Poor maintenance of the property, one AC unit in LR not working, AC in dining area was blowing warm area the technician had to come next day to repair.A beach house with no beach towels, listed as a 3 bedroom but the MBR was large with two beds so a 2 bedroom with 3 beds!Unit door lock is in poor condition

Lovely property, right on the beach.

We spent a relaxing week in Potrero. Host was responsive to any questions. Rooms were very comfortable. Quiet location and close to grocery stores and great restaurants. Pool is very nice and beachfront location was wonderful.

Where to begin...

1. We booked the place several months in advance (6 mos.), only to be told a month before our reservation that the owner had "promised it" (the first floor) to someone else... although it was clearly available on VRBO. So we were moved to the 3rd floor.2. The 3rd floor unit was extremely spacious but not clean at all (including a lot of long black hair on the flooring). Both showers didn't seemed to have been cleaned for some time and both shower drains were clogged. Not to mention the water pressure in the main shower was really pitiful.3. The pool wasn't clean a day we were there, nor did we ever see anyone attempt to clean it. We even looked for a skimming net to clean it ourselves but couldn't find one. 4. Apparently, the jacuzzi within the pool doesn't and hasn't worked in some time... heat or jets.5. The lot next door was vacant and not well-kept. There was a dog tied to a tree about half the time we were there and - of course, because it was tied up - it was barking quite a bit.The two high points of our stay was the property manager Erwin was very professional and accommodating - considering what he had to work with; and the location was great and within short distance of several beachside and otherwise very close/good restaurants.For anyone that hasn't been to this area before, if you fly in to Liberia and drive to the property be prepared... there are two places on Monkey Trail that are washed out (flowing water) at least 30 feet to cross.

Potrero Beach

I loved the palapa, the pool, the unit and grounds as well as the beach. The kitchen was a little light on equipment and there was an issue with the doors ie they would not stay latched. Specifically the main door to the unit would not lock; this needs to be fixed!

Communication with Erwin was good and the house is lovely and right on the beach! It's not far from things to do, restaurants, shops, etc. My only complaints are that it was billed as 3Br but the third bedroom is outside through a hall with another key. I wanted bedrooms for my kids so they'd sleep better but there is no way I was putting a little kid out there. There was a third bed on the floor in the master which worked well but it just wasn't what was advertised. The maintenance in the house was a little behind, scratches and dings on the walls, and drawers that wouldnt open or shut. Finally, there was no instructions, nothing stocked (like salt, cleaning spray or any condiments) making cooking tricky. I ended up buying those at a nearby store.

Prime Location - beachfront

Potrero Beach is a fabulous location. ''village' is a walk down the beach. A car is necessary to go anywhere else but it's' so great 'living' on the beach. Unit needs a few kitchen accessories which we've advised the owner of but we would definitely stay there again. The resident iguanas added to the tropical experience.

Great Place To Stay!

We’ve had the opportunity to stay on this property twice. Last year (Winter of 2019) we stayed on floor three and this year (Winter of 2020) we stayed on the second floor. Our multi-generational family has enjoyed this property very much. Building and property are well maintained. Easy walking to groceries and restaurants. Excellent beach and pool for swimming. We hope to return in the future.

Beautiful condo very comfortable for four. Spent time on balcony in the pool and on the beach. Would stay here again loved Portrero

We built this buildin in the last 3 years on the beautiful Playa Potrero. Ixel is from Costa Rica and Wolfgang from Austria. We both love the beach and both exercise and jog.
We love to travel and explore other countries in Europe or the USA.

It is a new Luxury Beachfront House. Each of the Villas faces the Beach with beautiful sunsets over the ocean. On the left side facing the sea you see Flamingo.
Straight ahead you will see the islands in a distance of 5 miles.
The beach is quiet but close to all amenities like shops reataurants and bars.

Beachront with beautiful Sunsets. Infinity Pool. Fully air conditioned. Beuatiful furniture and modern kitchens fully equipped to feel at home.
Double glass doors and large verandas lets you choose the cool inside or breezy warm outside
