I was so excited about this place. It looks great online and in the pictures but the reality is very different. The room wasn't clean @check in. My check in time was clearly communicated and I was not early. So many problems with the apartment that became MY problem to deal with. Mold on all walls in shower. Mold in fridge and fridge needed replacement. Some windows did not open, blinds were broken, only a sheet on the bed. I found a blanket on the closet floor that smelled so I had to wash it the first night. Doing laundry for my vacation home was not part of the plan nor was managing the problems of the apartment. I wanted to be there while strangers were working in the apartment and I also needed to be there to explain the problems to make sure they were rectified. Numerous lights out and not the "bright" place as described. Bath drawers broken and metal wire exposed and could cut . Microwave didn't work. There was standing water on a cabinet because of a leak that occurred in the unit. I showed the technicians who came to fix things and he told me "old building". No plans to fix the water intrusion. Door lock broke on door, wouldn't even close on my last day and I had to relocate. HUGE inconvenience and a losy way to spend final day in Florence. The management was insulting and patronizing and I spent over 6 hours of my vacation time over days with the technicians in the apartment and on the phone with VRBO and management. Host took days to respond.
