide, multiple pools, and multiple hot tubs. However, you will definitely pay more for the extra amenities. I will definitely book the same condo again because of their great price and location!!!!! Thank you for contributing to an amazing vacation!!!

Beautiful View!

The view was simply amazing, right on the beach. The studio suite was very clean and comfortable. It was very easy to check in. Loved listening to the waves. Lots of whales, some turtles and even saw a ray skipping over the waves. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent

Excellent stay! The Mahana grounds are beautiful and close to some amazing food trucks, eateries and grocery. Easy check in information provided, unit was as described, exceptionally clean and well stocked! Unparalleled views from the Lanai! Come with Binoculars and enjoy whales breeching and turtles popping up while you enjoy your morning coffee! My wife and I have already booked this unit for next year! The only thing to consider with this unit is if you are a light sleeper. Being so close to the ocean can be very loud and weather stripping to the lanai doors could be added. It wouldn’t stop the noise, but would help. Tip would be to bring some ear plugs just incase, to ensure a restful night’s sleep if you are a light sleeper!

Maui Marvelous

Truly paradise. It was exactly as pictured and described, but the wow factor of the view from the lanai can’t be overstated. Condo was clean and well appointed with beach chairs, beach towels, laundry & dishwasher pods, coffee & a comfy bed. Property is right on the beach, with daily turtle & whale sightings from the lanai. The washing machine was a little loud & would have liked.the use of binoculars, but would 100% recommend & stay again.

Great vacation

Our place was very clean and updated. We’ve been going over 15 years every year sometimes twice and this is the first time we’ve stayed in this condo and we will definitely go back to this one.

Perfect Views of Paradise

The property had everything we needed and more. When booking a place the view was our top priority. It was stunning to wake up and have breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the balcony. I will say you can still hear everything outside like the wind but the waves were so soothing. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice For A Condo

Let me start by saying we are not condo people. But for a condo, this was nice! There is a gorgeous view of the ocean from the patio, that seems very private until you hear the neighbor next to you belching. I guess that is part of condo life! We also had much noise from the neighbors above us on our last night (it sounded like an aerobics class from 1:00 am to 5:00 in the morning!) If that had happened our first night we would have checked out and stayed elsewhere. Fortunately, the sound of the ocean drowns out most noise, and that part was lovely. The unit itself is tiny (very small bathroom!) but was nice. We did buy some tropical flowers to spruce it up since it was a bit stark in ambiance (but at least not tacky on decor). Be aware that that kitchen has nothing other than plates, utensils and pans. No salt, pepper, coffee, etc. The kitchen was helpful for light breakfast but I don’t think you could actually cook a meal there. The condo complex is pretty and the pool looked nice and the location is good. Plenty of easy parking which was appreciated. Property manager was attentive and check in directions we rather lengthy and confusing but it all worked. I would not stay here again but it wasn’t horrible either. Just not quite the experience we were looking for.

Fantastic condo and stay in Maui!

I could not recommend this condo more! The pictures are fabulous but they don't do it justice. Everything that everyone else has said is spot on. The views are fantastic. We came in February and sat on the balcony watching whales day and night. They swim so close to the shore that we rarely even used the binoculars we brought with us. The condo is spotless. Bed was extremely comfortable. Check-in was a breeze. The outdoor pool is heated and so nice, as is the outdoor spa. We used both every evening. The property is quiet. This is truly a wonderful spot - close distance to shops, restaurants, etc. I am already looking at dates for my next trip!

Dream vacation!!

My wife and I went to Maui for our 26 year wedding anniversary. The Mahana was a amazing place to stay. The condo was great and the view off the balcony was so amazing pictures don't do it justice. Everytime we looked outside it was stunning and the sunsets were breathtaking. We would absolutely stay here again if we ever come back to Maui. Aloha!
