Dette smukke hjem blev bygget af min far. Custom wood design med masser af plads til hele din familie!
Det store soveværelse har sin egen private balkon! Hovedniveauet har også et dæk, hvor du kan slappe af i boblebadet efter en lang dag med aktiviteter! Fuld brug hjem betyder, at du har alt hvad du behøver fra din vaskemaskine og tørretumbler til dine gryder og pander! Du er kun få minutter væk fra Munising, som er berømt for deres billedet rock tours! Kano på Au Train River er også noget, du ikke vil gå glip af! En fantastisk ferie stedet med masser at gøre! Jeg har brætspil og puslespil, så du kan også have familie tid sammen.

Family stay

Property was beautiful. The home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The owner was very helpful and patient. If you're looking for an up north family get away, this place is great. I would stay again!

Pictured Rocks Summer Getaway

This stay was very relaxing. Had the opportunty to unplug, as there was noTV or wifi; just nature and the local attractions to take our time. The home was very clean and well equipted, the weather was perfect, and the stars were amazing. A wonderful four days to explore the national lakeshore and all it contains.

Awesome cabin near Munising!

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Tricia (owner) made herself available during our stay. I could tell that she puts her guests first. Our family will definitely rent here again when we come back up to the UP!

Trail riding trip

Property was clean, and secluded in the woods, plenty of dishes and appliances. No tv or internet, but i did have service for Verizon!

Loved our stay

Everyone loved our stay here. Once we found the property it was just as described and was a great launching point for a weekend enjoying Pictured rocks. The drive way was a two track so if you don’t have a car that can handle that or don’t want to get your car dirty be aware of that. The open floor plan allowed for everyone to talk even while making food. Coffee on the porch in the morning was amazing and so was the late night soaks in the hot tub. Would recommend going to anyone.

Needs attention

Good communication with host, but house appears shabby and uncared for. No working coffee maker, no working hot tub or fireplace, deck has rotting wood and is a safety issue, broken/missing blinds in the master suite, a mouse problem main floor.

UP Michigan

The house was nice, well stocked and clean. The owner was very kind and helpful. The hot hub in the pictures isn’t working and the hot water is minimal. We had 4 adults and there wasn’t enough water for two showers back to back. It’s a 3 story home, so not for anyone who can’t go stairs. The trash was overflowing in the garage and filled the house with flies. Also, there was no heat in the home because the propane was empty and we had lows in the low 40’s.

Its a nice house, but a little pricey for what you get.

Let me share the pros and cons for this place. Pros: - Its a secluded enough location if you want to keep away from the crowds of Munising. - The porch area is very nice to have your breakfast and coffee - The views from the upper bedroom are gorgeous. We saw some beautiful skies during sunsets and its also great for star gazing - Tricia is very responsive and friendly Cons: - You will not find the address on the GPS - its quite convoluted, especially if you are arriving after dark. But I have to say Tricia was very helpful and prompt in guiding us to the home. - No wifi in the home - you are completely cut off if you don't get cell phone reception there - The home has a very musty smell - No airconditioning - we were baked in the house, especially in the living room as the porch door couldn't be kept open due to mosquitoes - I wish there was a screen to the the porch door. - The entrance is through a garage which is filled with a lot of stuff and again the musty smell is very strong - it just doesn't leave a good impression especially when you are entering the house for the first time - The dishwasher was not working - it was a nuisance for us to keep washing everything by hand, especially since they have only 4 dinner plates. There are 3 bedrooms so the house can accommodate 6 ppl easily, but there is not enough dinnerware for a family of 6.

When we first arrived, I couldn’t get in touch with the host to get the code to the house. When she finally called back around 9pm, the house was cold inside and the fireplace had no propane. One heat register in a room was broken and we had to use a room heater in the upstairs room. I’m glad I brought my heated throw! She advertises 2 full baths and 3 toilets but only 2 toilets found. There was mice poop on 2 of the nightstands and in a corner of the kitchen. I live in the country and we have mice—someone should have gone to the property to clean this up before guests arrived. The ice maker doesn’t work on the freezer door which is okay but there are no ice cube trays provided. The large bin in the freezer hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There was a mildewed sponge in the dishwasher. Whoever cleans the place does not clean under the furniture—super dusty and dirty. I did talk/text her and she said her maintenance man would be back in town tomorrow and she would contact her housekeeper but no other contact was received and no one showed up all week to resolve these issues. I picked this cute, remote home because it had good reviews. It had a new deck and she provided some wood for an outdoor fire pit. Our husbands would not have stayed in this home. We also used the washer/ dryer and I saw that the cup for liquid softener located on the agitator was caked with scum and mildew so I removed it to clean it before washing our clothes only to find more scum and mildew. Yuck

Tricia was great to work with, and our overall stay was fantastic. The property was minutes from Munising and the AuTrain River so it provided access to everything we wanted to do. Tricia communicated with us about garbage collection (Tuesdays), new furniture delivery (the new couch is nice!!), the condition of the road leading to the property (poor due to a huge storm the week prior), and the steep steps from the garage to the main living quarters. They are definitely old-build steps, narrow and steep - typical of old built homes in the mid-west. Tricia addressed every question I asked and although she is in Colorado, she had people out to help us with the one issue we needed. Our family had a wonderful stay, and we'd go back again if staying in Pictured Rocks another time! If you are up for a rural, comfortable home to stay in that is perfectly situated for experiencing the Pictured Rocks area, this is what you're looking for!

Not so merry time in Christmas, Michigan

The property is in a good location with plenty of space for a large group and is close to many state and national parks and recreation areas. It wasn't quite as advertised though. The drive to the house was in very rough shape and hard to navigate. The hot tub on the balcony was nearly empty and had tree debris in it. Both balconies had rotten boards that made them unsafe to use. The propane tank was empty, so the main source of heat for the building, the fireplace, didn't work. The baseboard heater in one of the main floor bedrooms didn't work. Flies were coming the house from some unknown source in such numbers we were using the vacuum cleaner to suck them up. When contacted about the heat and hot tub issues, the owner offered a full refund so we could find a hotel in one of the nearby towns. Since the point of the trip was to spend time together, not in separate hotel rooms, the offer was declined. A small refund was offered instead. The property needs a bit of care before I would rent it again.

Hitting the Trails

3 couples came up for a relaxing and fun get away and to get our side by sides out on the trails. The house was equipped with everything you would enjoy at home. Plenty of space for 6 adults to enjoy an extended weekend! Would stay again! Host is extremely accommodating and quick to respond.

Perfect Getaway

Finding and booking this stay was the perfect little blessing to start a wonderful long weekend away with friends to disconnect. Tricia was always quick to respond and accommodating to things throughout our stay and it made the weekend flow so easy and peaceful. The garage was a wonderful peace of mind to keep our car safe and the high decks were the perfect spot to stay safe while enjoying nature especially at night with star gazing. The upper level deck was the perfect spot to put a chair or lay a blanket down on a clear night! The rental was stocked really well and made family meals super easy and manageable after days out exploring. Lastly the convenience to how close all of our destinations were for hiking and rock collecting was a pleasant surprise! Highly recommend booking and I will definitely kept this stay on my saved list for the future! Thank you Tricia for a beautifully safe stay!

Nice but not what I expected

Nice house, but no A/C, Wi-Fi, or television! This was not good in August & poor cell service in the area. The gravel road was totally washed out & made getting to the house difficult. A regular car would've have made it up the hill.

Great location

Very nice place located extremely close to pictured rocks. Had another very nice beach a couple miles away. Couldn’t be more pleased with the place.
