The place was clean. It was easy to check in. Laundry and dishwasher pods are easily available. Quick walk to the beach.

The rental company was excellent to deal with, the location was exactly as described, and the unit was as pictured and the air conditioners worked well. Unfortunately there was a ghost ant and cockroach infestation. Hundreds of ants all over the counters and 15-20 baby cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom each day. There were cockroach traps out when we arrived and that should have been a clue, but we figured that meant they were being proactive. When we told them about the problem they sent someone to spray RAID which helped for a day, but then the cockroaches came back worse. There were large one as well. We did have to call and ask them to refund us as we were moving to a new location. They were very kind and refunded us for our unused nights as well as an additional amount on top of that. It was very kind of them. they assured us the unit would be treated appropriately once we were gone. Excellent hosts and they handled the problem very well. We were satisfied with the outcome.

Perfect condo for a honeymoon couple. Fantastic location right across from a beautiful beach. Very comfortable and clean with nice amenities and plenty of beach gear. Loved the pool too. Would happily stay here again!

Place was pretty good. Washer didn’t work but they sent a guy over right away - after leaving unplugged for a few hours it worked fine. Portable AC unit hose kept falling off window as it was just tapped in - found some tape and fixed. Second time at Kīhei Bay Vista and love the area. Lots of little bugs running around on counter as saw one cockroach run across the kitchen to disappear under dishwasher. Overall was a good place for our vacay on Maui.

Amazing location with a lovely beach for swimming right across the street! The apartment was nice with everything needed for a relaxing vacation, especially the pool and hot tub and great restaurants just up the road.

Whale Watching in Maui

Came to the island to relax, snorkle and whale watch. Trip complecated by recent storm, but still very enjoyable.

1st big vacation sadly impacted by roach infestation

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Due to circumstances beyond our control, I had to cancel and rebook a room twice, as we were getting near the dates of our trip I found this cute condo at an incredible price. I called the rental company to ensure that it was legit at that price and ask about the condition of the property. I was assured that it was a nice clean place, and we would be comfortable there. Once we were medically cleared to come I booked it. We had some flight delays so got in well after dark. The lighting was not great but with flashlights could not see any problems. The following morning, we encountered full grown roaches and about 50 babies in the kitchen. I called the rental company to see what to do, they sent a man with some traps and a bottle of insect spray. He mansplained to me that we were in their habitat and I needed to calm down. I asked about moving and was told that the price I had paid would only get me the condo adjacent to ours which would have been also infested, since the roaches were prevalent in the bathroom that boarded our unit. The AC did not work and shut off throughout the night, the dryer was not vented so when I tried to wash the units beach towels, the entire condo heated up. It was pretty miserable. I recognize that the rental company can’t be on top of all the units, but do wish they would have done more to make this right. This was far more than an occasional roach, I had to buy sticky traps and additional cleaning supplies. We estimated that we saw over 100 during our time there. The condo itself was cute, well stocked and otherwise pleasant.
