Thanks Sharon! We are so thrilled you thoroughly enjoyed your stay at Castillito del Caribe. We strive for 5 star reviews, and are so are sorry we did not meet that expectation. I did check with our property manager and he said you did not advise him of any maintenance issues during your stay. The low water pressure was simply a matter of cleaning the faucet screens, it was just a 5 minute job. The salt air is brutal on the sliding door rollers. We scheduled them but unfortunately our contractor was unable to come before the holidays. They have been replaced and latches services so both level sliders and latches are now working great!

Glad you liked the location of our lovely 5 Star home with panoramic views! One bug does not an “invasion” make. They’re an unavoidable part of the tropics. We do use gel which works extremely well. They can crawl in from outside when doors are left open - which you enjoyed. Surprised by the trash smell comment as seas breezes flow from the ocean through the house to the street side, not the reverse direction. Trash is picked up daily, no one else has ever had an issue. One button fell off a futon, and we addressed it immediately. It appears the negative comments are retaliatory due to some of your guests cancelling and you wanting a refund. Policy is clear. Not nice.

Thanks Mariah! It was a pleasure hosting you and your lovely family. Yes, we've had a few guests try to use GPS to find us and they usually call. That's why we made the video ;-) We do stock basic pantry items so you don't have to buy all that stuff for a week stay!
