I’m sorry that you were not completely pleased with your stay. We would have had someone come right out to look at the hot tub had you called us and told us that it didn’t smell good. The water had been tested and chemicals added that morning. It may have been the cover that smelled so we treated it. The cabin does sit on a private road which may encounter a few vehicles per day. There are only 3 cabins beyond this one so traffic is not typically an issue. This cabin always gets great reviews and has many many return customers. I’m surprised at this review from this guest as they left a review elsewhere with 4 of 5 stars and said that the cabin was clean and cozy. They never mentioned anything about the road or hot tub.

Regarding the hot tub, there are specific instructions that explain the overlay on the control panel, including the backwards button. Rest assured, there are no safety concerns with using the hot tub, and a building between the two cabins provides added privacy for guests. We agree that caution is always important when walking a pet near a road. However, there are safe areas both in front of and behind the cabin where pets can be walked without concern.
