This place is SO convenient to everything in Vail and Lion's Head. We really enjoyed walking to both towns. The pool and hot tub were very nice and well kept. With fans we stayed cool in the heat of the summer. The host service was very responsive and easy to reach. The apartment is large and having 2 bathrooms was a luxury.

Great location. Condo is older but well kept up. Only complaint is that one of the two showers did not work at all. Definitely one of the best buys if you want to be able to walk to the lifts and restaurants

Great stay and even better hosts

The unit itself is as advertised. It is slightly on the older side but was very comfortable and well stocked. Parking was easy and accessible to everything in town. What made the difference for me was the ease, responsiveness and accommodation of SKyRun management, Athena was fantastic to us. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay for couples in Vail at a great price!

We attend the Vail Dance Festival annually with friends. This condo location makes is super easy to get there -- a quick hop on the bus steps outside of the pool area. We arrived early and the company was super helpful letting me, the only non-bike rider, in early. We love the pool and hot tub. Super lovely!

The bathrooms have mold in the caulking and the unit is very old with outdated appliances. It took some troubleshooting to get the dishwasher to work the first time. Additionally, the host told us we had to trip the breakers to get the air temp under control because the thermostat was set to 60 but the heaters were still running. Only come here if you have a Max 4 adults becasue the couch would have been way too uncomfortable if we had more people.

Sky Run did a great job handling our issues, especially Athena. Unfortunately, they should do a better job vetting the properties they represent. The shower in one bath did not work, but Athena made sure it was fixed that day. Mold in tubs and showers was present. Windows cracked and some sliding doors inoperable. Electric power to one side of master bed did not function properly, which I did not realize was the cause of phone not charging and bedside lamp fading. TV remote had “critically low battery” and was not fully functional. The condo is old and dated and requires more attention than it has been given. Fortunately it is Vail and lots to do outside of condo. Okay for brief visit but we would not return to this unit.

The room was incredibly dated but clean. Outside of the ripped sofa and dead batteries in the remotes it was in mostly good condition. It was very quiet and in a great location. One parking space provided with an extra parking space available for 25 a day which was nice. The hot tub and fitness space were nice. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of extra bedding. Host was reaponsive to pre-booking questions. Stair and elevator access with luggage carts was helpful after a surgery at Vail hospital. I would stay here again.

Condo is in great location. 5 to 10 minute walk to Lionshead Village and 5 minute walk to bus stop for a short ride to Vail Village. Overall condo is fine but bathrooms need renovation. Dated, stained grout, and very small.

Poor Value

First time in Vail and realize everything is expensive. Perhaps it is a good value for Vail but at the price we paid we found it to be a horrible value. When paying these prices expect to be ski in-ski out and/or larger and well appointed. Unit is small and needs some serious updating, especially the bathrooms. The second bedroom was dark and second bath insanely tiny. Unit served the purpose but will never be back to Vail. Much better value in Europe.

Very dated, spotty wifi, and cold shower

Very dated property. The location is good, but for the price we paid, it definitely needs an upgrade. The worst part was the spotty wifi (often did not work) and the showers. After a full day skiing, all you want is a hot shower. Unfortunately, the main shower's hottest temp was cold /lukewarm, and the other shower had the worst water pressure. We did reach out to the property manager, but they said there was nothing they could do about it.

Thank you for your review Melissa. Isn't the location just awesome?! We sent your feedback to the owner for consideration and this is update... We discovered that someone had turned the thermostat down on the top element which affected the temperature to the showers. This has been corrected. Also, the shower head has also been replaced so the water pressure is perfect. In addition the WIFI has been addressed. With all these items addresses we hope to impress you next time.

Very disapointed

The pictures do not show the truth. The condo is in a terrible condition. Everything is falling apart. The beds are horrible. The bathroom/showers are old, broken tiles and have fungus. The price is extremely expensive for this old place. VRBO should not allow this time of hoax. We felt totaly cheated.

Great location, condo pretty good

The condo is in a great location, can walk to everywhere or take the free shuttle to Vail Village. Right next to the hockey arena which is fun to stop in and watch a game. The condo is fine but could use some fresh paint and updating, especially for the price they are charging. The kitchen is well stocked but needs new pots, pans, toaster, etc. everything is just really old. The biggest issue we had was that the water in the shower would not get hot, only lukewarm so that is something they need to address. Hot tub is good, it's a bit of a trek from the unit so be prepared to walk in the cold a bit to get to it. Communication with the host was good. Would come back to the condo if they fixed the showers and updated the condo a bit.
