Lyst sommerhus tæt på strand og Gilleleje

Welcome to a bright and stylish retreat in Smidstrup, where 1990s charm meets modern updates from 2020. Here, the focus is on simple cottage living with plenty of natural light and a superb location just 450 meters from a peaceful, secluded beach. It’s the ideal base for those of you who dream of tranquility, togetherness, and a short walk to the waves of the Kattegat.

Inside, you’ll find an airy kitchen-dining area that flows seamlessly into the living room, inviting you to cook together and enjoy each other’s company. The house is practically laid out with a utility room and a well-maintained bathroom, while the three bedrooms provide space for the whole family: one with a double bed, one with twin beds, and one with a bunk bed, which is perfect for the kids or younger guests.

The garden is a secluded oasis, where the house’s location effectively shields it from the road and eliminates any concerns about traffic noise. Here, you can completely unwind in private surroundings, and since the garden is fenced off from the road, both children and dogs can roam safely and freely. It’s the perfect spot for long afternoons in the sun or a cozy barbecue under the open sky.

The area offers everything from scenic hikes along the Gilbjerg Trail and the hills of Heatherhill to cultural gems like the Tegner Museum and Munkeruphus. You’re just 1 km from grocery shopping, while Gilleleje’s bustling harbor life, fishmongers, and shops are only 5 km away. For the active, there are plenty of opportunities for paddle tennis or a round of golf at the many nearby courses, and in July, you can even experience Meyer’s “World’s Best Picnic” at Udsholt Strand.
