This traditional stone cottages offers groups of four a fantastic spot to relax and unwind in the Devon countryside. Surrounded by lush, green fields filled with animals and picturesque views over the hills, the cottage sits in a peaceful, tranquil location just minutes away from the stunning North Devon coast. The cottage is located on a huge private estate, and guests will love the fantastic shared facilities at their disposal including the indoor swimming pool, valley views and various play areas for children that make this a fantastic holiday destination for those travelling with little ones.

Aylesbury Cottage sleeps four guests across two bedrooms. Entering the property, visitors are welcomed by an open-plan living, kitchen and dining space which allows for family living while maintaining the cosy ambiance within. Cuddle up in front of the Smart TV, and enjoy movie nights with your loved ones, or sit around the extendable dining table with a drink long into the evening. In winter, fire up the log burner and stay toasty and warm throughout your stay.

Aylesbury cottage stay

We had a great stay here. Accommodation was in a fantastic location and I would hope to return maybe to a larger cottage. My only criticism was that the second bedroom was rather tight for 2 adults and is better suited to 2 children.

A great week in Devon

We really enjoyed our stay at Coulscott House. The property was just as pictured and of a very high standard. The beds were comfortable , the longe cosy and the kitchen well equipped. For us, its mainly about how entertained our child is, and therefore how much rest we get. And this site was perfect for that. Of course you rely on more children staying in the other properties, but the property itself had great stuff for the kids. Our daughter spent lots of time with the wide variety of animals they have, and the swimming pool and games room and play areas were all winners. And with the relative isolation of the site, you know that they are safe and you can give them so much freedom. The site itself was beautiful and I would highly recommend it. The only very minor downside is that I would have liked a gym there, but otherwise it was fab.

Fantastic stay

Amazing stay, facilities were perfect for us and our kids. We loved the pool and hot tub and the kids loved the soft play and animals. I'm sure we'll be back!

The best break away!

Myself, my parents and our two dogs had the most relaxing break away here at Coulscott, We stayed in the Aylesbury cottage which was beautiful, spotlessly clean, so cosy with the log burner, and well equipped with everything you’ll need and more. We loved the free range animals within the complex, it was lovely to walk into the area where the animals were and all of a sudden they all come running towards you, it was great! The views from upstairs in the cottage were beautiful! Excellent location, we drove to all of the North Devon beaches which were not too far at all. It was the most peaceful stay, we would absolutely love to come back again. Alice was very welcoming and always available if we needed anything, thank you

Beautiful Holiday

We had the best first holiday as a family. The weather wasn't so good but that didn't matter. There was plenty for our 3 year old son to do. The play room was great, as was the outdoor play area and swimming pool. He absolutely adored feeding the animals each morning. We especially loved the very friendly little grey rabbit. The hot tub was my much needed treat, loved it. Alice and luke were very friendly and welcoming. The cottage and whole area was beautiful. Can't recommend enough.

Wonderful Family Break - Highly Recommend

We absolutely loved our stay at Aylesbury Cottage. The cottage was spacious enough for our family of four, including two young children. It was very clean and well equipped for a week's stay. Stair gates were available, the kitchen had everything we needed and we loved having the option of a BBQ. Our daughters loved the facilities which were ideal on the days where we wanted to relax or the British weather let us down. The cottage is conveniently located next to the games room and indoor pool, whilst the outdoor play equipment is a short stroll from the front door. The highlight for our children was visiting the animals each day. They adored watching the chickens and alpacas, and were lucky enough to feed them. Alice is a professional and friendly host. I thought I had lost my necklace on check out, and she was willing to go the extra mile to help me find it - found in a pocket, phew! The site management team were also great to chat to, and made us feel very at home. Coulscott is in a perfect location for a variety of days out and beach trips in North Devon. We would highly recommend and would love to return.
