A peaceful haven in the bustling city of Amsterdam


The apartment is located on the third floor of a quiet part of the popular Pijp neighbourhood. It is walking distance from the Albert Cuyp market, and many great eateries and cafés for which this area is known for.

It's an ideal location to discover the city, enjoying the benefits of living the local life but also having a
quick and easy connection to the city center and museum area.

The apartment is located 20 minutes away from the airport, and you will be able to reach the heart of the city in 20 minutes by foot, and even less by public transport. The museum district is 15 minutes away.

Public transport is available nearby and it is also possible to rent bicycles at the end of the street. Boat tours are available from the canal which is right next to the accommodation.

The Space:

The residence occupies a bustling local neighbourhood, adored by visitors and residents alike. It combines easy access to the city with an authentic, laid back vibe.

Spread across 37 square meters and beautifully presented throughout, the private rooms make a luxurious base for a couple. The rooms are stylish, each equipped with attractive fixtures, storage space and contains two single sofas/beds.

You will enjoy your private living quarters including a bathroom/toilet, living room and bedroom, but the entrance to the apartment, and the hallway are shared.

The facilities include internet, Netflix TV, coffee machine, Kettle, a fridge, a microwave and cutlery. There are also many food take away possibilities in the area.

This space is certain to leave a lasting impression, the accommodation ensures an unforgettable stay in the Dutch capital.

Keep in mind that the apartment is located on a third floor without elevator. Typical Amsterdam staircases are steep and sometimes daunting for first time visitors.


The apartment is suited for 2 persons, with the possibility to turn one or both of the living room couches into sleeper sofas if needed, on request. This must be agreed upon prior to the booking.

The apartment is fully non-smoker, and a wholly non suitable place for parties, or loud get togethers, as it is located in a very quiet neighbourhood!

We ask our guests to be mindful of our neighbours and respect the house rules. Please bear this in mind when you book. And do not hesitate to ask if you have any uncertainties. This is most important to us.

Location very easy to get to from the airport. Quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of central. The host was easy to contact and make arrangements. Helped us with our luggage of the stairs.

Julien has a lovely home that is quiet, private, and spacious. Walking distance to restaurants and cafes, as well as public transportation. We loved staying here as it was a bit removed from the busy city center, but close enough to easily get anywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend, and would stay here again!

The best part of this accommodation is the neighbourhood and the host. Julian was very helpful, give lots of suggestions, and communicate communicated very promptly. You can tell he wants his guest to have a good experience. The neighbourhood is fantastic, within walking distance to the metro, grocery stores, and amazing restaurants, wine bars, and cafés. The apartment is very clean and spacious with lots of light. We had a lovely time at Julian‘s place.

The location is perfect for travelers looking to stay close to the action of Amsterdam in a quiet and comfortable neighborhood. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby and the Metro is a short walk away. Julien was a great host and he greeted us, helped carry our bags after a long day of travel and shared local recommendations when we arrived.

The apartment was great and Julien was a very responsive and friendly host! The apartment was very clean and well maintained, and it was the perfect size for a few nights stay. The neighbourhood was super walkable/bikeable and transit friendly. Lots of shops, restaurants and things to do near by. Julien met us for check in and explained everything very clearly. He even offered us some suggestions of things going on in the city throughout our stay. Overall, we had a great stay and I would stay at this apartment again when visiting Amsterdam.

The host Julien was so welcoming and accommodating. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It made our stay even more enjoyable. The apartment was clean, cozy, and fit our needs perfectly. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk to a lot of good restaurants. We would love to come back again!

Julien was a wonderful host from the start! helped us with our bags and gave recommendations on where to go in the neighborhood. Will mention that it is up 3 flights of stairs so if you are disabled it may not be a fit. Overall was incredible location in De Pijp to explore Amsterdam while living like a local. Highly recommend!

One of the best short-term stays we've experienced in decades of travel! Julien's home is tastefully decorated with many small touches which make you feel welcomed and at ease. Exceedingly clean, well-stocked dish and flatware, ample towels and linens. Separate toilet and shower rooms offer privacy for multiple guests at the same time.Fantastic location in a very quiet neighborhood with many excellent cafes and restaurants nearby (try some of the host's suggestions!). Just a short walk to public transportation and the many sites of Amsterdam.Our host met us at check-in and provided an overview of the home and amenities. He was always available for questions and responded quickly. His suggestions and detailed answers to our queries made the stay so much more enjoyable.Truly, one of the most stylish and enjoyable rentals we've stayed at in years in a wonderful neighborhood with a great host. Couldn't ask for more, you will not be disappointed!

Julian greeted us as we exited the Uber and graciously carried both of our suitcases up the three flights of stairs. The apartment is well equipped, very clean, comfortable bed, and a very quiet neighborhood. The neighborhood is walking distance to lots of restaurants. We did not use Metro, but used Uber over to the Anne Frank house and also took a tour to visit the little villages of Amsterdam. Julian was responsive, left excellent instructions and tips for the neighborhood and made us feel right at home. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and if you’re trying to decide, choose this place, and you will have no regrets.

Convenient, quiet, clean

We really enjoyed our stay in de Pijp. The suite is very pleasant and clean and Julien is very responsive. A short walk to the metro, lots of great places to eat. Handy by metro to the tourist sites while not being in a touristy area. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay

We really loved our stay at Julien’s place. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful but just minutes from the excitement of De Pijp. Also easy to get around from here. Julien was super helpful with check-in and recommendations. Highly recommend!

We can’t say enough about Julian. Communication was stellar, he greeted us and helped us up the stairs with our bags, gave great suggestions and you can tell he really loves Amsterdam. The BnB was immaculate and had everything we needed. Short walk to tram 12 and markets. Neighbors were very friendly and we even saved a cat!We WILL stay here on our next visit !!

Wonderful apartment!

We loved staying at Julien’s place. Very clean and luxurious linens. Bright and welcoming space. Perfect for a couple. Communication was excellent. Julien is a great host! He even carried our luggage up to the third floor! Thanks for everything, Julien! Would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

Exactly as advertised, wonderful and helpful host, and in a fantastic location. Easy to navigate for both walking and catching an Uber. Some construction nearby but was not an issue for us. Very comfortable bed, king size was important to us. Steps weren’t an issue and host was gracious enough to carry our live up for us. Tons of walkable shops, restaurants, markets, and so much more. Highly recommend!
