The nearby market town of Brampton, 10.5 miles away, is home to an excellent range of independent shops, cafés, and eateries, with scenic footpaths and bridleways extending into woodland, farmland, and open moorland. Haltwhistle, known as the geographical centre of Britain, is also easily reached within 7.5 miles.

Private parking is available for two cars. Please note that the cottage is part of a small complex, and dogs must be kept on a lead unless in the designated dog exercise area.
