Didn't want to write a review and share our secret but....

This was our seventh (7th) stay at Inchlonaig amd definately will not be our last. We consider this place our Scotland home and have visted as an extended family on many occasions and an immediate family. The house is always extremely clean, always comfortable (especially the beds), always welcoming and Sarah has literally thought of everything a family could need during their stay. Living a stones throw away from the beach, in a beautiful, scenic, peaceful, part of Scotland - bliss! I will add; if you enjoy everything on hand- variety of shops, pubs/bars, cafes/restaurants, activities, then this area is not the place to stay. If you enjoy a rural location in a very small quiet location - one convenience shop, one sandwich/take away shop, one cafe come restaurant and nothing really else going on this is a good spot.

We had a lovely family holiday and were really impressed with the standard of the property - definitely one of the best we've stayed in. It was very well equipped and very spacious. The wine and shortbread were a nice touch too.

Another Fabulous Stay!

This was our second time staying at Inchlonaig House. We are a 3 generational family party and we enjoyed everything about our stay. Inchlonaig is a very clean, comfortable, spacious, warm and well equipped house. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and using it as a base to explore Galloway. Lovely week at Inchlonaig House

Inchlonaig House proved a great base for a week in Galloway. Spacious and comfortable, the house was well equipped and in a good position with views of the sea. Sarah’s pre-arrival instructions were comprehensive and helpful and we didn’t need to contact her during our stay. Sunny weather for most of the week made for a most enjoyable holiday!

Fabulous views

A very welcoming house, spotless and comfortable. Beautifully laid out for family living. With the beach a stones throw away the views really were breath taking. Not anything to do in the town itself but great base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway.

Our 2nd stay at Inchlonaig House.

A well maintained house in a lovely position on the outskirts of Portwilliam. Everything in the house was high quality and spotlessly clean. Sarah was very helpful and allowed our dogs to stay with us - they had a great time on the beach!

Scottish retreat

Yet again an excellent family holiday, despite the gales. The house is large enough to accommodate the whole family comfortably. A lovely quiet location but within easy reach of activities for both children and adults. This was our third stay we hope to return. Many thanks Sarah.

We had a lovely, relaxing break at Inchlonaig. It’s a beautiful house in a quiet and relaxing location and fully equipped with all you need. A great base to explore Galloway. We had some lovely weather and the location of the house so near to the sea was just lovely. We would definitely stay here again should we visit this area in the future!

Another lovely stay at Inchlonaig House

This was our 4th stay at Inchlonaig House, the first being 10 years ago. The house is very well located for family that we have in the area and equally well positioned for visits to the Galloway Park and the Mull of Galloway. The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable and Sarah is a very helpful and responsive host. Highly recommended if you are looking to stay in this beautiful part of Scotland.

Outstanding

We stayed here for a long weekend with our whole family (7 adults 3 kids) and we couldn't believe how lucky we were to be staying in such a beautiful house in an equally beautiful location. Sarah was absolutely amazing and so helpful, the book with all the house and local information was brilliant. I would (and already have!) recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place for the family to gather, right on the beach, perfection. Thank you for having us! We will absolutely be booking in again.
