Inside, you'll find a classic interior that oozes charm and warmth. The Lodge is divided into zones that provide both space for community and private moments. Here you can enjoy social gatherings in the living room, or retreat to one of the five bedrooms, the loft or the daybed for some alone time.

The outdoor area around the Lodge is just as inviting as the inside. Here you can breathe fresh mountain air deep into your lungs while exploring the area's nature. With no neighbors nearby, there's no one to disturb the peaceful atmosphere.

The area offers a wealth of activities. Embark on exciting discovery tours on the miles of ski trails, cycle along scenic routes or try your luck at fishing in local waters. With all this within easy reach, your stay at Synnfjellet will be a memorable affair.

We are a family of five, and Digrebu is our heart place.
It started as a dream - a real Norwegian Mountains Lodge high in the mountains of Synnfjell, where we could disconnect from the rush of everyday life and reconnect with each other and with nature. At 900 meters above sea level, surrounded by forest, trails and open sky, we found exactly that.
We built this place for our family. For ski days that end with the whole family crowded around the fireplace. For summer mornings where the children run straight out the door into the mountains. For autumn evenings picking cloudberries and watching the hillside turn gold. For those long winter nights in the sauna, stepping out under a sky impossibly full of stars.
We are five people who love nature deeply - and Digrebu reflects that love in every corner.
This lodge is not just a rental property to us. It is where we celebrate birthdays and holidays. It is where we slow down. It is where our best family memories live. We come here as often as we possibly can, across every season, because no two visits are ever quite the same.
But a place this special deserves to be shared.
When we are not here ourselves, we open Digrebu to guests who appreciate what we have built - people who love the outdoors, who value quality, who understand that a great hytte stay is about more than just a roof over your head. It is about feeling, even for a few days, that this mountain is yours.

Why Synnfjell and Why Digrebu
People sometimes ask us: why here? Norway has no shortage of beautiful mountains. So why Synnfjell? Why this particular hillside at 900 meters, at the end of a road that feels like it leads to the edge of the world?
The answer is simple. This place chose us.
The first time we drove up through the valley and the landscape opened up around us, something shifted. The mountains here are not dramatic in the way that demands attention. They are quieter. Wider. The kind of nature that does not perform — it just exists, beautifully, and invites you to do the same.
Synnfjell sits in the great inland heart of Norway — wild enough to feel genuinely remote, yet just two and a half hours from Oslo. The sky is bigger here. The silence has texture. On a clear winter night, the stars are almost too many to look at.
What makes this area special is that it has remained itself. Not overdeveloped. Not overrun. The trails are real mountain trails. The forest is deep and old. In summer you can hike for hours and meet almost no one. In winter you ski out from the front door and the mountain feels entirely yours.
We are a family that loves nature - not as a backdrop, but as the whole point. Synnfjell gives us that across every season.

What Makes Digrebu Truly Unique
There are many Mountains Lodge in the Norwegian mountains. There is only one Digrebu.
This is a genuine Norwegian fjellhytte (Mountains Lodge) - heavy timber, two real fireplaces, honest materials — not a modern apartment dressed in rustic clothing. You feel the difference the moment you walk through the door.
Few Mountains Lodge in Synnfjell offer true ski-in, ski-out access. Digrebu does. The slopes are not nearby — they are at your door. Finish your last run and you are home, sauna already warming up.
Six bedrooms sleep 16 guests across 190 square meters. Large enough for everyone. Warm enough to still feel like a home, not a hotel.
Two fireplaces. A proper Norwegian sauna. An OFYR and Espegard fire pit outside. Every element serves a purpose — together they create something most Mountains Lodge simply cannot match.
Digrebu belongs to all four seasons equally. Winter skiing and starlit sauna evenings. Spring ski touring on open terrain. Summer hiking, fishing and long evenings at the grill. Autumn colours and the first fires of the season.
At 900 meters, the air is cleaner, the snow more reliable, the light more vivid. Guests arrive tired and leave restored.
