Sommerhus: Charmerende hyggeligt hjem, bygget i 1930. Denne 1. 5 story hytte, med wrap around veranda, vil være en du vil ønske at reservere år efter år!

The best!

We had an amazing experience with this rental! The backyard could not be beat! We loved the amazing amount of lake frontage they offered. It felt like you were a true VIP with the huge sandy beach! My kids loved being able to run in and out of the clear, shallow water! The night views around the fire were so beautiful. The cottage was cozy and had everything you would need to make you feel at home. The owners were also very helpful, communicative, and responsive. We would definitely recommend to those looking to have a great stay!

Clamelot Vacay

It was a very nice location on Torch Lake. Only had to walk 44 steps to put my feet in the water. Clean older house. There is a restaurant right next door that we could walk to. That was convention. Good regular food. Good communication with the owner.

Great Stay!

Property was located in prime spot on Torch Lake! We were able to moor our boat and enjoy the beachfront. Great weather this week added to an enjoyable time.

Great location and terrific host

We had a great time with the family, perfect view of the lake, fantastic beach. Tom and Coleen we wonderful and communication was perfect.

Beautiful - Pure Michigan

Truly an amazing property. Cannot beat the view or the hospitality of the owners - can tell they genuinely care about the property and the guest experience. We were a party of ten including adults and kids from age 7 to 17 and we all had a great time. From the communication about check in/check out procedures to recommendations provided throughout the trip Colleen was a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend this property!!

Wonderful Getaway

We had such a lovely time at the cottage even though the weather didn't fully cooperate. The lake views and sunsets are unmatched. We visited Traverse City and Alden which are both a short drive away. Colleen welcomed us with open arms and was always available if we had questions. Such a great week!

Wonderful stay on Torch Lake!

We loved our stay at this property! We had big plans to explore all that northern MI had to offer, but this home enticed us to stay put and relax for the week. It’s just what we needed. Would highly recommend.

Torch Lake - Lake Living Bliss!

The Dream Cottage sits in a truly wonderful position on Torch Lake. It's adjacent to Dockside, Butch's Marina etc. and a short drive into Bellaire & Alden. The most spectacular feature is the close proximity to the lake and the 200 Ft. of private sand beach; this facilates easy access to the boat, swimming, reading in an Adirondeck with a glass of wine coupled with a breeze and over-arching tranqulity. Overall the Clamelot stay exeeded our expectations! The AM & sunset views were simply stunning. The owners Tom & Colleen were extremely responsive, helpful and charming... the house itself has everything you need for a fulfilling lake holiday. The kitchen is well appointed, the beds comfortable, showers good and dining room, lounge and grilling station all on-point for family dinners and movie-nights. We had 4 teens / young adults with us and they loved the whole Clamelot experience. We plan on returning next year!

Amazing

We just got home from our family vacation and it was amazing! Colleen was wonderful to work with. The home had everything you could need and fun toys for my daughter. The beach was beautiful, sandy, and incredibly safe for my 3 year old to play in. We will remember this trip forever!

Torch Lake Family Vacation - wonderful week

The property was very nice and comfortable for our large family. The lake is awesome - so clean and clear - and we had great weather. There were a few stressful issues around the number of visitors we were allowed to host at the house and a concern about filling the septic system. We worked through the issues and had a great time. The owners are very protective of their home and it shows.

Clamelot at Torch Lake

The property was fantastic and just as described. We had a wonderful week and will remember the trip forever. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for lakeside rentals on Torch Lake.

Great Place

Our family really enjoyed this home, along with the nice big yard and back porch, and big strip of beach. The owners attention to detail and communication was superb We rented a tritoon for the week from Dockside, which is about a block away, great people there as well. We would definitely like to come back some day. Thanks to Colleen and Tom for everything.

Don’t pass this place up!

From the moment we booked last fall, we have had nothing short of an incredible experience with our host, Colleen. She has been wonderful in answering our many questions about the property, and also was more than accommodating with some of our special requests. This property is an absolute dream. If you are looking for the “Torch Lake Life” experience, don’t hesitate. Just book it. The cottage is quaint, but the entire kitchen has been re modeled and the cleaners did a fantastic job! Air conditioners are a huge bonus! The property was well stocked with anything you could need during your stay, from kitchen supplies to toys for the kiddos and adults to use while enjoying the lake. The yard and beach at this property are unbelievable. Lots of grass and areas with full sun for tanning, and big cedar trees that give plenty of shade for when you went overboard with the sun. We had a constant breeze off the lake to keep things cool. The beach is incredible. You won’t find this anywhere else! Our toddler spent her entire vacation on that beach- digging, skipping rocks and playing in and out of the waves. There are small rocks right along the shore- perfect for combing through and finding treasures like petoskey stones and lake glass, but once you get out about 4 feet into the lake, the bottom is complete sand. Very rare for the east side of the lake! We were initially concerned about how busy the area might be because of its proximity to the dockside- but the landscaping has made this a completely private place, even with a rock retaining wall to separate this beach from Dockside’s. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals on Torch, and this, by far, is the absolute best. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything we wanted!

The property and amenities where terrific. Very friendly owners and made sure all our needs were met. Beautiful beach with lots of water sports. The updated kitchen was fantastic.

Torch Lake Treasure

Property has about 200 feet of the best frontage on Torch Lake. Sand beach and a sand bottom with a gentle slope into the water, so would be great for young children. Vintage house that has been updated in the right way. Colleen and Tom are probably the best hosts you will ever find for a property. We had a great stay! The only negative is that all three upstairs bedrooms are connected, so plan for that. The positive is that there are plenty of individual beds, so works well for a large group where sharing beds doesn't work. Also the bedding and towels are high quality. If you can get over the connected bedrooms, you won't find a better property on Torch Lake.

Family Get Away

Sometimes prior to an event things get built up so much that the event doesn't meet your expectations - I can say that wasn't the case for this vacation - It met or exceeded our expectations in every way. The owners of this location will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The home is located on the middle of the east side of the lake, which in our opinion, is the best location on Torch Lake. Dockside restaurant and Butch's Marina are both with in walking distance to the house, which was convenient for lunch/dinner and renting a pontoon boat. Torch Lake is a top 10 lake in the United States. The water is crystal clear. The blue and green colors are amazing. The home comes with plenty of toys - canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Late night fires by the lake are a must. Our trip included my wife and I, along with our three children who are all in their twenties, along with two of their friends. The seven of us fit comfortable in the house. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is, if you have the opportunity to rent this house - do it!!

Perfect vacation home!

Stayed here on a family vacation (3 generations). The property was picturesque! Sandy beach, sandy lake bottom, amazing yard to play lawn games. Everyone loved the home, from the young children up to the grandparents! Colleen was amazing to communicate with, and would give us ideas for things in the area. An amazing week we had at Clamelot.

Family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our week on Torch Lake at this amazing property! The beach was absolutely perfect for my young grandsons. The water was crystal clear and went out very gradually. The house was sparkling clean and very comfortable. The newly remodeled kitchen is beautiful and had everything we needed. Working with Colleen was a joy. Highly recommend this property. Can’t wait to go back.

Great Location on Torch Lake

Clamelot is in an excellent location on Torch Lake and walking distance to the marina. Colleen and Tom (the owners) were very attentive and very easy to communicate with. Clanelot has a nice beach and a good supply of canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards. The house itself is a bit dated and in need of a little TLC. The upstairs bedroom arrange is not traditional.

Great stay at Torch

The absolute best part of this property is the amazing beach area- one of the best we have had after years of going to Torch Lake. The beach was long and sandy and the owners had plenty of outdoor toys to use. The size of the beach also made it feel pretty private. We spent as much time as possible outside and really enjoyed the location. I thought Dockside might get loud, but we didn't really even notice it was there. Great for our small children who love building in the sand and splashing in the water.

Beautiful sandy beach & amazing sunsets!

This quaint cottage named Clamelot sits on the most beautiful sandy beach with turquoise water. We launched our boat at Butch's that is right next door to Dockside and then tied up to a mooring buoy in front of the cottage. We boated to the Torch Lake sandbar and also Clam River/Clam Lake. Our granddaughters (ages 4, 5 and 6) loved playing in the shallow water that got gradually deeper. We enjoyed kayaking, snorkeling, frisbee in the water and a water gun fight. We played croquet in the very large grass area. In the evening we enjoyed amazing sunsets and the girls searched the beach shoreline for toads. It was nice to be close enough to walk to Dockside for dinner one night. We visited the Muffin Tin in Alden for breakfast and went to Bellaire a few times to Shorts Brewery, Ruthie's Chicken & Dairy Twist for ice cream and a special anniversary dinner at Terrain Restaurant. The owners Colleen and Tom were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We would love to visit Torch Lake again.

Amazing Torch Lake vacation!

Located on the east side of the lake, this beautiful home was everything we hoped for on our vacation to Torch Lake; great beach, lots of space and all the necessities (fire pit/grill/kayaks/laundry/+more) for a wonderful week. Located close to grocery, ice cream and a good choice of restaurants. Sunsets were always amazing! Would definitely book again! Hosts were also wonderful to work with!
