Du vil se en spektakulær udsigt over havnen, havet og byen fra dette smukke multi-level hus bygget på Avalons bjergskråning. Den nederste halvdel er to historier med 3 soveværelser og 2 badeværelser. Er en fantastisk ferie stedet for familier og dem, der ønsker at undgå trængsel og travlhed i byen. Der er kun 21-25 trin ned ad siden af ​​huset til indgangen, som ville føre dig til øverste etage, lige ind i stue / spisestue området. View was amazing, 10/10. House was marginal, beds squeak. Some of the comforters smelled like mildew. Minimal to no curtains on rooms so difficult to sleep past sunrise. Golf cart is gas powered and we got headaches and nausea every time we used it. For the price per night the house should have some improvements.

If you are looking for amazing views of the harbor this place has it! We have been coming to Catalina every summer for 15 years & have stayed in multiple rentals this unit is spacious & a quick golf cart ride to town. Pros: 3 bedrooms & 2 full baths made it very comfortable for our family of 5 (2 adults & 3 teens)Plenty of towels were provided as well a separate kitchen towelsKitchen had plenty of dishes, silverware, & cups as well as a dishwasher available. Dish soap & Dishwasher tablets were provided Coffee maker & filters were also available & easy to use.Having a golf cart available is a necessity because this location is not an easy walk to townHaving a washer & dryer was also a nice convenience.Overall a nice somewhat updated unit relatively modern furnishings & flooring but some items could use an updateCons:Unit was “cleanish” but there were cobwebs in corners, ceiling fans were dusty, & fingerprints left on mirrored closetsFurniture needs repair. Chair cushions were all sagging & recliner is broken Upstairs bed is really squeaky.Refillable Shampoo/Conditioner/Body wash containers all had the same stuff inside & conditioner bottle was watered downThere is a beautiful balcony/deck with only 2 loungers for seating! With a 6 person occupancy there should be seating for all guests.The living room door doesn’t have a screen. We left it open & didn’t have any issue with bugs but it would be nice to be able to have a screen door there

The great things about this rental are the view and the golf cart. I definitely should have read the reviews and paid better attention to some of the details. It advertises a washing machine but machine doesn’t work, it was taped closed stating out of order. No beach towels offered so be prepared to rent or purchase them. Upstairs Shower curtain was covered in mold. No sponge in the kitchen. Only 1 fan for 3 bedrooms and a fan is necessary w/no A/CYou can’t feel the ceiling fan in the master because of where it is placed. It is blocked by a beam on the ceiling and not over the bed so there was no air flow while sleeping. No ceiling fans in the other rooms. Master bed is incredibly squeaky so every move is noisy. Lots of small cobwebs throughout in the corners and on the walls. Wished there was a rug inside the house coming in from deck to wipe feetAlso wished there was a rug under the master bed, floor was dirty enough that it was gross to go barefoot even going from the bed to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Wasn’t exactly clean overall. Downstairs shower didn’t drain so you’ll stand in inches of water while showering. Definitely a lot of ants so keep all your food in the fridge. The kitchen trash became consumed by ants as well. The body wash and hand soap in both bathrooms was empty when we arrived. The owners of this rental could do such a better job!! When we dealt with the management co. they were friendly, fast and responsive. Great to work with.

Amazing views!

The house was absolutely beautiful and the view. Was stunning! Check in and check out were easy and having the golf cart was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing views!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the views and location of this house. While it was a bit of a hike getting up there the ambiance could not be beat. The host was communicative and responsive. We can’t wait to return!

The quintessential Catalina view from every room made the trip. The huge deck was just as the pictures show. Having a 4 passenger rain proofed golf cart was fabulous for easy trips down the hill. The place had all the basics. It was not modern or new which made it reasonable for a family of 6 to experience the location. The sheets smelled clean, we had plenty of toilet paper and we didn’t encounter any bugs over new years week. Note: If you’re bougie this isn’t the place for you. Summary: Basic accommodations with sensational views and convenient golf cart.

We had five visitors. The property requires either taxi or the golf cart (which barely handles 4 going up the hill to the property). The view was the best part--spectacular. The condition of the property was poor compared to the price paid. Sliding door was falling apart. One lounge chair was essentially broken. Only four table chairs at the dining table. Stairs are at best tricky to navigate for two of our party over 75 years old. In general, we will not every use VRBO on any return trip to the island as the photos were not representative of the property. We felt the cost was extremely high for the quality of lodging.

Catalina Island Vacation

Everything about this rental was great. The view of the waterfront from the balcony was spectacular. There was plenty of space in the home and access to the golf cart made this vacation complete. Even though we were there during Christmas week, most of the restaurants and shops were open. Would stay her again.

best view of catalina!!!

The view was absolutely stunning! There was a lot of room as well. Simple check in and check out. No issues with property managers. Issue with the golf cart so they reimbursed for taxis which was amazing! Highly recommend!

Best view in Avalon

The condo is very comfortable and has an amazing view overlooking the village and harbor below. I would have been content just to sit on the deck all day. But there was a lot of biking and hiking and eating to keep us busy. Avalon is a beautiful place!

The host was friendly and check in was easy. A breaker blew during our stay, and the host took care of it quickly with good communication. The VIEW is phenomenal and the unit was clean, comfortable and easy to relax in. We could hear the upstairs occupants talking and walking, but fortunately they were on the same sleep/wake schedule so it wasn't an issue. The king bed in the main room was hilariously squeaky. Maybe some WD-40 could help.Thankfully we had the golf cart because hiking up and down the road would have been challenging. It's about 15-20 minutes into town. That being said, Wild Bill's was a trusty little cart. Instructions on how to fill the tank and best fuel to use would have been helpful. Overall a great stay and our group enjoyed it very much.

Unbeatable View

We stayed in the lower unit with one other couple. While there are steep stairs to enter the unit, this was clearly communicated to us and wasn't a problem. The view is stunning and the patio is perfect. We did have an issue with one of the showers, but called the number provided and a person showed up to help within an hour. We would stay here again.

Great stay

Property was as advertised. We had a couple power outages, but they were fixed in a timely manner. Had an issue with toilet, it was fixed promptly. The view was awesome. Management company said the would refund 25% for the day power was out. Not sure when that refund hits my account.

Weekend Getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay, however the golf cart that was advertised became not available about 2 days before our trip and instead were reimbursed for 2 cab rides a day. The location of the property, the golf cart makes things easier and convenient. We were able to make it work without the use of the house golf cart, but it would have made the trip easier. We came across issues with the WiFi and some mouse droppings in one cabinet, but the management company was very responsive and immediately sent a maintenance crew to clean and set a trap. The view is amazing and we enjoyed our stay. Just a few hiccups along the way.

Avalon

We loved the location! The house is very roomy. Two bedrooms are downstairs with one bedroom upstairs. The views from all of the bedrooms and living room were amazing. A washer/dryer were a very nice bonus. My only disappointment is that the golf cart was not available due to insurance issues. We chose this particular place as we thought we would have access to our own cart. We were notified a few days before our arrival that it would not be available to us. However, we were reimbursed for two taxi rides per day which meant a ride into town and back. There were times when we went into town more than twice.

Spectacular Avalon views

Situated right below the Inn at Mt Ada with the same spectacular views we enjoyed when staying at the Inn in the past. Like most of Avalon this is an older property that had been enlarged with a few quirks. One of the two bath/showers didn't work (this is likely to be corrected for future guests). Don't expect any coffee or miscellaneous condiments in the fridge - this is a straight rental not someones home. Biggest complaint is that there is no shade on the balcony at all. If you want to fully enjoy the view that Wrigley chose for his own home, come prepared with sunblock, loose clothing and hats.

Beautiful view and quiet street - but that is about it

We booked this house for the view and were very impressed with that. The golf cart was a big plus as well. However for the price we paid this house left a lot to be desired. -the floors were dirty -deck furniture was stained and dirty-living room and dining room furniture is worn and dirty-living room TV wasn't working (not sure if broken or no power supply)-the kitchen drain smelled like rotting food-the upstairs bathroom is small and dated, with no fan. The shower/bathtub is very slow to drain, so you'll be standing in high water during your shower. Also the shower knob is broken and barely functional-the upstairs bed is very tall and extremely squeaky, the pillows are flat-the door to this unit is at the bottom of a steep set of stairs on the side of the house. It is not accessible and there is no stairway lighting at night-the location is very quiet but is not easy to walk to - it's a 15 minute walk from town up a steep street

Great place, needs a bit of TLC.

Great location, terrific balcony and views, good-sized bedrooms. Having a golf cart was great. Construction site next door a bit noisy during weekdays. Kitchen and cookware ok, could use a peeler, more pot lids, sharper knives. Carpeting is old, stains from previous renters. Internet router was very weak, could only get a decent signal in the master bedroom. Both toilet "flaps" need to be replaced--needed to open the tank and set them or else the toilets would keep flushing. The door handle of the larger bedroom on the lower floor is wonky-- one of our family got locked in, couldn't open from either side, had to use credit card to open, then taped the mechanism open with bandaids. Otherwise---we had a GREAT time!
