Villa Caminata is part of the Tenuta di Murlo luxury private country estate, which consists of several thousand hectares of pristine countryside.

Nestled in the Umbrian hills of the Murlo Estate, located between Umbertide and Perugia, with views of the Antognolla golf course, Villa Caminata is ideal for a golf getaway or a romantic retreat. The charming six-bedroom house is surrounded by a lush garden and features a separate guest house with its own private living area, kitchenette, and bedroom. It’s just minutes away from the greens and clubhouse.

Start the day with a coffee at one of the outdoor dining areas on the terrace, then take a book down to a lounge chair by the pool. Prepare lunch on the outdoor grill and enjoy your meal in the shade of the pergola-covered al fresco dining area. After a day of sightseeing or golf, relax with satellite TV and a DVD player. For convenience and comfort, both the main house and the guest cottage feature air conditioning and Wi-Fi access.

Caminata’s interiors are eclectic and relaxed. The spacious living room features two seating areas—one facing the garden and the other the fireplace—and a comfortable mix of a velour sofa, wicker wingback chairs, and tufted leather ottomans, all set against beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. The traditional vibe extends to the dining room, which features floral drapes and vintage-style round-backed chairs, and the eat-in kitchen, which has ladder-back chairs and exposed wood shelving.

Each of the villa’s six bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom; five are in the main house and one is in the guest cottage. In the main house, there are two bedrooms with king-size beds and two bedrooms with two twin beds. The guest cottage has a bedroom with a king-size bed as well as its own sitting area, television, and kitchenette.

Whether you stroll through the garden featuring over 3,000 plants or simply relax by the pool, there’s plenty to do right at the villa. But during your stay, don’t miss a visit to the Antognolla golf course, just a 2-minute drive away—even if it’s just to have a drink at the clubhouse. The club is situated between Umbertide and Perugia in Umbria, close to Lake Trasimeno and the border with Tuscany.
