The cottage is well situated in a beautiful village, with a short walk to the water side. There is a ferry across the river to Agatha Christie's holiday home, and easily accessible nature walks. The village is charming, and the local pub is nice. The house itself is great, well stocked for cooking (be sure to familiarise yourself with an AGA oven / stove top though!). One minor thing is that in the main bedroom, the water tank is set in the wall immediately behind the headboard, and has a consistent noise (a bit like water dripping and a small plastic piece knocking about), they should consider fixing this, or just be aware if you're sensitive.
The beds were comfortable, fire place was wonderful, and the views in the garden are incredible. The garden itself is massive, and has a seating area with unmatched views of the waterside, and is incredibly peaceful.
