Check in was easy! The house was ready for us do walk right in. Everything was clean! The kitchen is a basic kitchen. Lots of pots and pans and utensils.Great getaway for the family! We enjoyed fishing in the pond every day, all day. Then exploring Chautauqua & Erie beaches.

Secluded getaway

Relaxing

The cabin was beautiful very quiet and relaxing. I would highly recommend for a couple or family. We will plan a trip for next summer for sure!

Beautiful stay at the cabin on the pond

The cabin was perfect, clean and comfortable and owners provided everything we needed. The location is private and serene, with trails to hike and a great deck and fire pit. The location is excellent, 5 minutes to Bemus Point and Lake Chataqua, so easy access to great restaurants and activities. We had a wonderful vacation!

Recent Stay

This is a unique property, incredibly private. The house was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The host was responsive and helpful. Loved the place.

Sweet little getaway

If you’re looking for peace and quiet away from everything this is it. One beautiful place with just enough room out in the woods even has a nice little pond. It would be hard to beat for the price.

Peaceful Getaway

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It was very peaceful and serene. We loved fishing in the pond, playing games, and sitting around the campfire. Thank you Liz for the wonderful accommodations. We would love to return in the future!

Wonderful weekend

Cabin getaway

My family and I stayed here for a few nights. The cabin was absolutely beautiful! My family and i loved the location. Close trip to Niagara falls! The woods around the cabin was beautiful the lake was amazing for fishing and my little guy caught his first fish! Highly recommended staying here and the host was always in contact and was great! Will be staying here again.

Nice hideaway in the woods

The cottage is a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of life and mere steps away from all that Chautauqua Lake has to offer. Communication with owners was super easy and access to the property was, likewise, easy. The pond on the property along with the fire pit added to the experience. This is a great place for a getaway. Highly recommend this property if privacy and proximity to Chautauqua lake are what you are looking for.

Quiet private cabin

We really enjoyed our stay and particularly appreciated that the owner allows dogs. The cabin was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed exploring the property, or just sitting on the deck watching the pond. The location was great, since it allowed us to explore the whole Lake Chautauqua area, but we also enjoyed just sitting around the cabin. The owner was very accommodating. Great place.

A great get-away

My friends from college and I have been meeting once a year for almost 20 years to relax, enjoy nature, and recharge our batteries. We had a great time at the cabin, taking advantage of the fire pit, grill, and pond fishing numerous times. Highly recommended!

Eclipse Experience

The property was great! It was a bit muddy (as expected for this area in early April) but the location was beautiful and the house was nice and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and managed to get clear skies for the eclipse without dealing with the traffic. Definitely plan to keep this in mind for future trips.

So relaxing!

We wanted a few days away for both our kids and dogs, and we picked the perfect listing to do so. All of us, dogs included, spent the entire time swimming in the lake. Truly one of the best vacations we have had! So relaxing, and no one around whatsoever. There is a Walmart about 15 minutes away which came in handy!

Great trip

We met my in-laws half way at this property and couldn't have been more pleased. It was just as described and very relaxing. We didn't leave the property the whole trip. We fished every day and walked the trails and picked wild raspberries! Our host was very kin and communicated very well. Thanks for a great memory!

Amazing Private Getaway

This property is so beautiful. The Cabin is clean, spacious, and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The outdoor space is awesome; whether you want to chill on the deck, have a fire in the fire pit, or throw a fishing line in the lake. Our granddaughter caught tons of blue gills, sunny’s and small bass and loved it. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The host Liz was easy to contact and was so helpful when we reached out. We will be booking this property again❤️

Perfect!

Our long weekend stay at this chalet was perfect!! The property was private, quiet, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend! The pond was amazing for some catch and release fishing. Our two furry friends had some off leash training and wore themselves out before sleeping next to our evening fires. I would totally recommend this to anyone looking to get away for a few days!! And Liz (owner) was fabulous with her communication with me when we had any questions!!!

Beautiful private grounds with well equipped cabin near Bemus Point

The house was very clean and ready for us to enjoy several relaxing days near Chautauqua Lake. The location is very private with lots of outdoor seating looking over the pond. A separate pavilion has gas and charcoal grills. Several walking paths lead around the pond and through the woods. Plenty of kitchen equipment and dishes are provided. Dish TV and satellite internet both work well. As the listing clearly states, bring your own drinking water, bedding, and towels.
