Located at 1,353 meters above sea level in the historic village of Borgata Chiesa—the main settlement among the many hamlets of the San Michele Prazzo Valley—it is strategically situated as a starting point for the numerous hikes this area has to offer. Access to the building—located a 1-minute walk from the Piazza di Borgata Chiesa—is via a passageway under the communal portico. At the entrance to the fully fenced property, there is a small wooden gate, and the front door is reached via the sidewalk. On the first floor, the cabin features an entrance leading into the bright living area, furnished with a wooden table and matching chairs, a TV, Wi-Fi, and a rustic kitchen made of reclaimed wood, equipped with a sink, countertop, induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee maker, utensils, and dishes; from the living room, an exposed wooden staircase leads to the first floor, where, off the hallway, you’ll find the romantic bedroom with a double bed made of Swiss pine, from which you can admire Mount Chersogno and Rocca Gialeo; there is another cozy room with wooden bunk beds, a bathroom equipped with a toilet, bidet, sink, and shower, and an outdoor balcony along the main facade. The property is completed on the first floor by a spacious wooden terrace and an exclusive green area, while descending the exterior stone staircase leads to the basement, where there is another exclusive fenced-in green area and an utility room housing the laundry area equipped with a washing machine.
1) REQUIRED COPY OF IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT:
Pursuant to Article 109 of the TULPS, accommodation may only be provided to individuals in possession of a valid identification document.
The personal information of guests must be submitted within twenty-four hours of arrival; for stays of no more than twenty-four hours, within six hours of arrival.
Therefore, in order to successfully confirm the reservation and complete check-in, ALL guests must provide the host with their identification documents (ID card / passport) as soon as the reservation is accepted; failure to do so will prevent the host from providing accommodation, resulting in the cancellation of the check-in.
The photograph of the identification documents must be clear and legible so that the following information can be obtained:
Document type / Document number / Issuing country / Issuing municipality
The documents must include the following information:
Citizenship / Country of birth / City of birth / Country of residence / City of residence / Residential address (the latter if the residence has changed from what is stated on the identification document).
Only once the host has received the information listed above may they proceed to submit the personal details of the guests to the Questura (State Police).
2) TOURIST TAX:
The tourist tax was established by Resolution No. 21 of the “ 24.07.2018 ” of the Consiglio Unione Montana Valle Maira.
The tax rate for this lodging facility is €1.50 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 consecutive days.
Children under 12 years of age are exempt.
A specific rate chart is available on-site.
The amount must be paid to the host, who will then forward the payment to the Unione Montana Valle Maira.
