La Casetta di Vite in Rosa
An entire 143-square-meter house nestled among the vineyards of Valdobbiadene, in the Prosecco hills designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
A home with a strong identity, sleeping 7.
Are the exterior stone walls the original ones from 1900? [Insert decade].
On the first floor, there is an open-concept kitchen featuring stone and marble, complete with an 18th-century fireplace, a spacious living room with a double sofa bed, and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.
An internal staircase leads to the upper floor, where the old barn has been converted into a spacious living room and reading room. Adjacent to it is the bedroom with a double bed. A few steps up lead to the second bathroom, equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink, and to the second bedroom, which, in addition to the double bed, features a loft with a single bed and a closet.
The large window features an iron frame created by joining two window grilles from Tozeur, Tunisia; the curtains are ethnic in style, selected from Turkey and the Far East.
THE SETTING OF THE LITTLE HOUSE
The Casetta di Vite in Rosa features stone and wood finishes, artistically painted doors, and prestigious antique furniture. Every room is very bright; from the windows, you can admire both the sunrise and the sunset. Perched atop a small hill where peace and silence reign, it offers a panoramic view; deer and fawns often come down from the woods, and in the summer they frequently visit to feed on the precious ripening grape clusters.
We would like to inform you that our vineyards—we are Prosecco producers—follow the SQNPI protocol; we do not use herbicides, pesticides, or insecticides (except for grapes, in compliance with regulations) to preserve and respect nature. As a result, insects may be found in the cottage; none are dangerous, but we do not intend to eliminate them.
WHO IS THE “CASETTA” RECOMMENDED FOR?
We call it “Casetta” because this name is part of our family tradition, started by our grandmother, but it is a charming retreat that we might describe as “rural chic.” It features objects chosen with love, carefully collected, and details crafted by those who have spent happy hours here; we like to imagine guests who appreciate this atmosphere.
The minimum stay we require is X nights. The Prosecco Hills region offers a wealth of experiences to enjoy, whether by car or motorcycle; we’d be happy to help you make the most of your stay, for example by providing professional, multilingual guides, directions, and useful contacts.
