This was an excellent home base for our weeklong stay in Kauai.The home was well stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation and we had no surprises from the listing.We did have a problem with one of the bathrooms, but the host was on top of it and responded quickly (5 minutes).I would not hesitate to recommend this Unit or the Waipouli Beach Resort. Centrally located ton activities and shopping. We spent a lot of time in the downtown area with the many local businesses.The highlight was a Monk Seal that appeared on the beach the first night. Oasis, the restaurant, is a must and their ceviche is top tier.

We staycationed here during my daughter's fall break. Although we've lived on Kauai for 20 years we had never enjoyed staying at the Waipouli property. My bestie and our tween daughters had the BEST time during our 4 night stay. The pool, waterslides and hot tubs were all the entertainment they needed!We specifically booked this room because it had a kitchen. My daughter's bff has severe food allergies and so we needed a place with a kitchen that could accommodate us cooking 3 meals/day. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed - nice dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, dishwasher, olive oil, seasonings, etc. Even baking dishes, mixers and a blender.The 2 bathrooms were both impressive - one with a jacuzzi tub and the other with a large soaking tub. The furniture in the unit was comfortable, clean and tasteful.Being on the top floor of the complex was amazing - we could play/swim during the day but enjoy the peaceful quiet away from the ground floor during the evenings. We enjoyed our stay so much we even extended for an extra night.Last thing I'll say is that I'll give 10 stars to the owners in terms of their communication. Every email or message I sent was answered almost immediately before, during and after our stay. We will definitely be staycationing here in the future!

We had a great stay at this beautiful unit. Everything was very clean and well equipped with kitchen supplies, beach supplies and everything for an easy vacation. Host was super helpful and responsive. Thanks so much!

The rental was just as described, with everything that we needed for our stay and an easy check in. The resort was great, although I think "resort" is a bit of a misnomer, as they don't offer many (or any) activities and services that you'd expect from a true resort. But the pool with the waterslides was perfect for our family, and we had no problems getting chairs whenever we went.

I enjoyed the unit very much--our Host--came over to the unit to help with a connection problem on the stove--we were impressed! We found the living room and bedrooms very comfortable and well supplied.

The property is beautiful with a lot of room. We enjoyed having three bathrooms to use. The kitchen is very spacious. The balcony is so nice for our meals. The beds are very comfortable! Access to the beautiful beach is wonderful with the walking path nearby. The pool and spas are great! Priscilla is an excellent communicator! We had a small maintenance problem, and she facilitated it getting taken care of immediately! The resort is a perfect location to head both north or south! We loved Kauai and staying in this VRBO property!

The condo was a great place. We had five of us sleeping there, with plenty of room in the common areas. The kitchen was great, and we made breakfast each day before heading out on our activities. The condo is clean, with nice nice appliances. We made use of the snorkeling gear, boogie board, skim board, beach towels and chair that were in the closet. There were more items as well, like an umbrella, small cooler, etc.A condo in Kapaa is perfect because it's halfway between the north and south sides of the island, and not too far away from the airport.There is a Safeway right across the street, which is perfect for grabbing last minute items. No need to drive to the store, just walk across the street. There are many restaurants within walking distance, which was nice as well. The pool and multiple Jacuzzis are very nice, great for families. The pool includes a small "beach" area for small kids, with sand and shallow water. The real beach is just beyond the pool area, so no need to drive.Overall it's a great spot, highly recommend! We loved our stay there, and would come again to the same condo.

This is our fifth stay at Waipouli, this unit is very nice. Included boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrella and coolers, everything we needed for full days at the beach. The resort is so beautiful, we had a great time. Wonderful communication from host, would definitely stay here again!
