Outside your door, Penrhos Park is brimming with things to do. Golfers can enjoy the beautifully kept 18-hole course, while tennis lovers can use the outdoor courts. There are endless trails for walkers, and leisure facilities for those who’d prefer a gentler pace - think relaxing swims or time well spent in the clubhouse. Whether you’re in the mood for activity or calm, the park caters to both. And when it’s time to explore, you’re just moments from some of West Wales’s best-loved coastal gems.

Wander the colourful harbour town of Aberaeron, enjoy seafood and ice cream by the sea in New Quay, or explore the culture and history of Aberystwyth with its promenade, castle ruins and independent shops. Don’t miss a walk along the Ceredigion Coast Path or a visit to the local dolphin-spotting hotspots. With the beach within three miles and the countryside in every direction, you’ll be spoiled for choice. Whether it’s a short break or a longer retreat, Hillfort Lodge offers the perfect blend of comfort, location and laid-back living.
