Brian was a wonderful guest. They loved the house and loved that they could watch the Blue Angels right from the yard (our neighborhood has great viewing for the Air Show). We are thrilled that Brian will be staying with us again soon!

John and his family were excellent guests! Communication was great, they let us know right away that they were having a wonderful stay. That is always so considerate. They followed the house rules to a tee and left our home very tidy. I recommend John as a guest to other hosts, and can't wait for their stay with us.

Jean and her friends were just wonderful guests! It was so fun to get to meet them when they arrived and I am glad they had such a great time and that they will be back again soon.

I rarely need to respond to a review in this manner, but she has left this review is a strange attempt to not pay fees that she still owes us. Mary left our home in a filthy horrible mess. In 37 years of hosting short term rental she was among the worst. She brought in two animals without our knowledge that were then left unattended in our home by Mary. It took 2 people working almost 40 hours to try to save our rugs and furnishings. The bathroom was like a bio hazard. The guests immediately before Mary left us a full five star review for everything including cleanliness. We also have approx. 130 photos taken just hours before her check in showing the house was spotless for her arrival. Mary also let her dogs leave urine and feces on our neighbors lawn, killing their grass, sneaking them into our neighbors yard because she was trying to conceal these animals from our caretakers view from across the street because she did not notify us or pay our pet fee. Her white Great Dane destroyed a custom made bedding set that she used as a dog bed! This woman knows that we have banned her from even ever setting foot on our property again, she was notified of that in writing before she submitted this review. I would never let her stay again and I absolutely would never recommend her as a guest to other hosts. She caused us and others a great deal of money, and stress. We have full photos of the home perfectly clean before, and the awful mess Mary left available upon request.

I was just great having Betsy and her party stay with us, communication was great and hey left our home very clean. I am looking forward to their next stay with us!

Scott and Dawn were great guests. They hosted a wonderful family celebration for their father and sent us this note to let us know they had a great time "Back home safe and sound in Kentucky, thanks again for such a wonderful stay! We will be sure to give you a 5 star review, your home and hospitality was perfect for an amazing weekend celebrating our family. Thank you for everything!" . Somehow a "glitch" caused their star rating to be entered as only 4 stars. This has been very frustrating for both host and guest. Scott has given us permission to to add this message " Holy hat! Not sure what happened here, I did leave a 5 star review?? Checking now...will correct immediately! I am so sorry for any confusion. I'm am on hold with VRBO right now trying to find out what happened with the 5 stars I selected for each category" hopefully they will help Scott with this. I recommend Scott and his guests to other hosts. It is great to have guests that are so considerate. We can't wait for their next visit.

Steve and his family were terrific guests! We are so happy their stay was so perfect and that they loved our home. A+

It was just great having Arlene and Alan as guests in our home. Wow is all I can say, they left our home so clean you barely knew anyone had been there at all, communication was terrific, and we are so happy they had a wonderful time in La Crosse and enjoyed their stay in our home so much. I hope they stay with us again soon, I also highly recommend Arlene and her choice of any guests to all hosts!

Michael and his wife were just wonderful guests. They let us know right away how much they loved the house and they left our home very tidy. Michael sent me a lovely picture of the brilliant light streaming through our ruby glass door. Michael is a very thoughtful and enjoyable guest. We recommend Michael as a guest for other hosts and look forward to their next stay with us. We are so glad they had such a lovely stay for their special anniversary.

Colleen and her party were great guests and left the home very tidy. She sent us a very nice note to let us know how much they enjoyed the house, and also left me a hand written thank you note. Very considerate and very friendly and I look forward to her next visit with us.

Nicholas was a good guest, and we did a lot of extra yard work outside early to make it special for an event they decided to hold, and we were so glad it went so well and that everybody loved it. Nick sent me the messages "Everything is great on our end." and "We love this home!" during their stay, and told us everything was wonderful when they left, and they said in their review that they will be staying again, so I am unsure why it was only 4 stars, I wonder if it was that window glitch that cuts off some of the rating categories? That has been mentioned to me by several guests, and it has done that on my end too. I know there should be five so I look for the missing one, but some didn't know that. That is very frustrating, but Nick and Kathy were wonderful guests, I recommend them to other hosts, and I can't wait for their next visit.

Joshua was a wonderful guest, and he left our home so tidy you would hardly know someone was there. I am so glad he enjoyed everything about the house and the neighborhood and I hope he will stay with us again soon! 5 stars guests all the way!!!

We did not hear from Beth during her stay, but she left me a message saying "We very much enjoyed or stay!" and "Thank you so much for your hospitality!" Beth and her husband came on the air show weekend. We had back to back guests but were trying to give her a last minute early check in she requested, and apparently a neighbors air show party guests had come up on our porch after I had cleaned it and left a couple beer cans behind, maybe because it was so very hot and we have a wonderful ceiling fan there, but I did not hear them, so I had no knowledge of that. I wish Beth let us know, I certainly would have been right back over to remove the cans, Beth told me no worries, but gave us only 4 .stars. We do our absolute very best to make sure everything is perfect for our guests, we just had no idea someone would ever do that.
