Velkommen til dit nye hjem væk fra hjemmet, hvor at komme væk fra det hele ikke betyder at give det hele op. Kom og bliv på sumptunen og vende tilbage til naturen. Swamp Tuna bruger konventionel fremdrift, så selv en nybegynder kan komme rundt med lethed. (Jep ... DU KAN Køre det rundt !!) Dette område er sammen med vilde dyr. Oplev en rolig, fredelig atmosfære i det bedste Syd Louisiana har at byde på. Opret dit eget eventyr eller bliv i blødgøren af stilheden. Vores unikke husbåd er solcelledrevet for effektivitet, hvilket betyder, at der ikke er støjende generatorer om bord. Den sover fire (1 i fuld størrelse seng, 1 - fuld størrelse futon). Nogle af faciliteterne inkluderer: et badeværelse i fuld størrelse med badekar og bruser i fuld størrelse, en indvendig koketopp med tre brændere, en 5. 8 cu. ft. bryst køleskab, spisebord sæder fire, dæk brænder, lille bordplade hibachi på fordækket, to kajakker og to dæk rockers for at nævne nogle få. The swamp tuna was a wonderful addition to our vacation. The hosts made this a wonderful experience for us and everything including what was provided for our stay shows that it was all thought out to ensure guests have the upmost best experience. 10/10 would recommend the swamp tuna and hope to come back again.

This was an amazing experience. The boat is stocked with everything you need. To be that close to the wildlife is like nothing you have experienced. I really hope we get to do it again someday.

We had a blast on the Swamp Tuna. The hosts did a great job of explaining everything and remained on call throughout the trip. The boat is incredibly well stocked and we had a blast living on it, we definitely plan on returning one day!

We just came back from staying on the Swamp Tuna houseboat in Pierre Part. The houseboat was very clean, stocked with everything a person would need. The only thing we brought was our clothes. It had everything else. We had a great time and couldn’t ask for better host than Lyndsie. She answered all our questions and was there for us when we needed her. I have been telling everyone about them since we left this morning. This trip was so relaxing and beautiful with all the wild life. I would encourage Everyone to go and experience What Louisiana has to offer you won’t be sorry

This was truly one of the funnest trips I’ve ever been on! The Clark and Lindsey were amazing and so very helpful. They even fully stocked the swamp tuna full of food, fishing gear and everything we could have ever needed. I will definitely be back- I would HIGHLY recommend.

She didn’t have a Bluetooth speaker. That’s it. Everything else was provided for our needs!! The groceries are well stocked, unless you have a specific meal in mind,then bring your groceries, otherwise, you don’t hv to worry about it! For 3 glorious nights, me & the hubs had a getaway that’s unforgettable & we already want to get back there! It’s easy to feel like the only people on earth when you’re in the back of a swamp & there’s nothing around for a dozen miles but nature! One morning at 3:30 I was startled awake by gators growling at each other! Seriously, we can not wait to go back!

A unique stay with warm and responsive hosts. We came with freezing temperature in the bayou so we were not able to fully enjoy what the bayou and swamp tuna can offer. But despite this ,it's a lovely stay with my family of 4.

I can’t recommend this enough!!! The houseboat was so much fun, and it’s stocked with everything you need. All the food and snacks in my pictures were provided. There is also a case of bottled waters, gallons of water for cooking, snacks, basic cooking ingredients and equipment for a boil! We drove the boat out to lake Verret, pulled into a canal and spent the night amongst the gators and nature. Full functioning bathroom, the bed was comfortable, and they even provide a box of nightcrawlers for bait. If you’re a fan of the TV show, Swamp People, you might even get to meet the Landry clan like we did!!! Great vacation!!!

Clark and Lyndsie as always do an excellent job. This was our second time on the boat and we will be back for a third as long as Clark keeps offering this special opportunity. The layout of the boat is incredibly wellthought out and essentially it is a well appointed mobile cabin that can submerge you deep in nature in total comfort. We are a family of 4 with an 8 and 10 year old and this is their favorite vacation. Easy fishing, abundant wildlife, the opportunity to explore miles of untouched swamp. Truly a unique experience.

Best vacation ever

Spent four days on the houseboat in the swamp. My kids loved every minute and said it was the best vacation they had ever been on. Boat was well provisioned and the hosts were very attentive. Highly recommended and we hope to come back in the future.

Quiet and relaxing getaway

Having spent our entire lives in what we consider to be the most beautiful place on earth, we were determined to create a new way to enjoy it. I've owned many houseboats through the years. Although they were useful they were somewhat inconvenient. The generator always had to be maintained and constantly refueled (and was noisy). Traditionally, they're stationary and not designed for exploration. This is why we are SO excited to introduce The Swamp Tuna. We also custom build for sale.

Convenience and comfort are now both on the move! Our solar powered houseboats are the new way to enjoy the best nature has to offer. No more noisy generator, no more living from an ice chest, no more cold baths. Many of the comforts of home... on the move! Super easy to pilot and can be rented for a family day on the lake or extended stay.
