Dear Angela, Thank you so much for all your wonderful and positive comments. Responding in a timely manner to our guests is our first priority . We do take pride in our cleanliness and I am glad you guys could spread out and enjoy the privacy that this house offers to a larger group of people due to its spaciousness. We apologize for “overstocked” kitchen cabinets. We want to make sure our guests have everything they need and have many options. We will make sure there is enough pantry space for our next extended guest to put their own stuff. I am glad you enjoyed the brand new swim SPA. We made sure it is delivered while you were in the house, so you can enjoy it during your one month stay. We have a very friendly and kind neighbors. They are mostly elderly and like to talk to nice people like you. We have never had any unpleasant experience with ANY of our neighbors. It seems that the house being spacious enough for all of you to spread out, the quiet neighborhood, the amenities and location, they are all admired and loved by you, so I am not still sure what the difficulty was for an extended stay. These are all great indications that this house is suitable for both extended and shorter stay Thanks for all your nice comments about our house, unique setting and gorgeous views. We overall appreciate you guys and it was a pleasure to have you and your group as our guests. Again, thank you for all the good words.

Unfortunately this guest did not respect the rules of this house. She did not want to pay for visitors and she did not read the listing clearly because we have mentioned that the host lives on a separate unit upstairs. We take pride in our house and its cleanliness and its beauty and all of reviews attest to that. I also did not allow her to put a banner in front of the house because our HOA does not allow that, so I am sorry that she was upset. The guest left the front door open upon departure even though we request all guests to lock the doors when they leave. She refused to communicate during her stay. All the small and big towels are in a central closet and she must have missed them even though we gave her group a very comprehensive tour of the house. Overall this guest was not a clean guest as she left a mess in the house and I am sorry that she did not like this beautiful and clean home with everything that it has to offer.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you were not able to see anything positive while you stayed in the house . First: Response to your comments Second: some Feedback to improve as a guest because this is a mutual relationship. Rest assured that cleaning is our number 1 priority. Everything is Inspected before guest arrival. 1- All the bedding and sheets and towels are clean and fresh 2- All kitchen and kitchen equipment are clean inside out 3- All sitting and eating areas, tables and couches and chairs are clean and no dust 4- All floors and walls are clean 5 - and so on We have both fake flowers and real orchids in the house and we try to dust the fake flowers regularly as well as the whole house. So far, all the guests have loved what we put in fridge for them. All the condiments in frig are good and usable. They are put there for our guest's convenience and use. This is to do our guest a favor so they don't have to go and spend money and buy Ketchup , mustard, Wrapped and un-expired cheese, different types of sauce, BBQ, ….Salad dressings,… and many other condiments. This is just like providing you with all the spices, so you don't have to go and buy. This is a very spacious frig, and you had plenty of room to put your food there. Now feedback for the guest We thrive on our guest’s happiness, appreciation and good use of the house, positive attitude and Constructive and sincere feedback. This was not the case for this guest due to these issues: 1-Did not respect and abide by the rules This guest did not respect the check in time rule and insisted to come in 4 hours earlier, at 12 noon, put the luggages and get a tour because she has no time later. I had a guest checking out that day, so I told her I can not give her a tour since I will be cleaning, but she was not happy and she kept insisting. Luckily the guest left earlier and I was able to clean partially and have her come at 12 noon and finish the cleaning later. 2-Acted very entitled and demanding She kept saying and writing on several occasions, that she has paid so much money for the house and she is not even going to use it, and just comes to sleep. She was not a happy person overall and she kept saying that she demands perfection for that kind money. That was her attitude from the beginning. 3-No communication at all during stay 4-Damaging an artwork and denying it 5-Fault finder and not sincere with her comments about the property 6-Not clean Even with minimal use, she left a mess She did not even clean and left food everywhere on the table and on kitchen counters.

Hello Mark, Thank you for staying and I am glad you had a great time and thank you for comments: There is no single bed advertised in the master bed, just a king bed. That is just a couch and it clearly shows in the picture. No one should sleep on it. Please refer to the listing and descriptions on bedrooms. It is as advertised. In order to operate the master shower jets, hand shower and overhead shower, you need to turn the control nob, and We have been showing all of our guests how to operate them. I am sorry that you missed that introduction. The freezer door is heavy and we also instruct our guests to open and close them with a little force. We try to de-ice it as many time as possible so it will open and close easier. Thanks again for comments and for choosing our home to stay.

Hello Jeffrey and thank you for the nice review. -This house is 15 years old, so it is newer than almost all the houses in the neighborhood. -We have many towels and plenty of Lenin and blankets all over the house more than our guests ever need. Of course, excessive washing and cleaning does ware out the linens, but we make sure we have both old and new ones out and if they are not stained or have a tear or holes, we keep using them as they get softer and more comfortable through time. Cleaning and sanitization come first for us for everything. - Pillows are also examined on a regular basis and washed and air dried. -The chandelier over the kitchen table is not in the center, but it is in a safe place. Sorry that your sister hit her head. You did tell me that your sister broke a piece of it, and I agreed to replace it on my own expense. -As far as us living upstairs on a separate unit, it is clearly explained in the listing, and I also reminded you of it. We have a door on top of the stairs that separates our unit from the rest of the house and downstairs. The curtain is just to separate the indoor stairs from the rest of the house, as it is a private area and we do not want our guests to have access to the stairs. We are very mindful of our guests and are very quiet when we are home. The entire house is private to the guests. Thanks again for choosing our house.

Hello dear Betty, Thank you for your wonderful review and all the beautiful comments you wrote describing our home. This house is like a mansion but at the same time roomy and comfortable. I do put towels in a central location because the house is big and spread out and it is easier for guests just to go to one place and get towels instead of going from room to room. I dont know how many guests will stay in each room so I can put enough towels there and that is why I put them in a central location and give tours and show people where everything is. I do have both china dishes and casual dishes. I have tried to make this place suitable for every type of guest, for those who want to have a fancy dinner with fancy table set up or for casual ones. I am very transparent and upfront with all my rules and I have explained everything in detail on the website. Visitors are not allowed in the house unless they are authorized and paid for. It is also mentioned on the website very clearly that only up to 8 people are allowed with the nightly fee advertised. Extra guests over 8, need to pay extra per night. I expect all guests to read the website carefully and accept and acknowledge all the rules before booking, so they dont get surprised when we remind them about the rules. I have had only two ratings that are lower than what I had expected so far and they are both due to the guests not reading or missing the rules that has been communicated clearly on the website. We expect all guest to read, acknowledge and abide by the rules prior to booking and during their stay. I enjoyed reading your comments about the house and the host and I hope you have had a wonderful time with family.
