Are you looking for a special place to unwind, with luxury, a trendy interior, and wellness in a green setting? Then you have come to the right place. The 'Houten Boshuis' has recently been built and is made of cedar wood. It is the sister of the 'Betonnen Boshuis' and 'Stalen Boshuis' and is located in a wooded area near Breda. From home, you can enjoy lovely walks and bike rides. The owners have a passion for spatial design and art. The architecture and interior design make use of wood, concrete, and glass, combined with modern comfort. The result is surprising and unique, harmonizing with the rural surroundings.
The 'Houten Boshuis' is located on the Bergvliet estate, which also features an 18-hole golf course and the new luxury spa-wellness resort Spa One. The house is not part of the recreation park Bergvliet villas, but is a private home situated on a different section of the estate. The large windows provide a beautiful view of the spacious terrace with a covered hot tub. From the house, you can enjoy lovely walking and cycling routes through the Vrachelse heath. The golf course also has a restaurant where you can go for drinks, lunch, or dinner. Want to explore the area? The gastronomic city of Breda is about a 10-minute drive away, and the Efteling amusement park or a boat trip in the National Park de Biesbosch are also nearby.

Holiday home layout

 

The spacious property is entirely on one level, without thresholds, and features a seamless poured floor with underfloor heating throughout. The entrance hall includes a wardrobe area and a separate toilet. The living room is stylishly furnished with modern furniture, including a lounge sofa, fireplace (firewood available for an additional charge), widescreen TV, and a sound system (with music channels and the option to stream music via smartphone). The living room is also equipped with air conditioning. 

A full-length glass façade allows plenty of natural light into the living area. On pleasant days, the doors can be opened, providing direct access to the terrace. The terrace is furnished with a concrete dining table, chairs, and two sun loungers. 



The open-plan kitchen features a large worktop, ceramic hob, dishwasher, large refrigerator, small freezer, oven, Nespresso machine (please bring your own capsules), and a Quooker boiling-water tap. A wooden dining table with four chairs is provided. The front terrace is adjacent to the kitchen, and here too the sliding doors can be opened. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the morning sunshine, with two chairs available for your comfort. 



The first bedroom is equipped with a double bed, safe, and air conditioning. It also has an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in rain shower, double washbasin, and toilet. 



The second bedroom is accessible via the terrace and is located in a separate building. It features twin beds (single mattresses and duvets) and ample hanging and storage space for your clothing. This bedroom is also equipped with air conditioning. The en-suite bathroom includes a walk-in rain shower, double washbasin, and toilet. Between the living room and the second bedroom, there is a covered area with a high table and chairs, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a drink.  The property also has a practical storage room equipped with a freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, and ironing board. 



The hot tub is located on a covered terrace and must be filled with water by guests upon arrival. Firewood is available (for an additional charge) to heat the hot tub. Please note that the hot tub cannot be used during periods of frost.

Parking is available by the house.

There is a charging point for electric cars in the general parking area of the Bergvliet estate.

The house is located in a wooded area, allowing you to experience nature up close. It is equipped with all possible luxuries, but mother nature also provides sounds from the forest, insects in or around the house, and grass blades between the tiles.

Children are welcome, however, there are no facilities for children (no toys or children's dishes, no crib and high chair).

Due to the peace and quiet, the house is not rented to young people. 

Next to the Wooden Forest House lies the Stalen Boshuis and the Betonnen Boshuis. Each house is on its own plot and accommodates 4 people. The houses are not part of the recreation park Bergvlietvilla’s.
