How bad was it? Upon arrival the stove top did not function; leaks from the shower pan onto floor due to bad caulking . Furthermore the toilet did not flush; we had to improvise and use a large pot filled with water to flush it. Guest ready was made aware of these issues, stove top at the arrival and the bathroom the day after. We waited 4 days for someone to come and address the issues. The toilet was repaired but neither the leaks in the bathroom, nor the seeping water from the shower stall. Guest was NOT Ready, it left a negative memory from our stay in Moisteros,

: A very lovely, beautifully furnished house. The location is excellent and quiet. The garden is large, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side so we didn’t get to use it. The shower isn’t watertight and we had to mop up every time after a shower. The day before we left, we were told that check-out was at 8:00 am, that the cleaner would be coming then, and that we were expected to have left by then. When we booked, it was 11:00 am. We wanted to have a leisurely breakfast and then pack. I sent a message but received no reply. We were anything but relaxed and spent the whole time expecting the cleaner to turn up in the kitchen at any moment. In the end, we left at 10:00 am and nobody came.

A perfect stay in Mosteiros. The house is very spacious and equipped with everything you need: a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and a fully fitted kitchen. There is also a terrace and a very large garden. It is located in Moscoitos, just a few metres from the natural pools and practically right by the sea (you just have to cross the road). It has private parking. Perfect for total relaxation and the peace of a small village far from the noise of the bigger ‘cities’. Make sure you plan ahead as there are few restaurants in the area and just one mini-market. We always had dinner at home given the kitchen facilities. For the price paid, I must say it was excellent value for money. The owners were extremely helpful – we never met them in person (self-check-in and -out) but they were always available via messages. If I had to find a single fault: the shower tray leaks and floods the bathroom. Nothing that can’t be sorted with a mop. It doesn’t affect the rating, which is top marks.

The house is spacious and well furnished, garden, roof terrace, barbecue facilities The house is run and managed by an agency. At the agreed arrival time, the house was still being hastily "cleaned". There were no wine glasses or other glasses suitable for drinking wine. There were brand new embroidered towels that could not be used without a first wash. The complaints were discussed by email - but not resolved. This is what happens when the agencies are indifferent to the interests of the guests and the owners.
