Surrounded by farmland and beautiful countryside, Hatchers sits proudly between the city of Chichester and the Witterings. Rural and secluded, yet perfectly located to easily reach both sea and city.



But with a swimming pool, gym, yoga studio* next door, plenty of outdoor seating areas and children’s play equipment you may not want to go anywhere else!

This 16th Century country home, with exposed beams and original features throughout, is the perfect retreat for families or friends to escape from it all and recharge in beautiful surroundings.

The Neighborhood:

This country home is set in the rural village of Sidlesham, just south of Chichester and north of the beaches at Selsey and The Witterings. If you’re looking exceptional accommodation that’s easy to drive to, pleasantly isolated, yet just a short distance from the sea and city centre, this is it. Here are just some of the things to do and places to go that can be easily reached by car from the farmhouse:



THE SEA: You have beaches to choose from at Bracklesham Bay, West Wittering, and Selsey, each of which is great for a good day out. So too is Bognor Regis which is a little further east along the coast.



THE CITY: Chichester city centre is nearby and has everything you’d expect from a modern city, including a landmark cathedral. So come here to stock up on food, or to browse the shops, and grab some refreshment from the many pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops in the area.



GOODWOOD: Famous for its race meetings and Festival of Speed, this is one of the UK’s most picturesque sports venues. And it’s only a short drive from the farmhouse.



Other attractions nearby include Chichester Golf Club and Jungle Paradise Adventure Golf and Chichester's marina and harbour.



Getting Around:

We strongly recommend that you arrive by car as it will give you the freedom to explore and enjoy the beautiful West Sussex area. Please note there isn't a shop within walking distance.

Although this property sleeps 10, one bedroom has children's bunks. As such a maximum of 8 adults and 2 children are able to stay.
