Property was as advertised, great location and generally quite comfortable. We stayed for 3 weeks in March, so the pools were not heated which was disappointing. We had a few minor issues which were sorted quickly and to our satisfaction by Paula, the owner. We would have appreciated a full size fridge as we were 4 adults and had most of our meals in Loved the deck size and overall size of the unit. Would recommend to travelers who want space and a convenient location to town. Easy 5 minute walk to the marina and beach board walk.

Would highly recommend

Lovely spacious apartment in a great location. Great access to the beach, marina and old town. Having access to the swimming pool was great. Also the BBQ on the balcony , made it really easy to do your own catering and to make the most of the sunshine.

Modern, spacious, clean, well equipped apartment

This is a lovely spacious and modern apartment, well equipped with a lovely pool and sun terrace. Secure parking available. Very peaceful surroundings yet within walking distance of the old town and marina with loads of restaurants and shops. The BBQ on the terrace meant that eating in was a pleasure and definitely added to the holiday. Would definitely go back!

We spent a wonderful four weeks at this well-equipped, huge and spotless apartment. Our favourite spot was on the large balcony which overlooked the lovely swimming pool. The balcony's table and chairs were wonderful for outdoor eating or playing games, and there were also two comfortable lounge chairs on the balcony. The balcony also had a charcoal barbecue and sink, even though we did not use either of them. The apartment also had an indoor wood fireplace which we also did not use. The apartment was in a perfect location close to the train station, Marina, and within easy walking distance to the beach, Old Town and the large and beautiful Pingo Doce grocery store. Although there was no central heating, the electric heaters kept the apartment sufficiently warm during cool days. Paula was a wonderful hostess who replied quickly to any questions that I had.

Great!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The apartment is very nice, modern and well equipped – it would be perfect if it had a dishwasher. It is part of a small complex with a good private pool and you can see the pool from the balcony, which is great to check on your kids. The location is perfect, quiet, very close to Meia Praia but only 10 a minutes walk from Lagos city center. The check in and check out is very convenient and Paula was a great host, answering very promptly some minor questions that we had.

Lovely stay at this Lagos apartment.

Location is a 10 minute walk from Lagos town centre. Apartment was well appointed and clean. The lounge is huge, photos don’t do it justice. Beach is also a short 10 min walk away. Pool was good, but there’s no shade if that’s an issue for some. Would recommend and definitely consider returning if we’re ever in Lagos again. Lagos itself is a lovely town with plenty of decent restaurants. Lots of nice beaches either walking distance or a short drive away.

Lovely apartment in a perfect location

This apartment is really clean and very spacious. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped with all mod cons. We had UK television and free wifi - what a bonus! It's in a small complex of apartments in a quiet location, but within a few minutes you are at the wonderful Lagos Marina. Then five minutes later you are in the heart of Lagos Old Town. The beautiful Meia Praia beach is only five minutes from the apartment and Pingo Doce supermarket is only ten minutes away on foot. We stayed for 10 nights in May and had great weather. The swimming pool was warm enough to use and the sunbathing terrace around the pool is huge with plenty of sun loungers provided. The pool is beautifully lit at night and the apartment balcony overlooks the pool with Lagos Old Town in the distance. We had a lovely, relaxing time and will be booking again for next year!

Ok if you just need a place to sleep

Advantag location and size of flat nice balcony with nice view Disadvantages : Bad noise isolation, you hear the neighbors constantly. Absolutely no view from the living room. The flat could really need a deep clean. There is no decorations or anything to make it feel cosy. Sunbeds at the pool were all chained, so we couldn’t really use the pool area. We would not come back again. But if you just want a spacious place to spend the night, then it serves the purpose (the neighbors on top were loud in the middle of the night)

I was quite saddened to read your review, not because of the unkind comments you made about our apartment, but because you obviously didn’t have a great time in Lagos. It was unfortunate that Lagos went into lockdown just before you arrived and bars and restaurants were all closed during your stay. Lagos is usually a vibrant and lively place to spend Christmas and New Year with huge celebrations taking place in the Old Town, but unfortunately, they were cancelled this year due to Covid. You are quite right when you mentioned that one of the advantages of the apartment is its location and its nice views from the balcony. The view from the lounge is onto the balcony, which overlooks the pool. The apartment balcony is very private and not overlooked, and at night, the views across the bay towards the Old Town are spectacular. You mentioned cleanliness, but your comment was quite vague, so I’m unable to comment specifically. All I can say is that the apartment is professionally deep-cleaned every six months and thoroughly cleaned between guests. Many of my previous 4* and 5* star reviews mention how lovely and clean the apartment was when they arrived, so your comment about the cleanliness doesn’t quite ring true. Our property manager is fastidious about cleanliness, and in the 10 years that we have been renting out the apartment, yours is the first negative comment we’ve had regarding the cleaning. The apartment is decorated with a neutral palette with matching modern furniture, which most people prefer. I’m sorry the decoration wasn’t to your liking, but the apartment is tastefully decorated and stylishly furnished in a minimalistic style. It is not cluttered with ornaments, knick-knacks and our own personal effects and the photos on our website clearly show how the apartment is furnished. The apartment is huge and ideally suited to families who can appreciate the vast amount of space it has to offer. You mentioned that the sunbeds at the pool were all chained, which is true. These are dedicated sunbeds belonging to our apartment, and the reason they’re chained is to ensure that they’re always available for you to use. The code to unlock the padlock was emailed to you before your arrival, but if you had mislaid it, you could have asked for it again and I would’ve happily told you. On reflection, I sense you were disappointed that you chose to travel to Lagos when it was in lockdown, rather than with the apartment itself, which is a shame.

Lovely, Quiet Spring Holiday

A very nice and clean apartment in a quiet complex. It's a much bigger unit than we had anticipated! As we were there in Spring we missed the busy tourist season which we quite enjoyed. The pool looked clean but was it was too cold for us to use at that time of year. There's a trail that you can take at the end of the block through the train station that gets you to the marina and walking bridge in less than ten minutes which made this a great location. It's also relatively close to a big grocery store and the beach as well. The marina has a few pubs and restaurants that definitely cater to the British crowd that is in town. Crossing the foot bridge and walking into the old town provides lots of options for great restaurants and shops. The instructions to get into the building and unit were clear and easy to use. We didn't need to connect with the local manager at all during our stay. We enjoyed our time in Lagos!

Lovely apartment

We stayed for a week in April and were very pleased with this apartment. It's huge for a holiday apartment, absolutely spotless and well presented. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could need. All the major appliances - kettle, cooker, hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine (no drier but there's a clothes airer). Plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, and even a hand held blender. Excellent communication from the owner with lots of detailed information provided prior to our stay. The apartment block and area were very quiet in April. Only saw others by the pool once or twice, but then it was too cold to swim. Warm enough for some sun bathing though. 10 minute walk to the beach in one direction, and 10 minutes to the train station and marina in the other. We were travelling with our 8 month old baby so appreciated the convenience of an apartment and the quiet area. The highchair was good (ikea antilop), but the travel cot not so much. The mattress was really poor, felt like a piece of folded cardboard. This is the first travel cot we've used so not sure if it's standard. However next time we'll probably buy our own travel mattress and/or cot to be sure. On the whole, really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

We will be back again, certainly.

We spent a week at the beginning of August 2019. We found a perfectly equipped, clean and modern apartment. The apartment is situated in a very quiet beach area. The restaurants and nightclubs, though very close, are far enough away not to bother. Lagos is a small medieval city with a rich history linked to the Portuguese Discoveries. Its narrow streets and small squares are sprinkled with shops, good restaurants and a lot of entertainment, especially at night. The flat has a very good range of essential appliances as well as two flat-screen TVs. The Wi-Fi signal is very good, rare to find in holiday flats. Enough perfectly to see Netflix. The kitchen and living room are very large, as well as the balcony is very spacious. The grill was an asset to the various barbecues we had there, enjoying the fresh fish of the area. Prior to arrival, the hostess Paula will provide you with access to a dedicated internet address for the apartment. On this site, the guest will have access to the following information: 1- Getting to Algarve Apartment from Faro Airport. 2- On arrival at Algarve Apartment: - Keysafe instructions. - Essential information. - Information on parking, water, electric shutters etc; - Parking space; 3- Operating instructions: - Television lounge; - Bedroom television; - Washing machine; - Sofa bed. 4- Out and about in Lagos: - Lagos Marina and Old Town; - Supermarket; - Meia Praia beach; - Maps. In the common area there is a large communal pool. All common spaces were spotlessly clean and well maintained. If possible, we will be back, certainly.

Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa. O apartamento é muito espaçoso e está muito bem equipado. A linda meia praia está a uma distância de 5/7 minutos a pé. Nos dias mais ventosos aproveitamos a piscina exterior e a temperatura da água convidava a uns bons mergulhos. Os restaurantes e espaços de convívio encontram-se a uma caminhada de distância. Adoramos o facto de não termos de depender do carro para nos deslocarmos. É, com toda a certeza, uma experiência a repetir!

Sejour en famille parfait !! L appartement est spacieux et tres bien situé. Nous avons tout fait à pieds, plages, courses, centre de Lagos. L hôte est très reactive et à l écoute. Nous reviendrons !!

Très bel appartement, a proximité du centre ville

Il manque des chaises longues pour la piscine , appartement pour 6 et seulement 2 chaises longues dispos au bord de la piscine

Merci beaucoup pour votre avis 5*. Je suis ravi que vous ayez apprécié l'appartement et son emplacement par rapport au centre-ville. En ce qui concerne la situation des transats, nous avons essayé de mettre la main sur deux autres transats à mettre au bord de la piscine, mais il y en a une pénurie pour le moment. Nous espérons que cela sera corrigé dès que possible.
