Beautiful villa, but very weather-dependentAn excellent villa in a fantastic location, beautifully decorated and boasting incredible views. We loved that the property combines two villas, with a shared outdoor area that can also be separated to give each villa its own private space.Our main concern was the lack of protection from the rain. All the outdoor roofs are slatted, so there is very little shelter when the weather turns. The indoor living space is relatively small, with no dedicated dining area beyond the kitchen island/bar. This may also make the property less suitable for anyone with limited mobility or families with young children and toddlers.The rain left the outdoor kitchens, fire pits and sun loungers soaked. Even when the sun returned, we had to head to the beach while the cushions dried, meaning we couldn’t fully enjoy the beautiful outdoor spaces.The villa is incredible when the weather is good, but even a short spell of rain can significantly limit the experience.On the positive side, the owner was absolutely fantastic: incredibly responsive, helpful with rainy-day suggestions and understanding of our concerns about the outdoor areas.We would definitely consider visiting again, but at a different time of year. A stunning villa with a wonderful owner, best enjoyed when the weather is reliably sunny. October perhaps isn’t the ideal month!
