Beautiful setting and beautiful property. Perfect for our family including young children. Plenty to do at the property and accessible to Huntsville so we were able to go to the Space and Rocket Center, etc. Everyone had a great time. Our host, Lesa, was very friendly and accommodating so that was a big plus as well.

Great property and Location to enjoy the Guntersville area.

Stayed a few days with my family. We enjoyed our ability to keep our boat at the dock. We enjoyed nearby restaurants and fishing. Our host was amazing and had great recomendations!

Great location!

The house was beautiful and roomy enough for our large family. Lesa was very responsive and personally showed us the property and location of all essentials. Will stay here again!

We all had a great time. Views were beautiful, the kiddos had some fun in the lake and we all enjoyed the pool. Five adults, two teens and a nine year old on our trip everyone had comfortable sleeping quarters. We do an annual family trip usually to the beach or the mountains, every one agreed this trip was the best to date!! Lisa, thank you for the opportunity!!

Loved it!

My family enjoyed this setting for sure. So quiet peaceful. We slept comfortably. Lisa was very accomadating.It was closed to so many thing.a mexican restraunt was suggested. The best we have ever been to .Julia"s.wonderful meal.

Amazing view

We loved staying at the house, we had 9 adults and four small children with plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone. Very close to everything and great views. The pool and canoes were used everyday. Lesa was amazing to work with and so accommodating. We look forward to visiting Guntersville again soon.

Perfect Vacation Home for Family

This is a beautiful home and perfect vacation house for a large family. Having the pool is great and ping pong and pool table were fun for everyone--especially on a rainy afternoon! The view of the lake is beautiful and it was nice to have the dock for fishing and to park the boat we rented. Access to the lake is steep and difficult for elderly people but the homeowner is still working to make it better. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Great place.

House is beautiful. Access is a little tricky; narrow unpaved road and steep driveway. Owner is very nice and easy to deal with. Teens loved it. We rented a pontoon boat and a tube one day. Spent a day up at Guntersville State Park and went to cathedral caverns one day. Beautiful lake. Everyone is friendly there. Nicely furnished and equipped.

Summer Family Trip

Location was great. A few issues with doors not closing, broken piece of furniture, needing curtain over master Br door that goes to porch, dryer not turning off. Minor things but for the price everything should be in working order.

Family vacation with

It’s a beautiful location perfect for family and kids of all ages. Lesa the house host was very tentative to all our needs and if we needed anything she would drop it at the front door. The only thing I would say is the in line down to the boat ramp is very steep . 5 stars for sure.I would definitely recommend it

Family vacation Labor Day weekend 2024

Our Hostess,"Lisa" was delightful. The house is a perfect size for the 12 people that we had with us. Younger folks went kayaking and enjoyed that. If you are older with bad knees or hips and still have issues you would definitely want to stay in one of the three bedrooms upstairs on the main level. The kitchen and family room were on this level. My husband and I did go down the stairs to the basement level and pool which was fine. Our family really enjoyed our Labor Day weekend vacation. You and your family should try it sometime. upstairs

For adults

The house was well stocked. Could use a deep cleaning. Lots of webs. Was a deep walk to deck without steps so for if your knees are bad very hard to walk . Kids will not have a yard to run and play. The pool table is small and has missing balls. The paddle boat was broke and full of water. We drained the water out and steering was broke so my grandkids could not use. We also bought 2 cans of wasp spray . The house could use a deep cleaning inside and out. . But was very spacious

I’m so sorry If a few webs came up during the stay being on the lake, we do get a lot of webs . The window cleaning man rescheduled on us also. but I personally dust between every other stay and the house is cleaned top to bottom with me personally overseeing with cleaning help and I make sure it is very clean Yes there is a slope to lake and can understand how someone with knee problems it wouldn't be ideal. the deck is attached to the house and have a front and side yard and middle yard . Will order new pool balls. Again sorry for any inconvenience and will Get these addressed.

Nice but…Stayed Nov 2025 for 5 nights. Property is nice but has some “flaws”. The biggest problem is the mattresses/beds are terrible. All seven guests had terrible sleep every night. Sagging mattresses, springs could be felt, beds creaked every time you move, 2 beds were propped up underneath with bricks and wood. We used 4 of 5 bedrooms, so it was a consistent pattern. The property is very steep. Getting to the lake might be difficult if you have any knee, back or mobility issues. The driveway is very steep and challenging to park vehicles side by side unless they are small cars. There is a beautiful elevated view of the lake. The house is very spacious with an open concept. There is plenty of space to cook and enjoy family time. We saw ducks each morning and a bald eagle one day. It was winter so we did not use the pool or grill. There are plenty of dishes, glasses, cups, pots and pans, a drip coffee maker, crockpot, hand mixer, blender, toaster, microwave, etc. If you’re going to cook a lot, you might need measuring cups and spoons and larger mixing bowls. (I had brought those)Our host Lesa was very nice and easy to communicate with. I did let her know about the beds along with a broken window pane (that we did not break). She said the mattresses were only about 4 years old, and offered 2 free nights if we wanted to come back in the offseason. While we enjoyed our time and the house, I don’t think we would return until the mattresses are replaced.

Photos misrepresent property

Based upon the photos of this property and the relativity high price, we thought it would be a nice place to host a family gathering. What wasn't posted was the muddy, half sodded yard, the construction trash (bricks, palettes, soda cans), the master bedroom with large windows overlooking the lake with NO WINDOW TREATMENTS AT ALL and the fully visible next door neighbors. While the inside of the house was acceptable, it lacked some details that one would expect to find in a "New, Upscale property". (Lack of window coverings, no pulls on drawers in upstairs bathrooms, luke-warm water (check-out page said to "stagger" showers), broken washer, broken iron,etc.) The kitchen was fairly well-stocked for indoor cooking. Appliances worked well. Property manager was very accommodating and sensitive to our complaints, even offering a full refund if we wanted to find another place to stay. Unfortunately, I couldn't find another place to stay on such short notice.

Perfect lakefront property for family

The space is great for a family getaway at the lake. We had 8 adults, a 4 yr old, and a 6 month old. Super convenient to restaurants, boat rentals, and shopping needs - by boat or car. Nice-sized rooms, high ceilings, open concept kitchen/dining/lounge, spacious red area downstairs with additional bedrooms, and a great pool area. We really enjoyed it. Lesa was a lovely hostess - so nice and accessible. She even brought us ingredients to make s’mores in the fire pit. We will definitely stay here again!

Awesome Vacation!

Had a great family vacation! House is very nice! Very nice pool right outside the back. Although it is a lil steep getting down to the boat dock it’s worth it with everything else that’s there. This was the 2nd time we were at Guntersville & this home was way better than the other one we had.

Family Home for Christmas

Rented this property so the whole family could be together for the Holidays. Very quiet, comfortable, and spacious. It’s the second we’ve rented this property for family and friends gatherings, extremely satisfied and had a wonderful time!!!

Perfect oasis within this vacation home

We loved this vacation rental! The home was incredible. Our favorite part was sitting by or laying in the pool just enjoying the scenery all around. We fished from the dock, enjoyed the lake with the kayaks (provided), and had fun playing games at the kitchen table where you had beautiful views of the lake and hills. Everything was super clean, and the host was wonderful. You felt far away from everything, but you are only minutes from the grocery store, some great restaurants, and a cute little downtown area with some fun shops. Highly recommend this vacation rental!
