Great location

Enjoyed our time in Milan. The condo was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Giancarlos is a great host.

Location and hospitality fantastic

Great neighborhood location with excellent local food and ambience. Our host was charming and always helpful. Safe, clean and comfortable. The apartment was a little small for us (bathroom and sitting areas were tight) which is why i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Great host, Great location -small one bedroom

Giancarlo is the perfect host-he picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, gave us recommendations for places to eat and visit. The location is excellent right in the center of town and quiet. The unit is small but as we were only there to sleep was not a problem.

Great Stay! Perfect!

Giancarlo was excellent. He went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable in his property. He also gave us great advice on how to use our time in Milan. The property was spotless and exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect. We would definitely rent this location again.

Perfect location, helpful host!

Loved Milan and our location. The must see sights, plenty of good restaurants, perfect tram access all within easy reach. More importantly, the host couldn’t have been more helpful. Bathroom is very small but one at a time works. It is definitely an “efficiency” apartment.

Milan Homeaway apt

Giancarlo was a wonderful host. He gave us detailed driving instructions to his place, carried our bags up the stairs for us and recommended 2 great restaurants for dinner. His apt was clean, comfortable beds and had all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. We would recommend This Homeaway apt.

Nice location

The apartment is located right on tram line #9; which makes it very convenient getting to Milan's Central train station; this same tram line will also take you to the canal area which is a very trendy area for the locals. The Milan Duomo is a short 10 minute walk or less to the core center of the city.

A great location and an even better host!!!!

Giancarlo went out of his way to make our first visit to Milan an enjoyable event.It was so nice of him to pick us up at the airport and bring us directly to the apartment especially with the luggage we had for a 4 week trip. He also recommended several restaurants where the food was very good and the cost did not break the bank. We will stay in this apartment again if we return to Milan.

Giancarlo was an incredibly gracious and helpful host. The apartment is in an excellent location.

We had a wonderful two nights in Milan. Giancarlo met us right on time. He showed us around the apartment and highlighted areas of interest as well as restaurants. The apartment was spotless, well equipped and quiet at night for sleeping. We could walk to everything! Would highly recommend!

Easy Walking Apartment

Giancarlo picked us up at the airport so we didn't have to bother with a taxi. The apartment is very centrally located and within easy walking distance to all or most of the sights in Milan. Giancarlo also recommended several restaurants that we tried and loved them. Especially Pizza OK!. Good and quiet location.

Great Apartment , Perfect location

Excellent location for this apartment, with all Milano city centre destinations within walking distance, our first criteria of choice. The apartment is nice, welcoming and tidy up, in accordance with the pictures and extremely clean with all what one might need and comfortable bed. Giancarlo was really nice to us and gave us valuable advices to have a perfect trip. Arrival and departure procedures very easy and efficient. Great stay at Giancarlo's place. I would definitely recommend it to really enjoy Milano.

“Welcome to my place”

From the very beginning, Giancarlo was there to make you feel absolutely at home. The apartment was just what my wife and wanted, and the location is only a short walk to “La SCALA”. Giancarlo treated my wife and I as family....excellent! ciao, Vittorio

Perfect location. Had everything we needed. The bed was great. Easy to cook in. Giancarlo was so helpful. Provided us with a ride to the airport which was an hour away. We had no clue it was that far. We also got a great message from him and his associate. Felt great after five weeks of traveling.

Good location

Giancarlo’s apartment is in a great location. Giancarlo was super helpful and picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the airport upon our departure. Grazie mille Giancarlo! The apartment is simple and the bathroom is the typical small Italian bathroom, but it had everything we needed and was sufficient for our visit. The AC works really well. You can’t beat the location- just about 5-10 min walk to the Duomo. We had a nice visit to Milan.

Beautiful equipped apartment

Spotless well equipped apartment on a quite residential street. Walking distance to shops & restaurants. Tram pickup 100 meters away for service to city center or train station. Highly recommend the apartment & location. Giancarlo was a gracious host. He recommended many places to eat, drink, visit & was spot on his references. We did it all! We are experienced travelers & found this apartment excellent.

Great Apartment!

This apartment was in a great location and was just a short walk to the main sites. the apartment was stocked with everything you would need and was clean and neat. Giancarlo was so great! He was very personable, helpful and detailed with information about the apartment and the city. He was a pleasure to rent from, made the process so easy, and checked on us to make sure we are enjoying the apartment and had no problems. Grazie!

Central quiet location with helpful landlord

The good points about this holiday apartment were (1) its central location, just 15 mins walk from Piazza Duomo, (2) a landlord, Giancarlo, who communicated promptly and helpfully with advice and provided "taxi" connection to the central station; and (3) the quiet, inner courtyard location. Mosquitoes were a minor annoyance and the sofa would benefit from recovering.

Perfect location in Milan

GianCarlo is terrific. He is an extremely gracious and helpful host, helping with directions, informing us as to the neighborhood, good places to eat etc. The apartment is quiet and very well located to walk pretty much anywhere. Only issue was that the furnishings were a bit “tired” and sitting area was small. Because Milan is an interesting and exciting city, it was a minor issue, just stating the single reason we gave four stars instead of five...

Lovely Heaven in Milan

We stayed at Giancarlo's property for 4 nights. Modern, well appointed apartment, perfectly furnished, inside a 18th century amazing building. It is spotlessly clean and has everything one could need for this city visit. Central to all in the city as well. Very quiet and relaxing, even if we were in a great central location. Giancarlo is a wonderful host. We were very grateful for the pickup at Milano Centrale. We have no hesitations in recommending this property.

Lovely little apartment in Milano

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is nicely decorated and in a lovely neighborhood. Kitchen is very small but we were able to cook some meals there. Our host, Giancarlo, was very helpful and responsive. He also provides transport to and from the airport and train station to the apartment, for a fee, which is very convenient. There are some very nice restaurants and bars nearby and the grocery store is only 2 blocks away. We would have loved to have had one english language news channel such as CNN, but other than that everything was great.

Great location and host!

Located on the first floor ( there is an elevator if necessary) and facing the inner courtyard this apartment was easy to access and quiet for sleeping. Host Giancarlo lives in the same building and he was very accessible for check-in/check-out and any questions we had. He provided recommendations for pasticerrias for our breakfast and restaurants for dinner. Easy walk to the Duomo, tram right out front that takes you to the train station in one direction and in the other direction to the Navigli area for walking along the canal and many dining choices. Also close to Metro (3 blocks) and buses (at the corner). Grocery store within 5 minutes walking. This was a great find and we'd stay here again!

LOVELY COMFORTABLE APARTMENT

The apartment was very nice: modern and cozy, spacious, quiet, comfortable mattress and fully well equipped. Internet wi-fi high speed. The location is the best place in Milan, however, couldn't be beat -- both the street and the building itself. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Milan and Giancarlo ( the owner) was a major reason why. He picked us up at Malpensa Airport quite late at night and was very helpful with our luggage etc. We were also able to contact him easily when we needed anything.Would definitely recommend it to others.
