Perfect home

Grand home with plenty of room and well stocked. The pool ,gazebo ,porches and pool are picture perfect. Tom was a pleasure to work with and prompt to answer any questions we had. 5 stars

Beautiful house in ideal location

We have been on quite a journey over the years to find a property that can comfortably accommodate our extended family vacation that includes ten people from age 81 down to age 2.5. Goose Landing was the perfect place for our family. We had ample space, lots of places to gather but also to break up to do separate activities. Daily use of the pool was a highlight of our visit. The house is also located just the perfect distance from restaurants and the beach--very close, but not too close. The house is beautifully renovated, but also shows a great sense of personality and style. We definitely hope to return for a future trip.

The Goldilocks Home !!

If you are looking for the best place to stay with your family, look no further. We have been going to Rehoboth with extended family for over 20 years – each time renting a new place in hopes of finding the “Goldilocks” home. We have stayed at places with too little communal space, poorly appointed kitchens, too far from beach, strange layouts and outdated everything – until now. Goose Landing provided enough bedrooms for all and there was ample space for gathering all together and in little groups for movies, games and socializing. The house has just been re-done so everything is new and updated. The kitchen was a pleasure to work in and I have never been to a house that had so many supplies for entertaining. You will never want for a wine glass or serving bowl! The house sits on a beautiful, large fenced property so you feel safe and ensconced from the mayhem of the boardwalk and downtown Rehoboth..but you are just a short walk away! And let me tell you about the pool. WOW. There is nothing better than having a lovely swim with your guests as an escape from the hot sweaty beach. Added bonus is the pool house that provides even more space for guests. And, on top of that, the owners are totally charming and super responsive. So there you have it: The Goldilocks house - where everything was more than “just right”- it was perfect!

Wonderful stay in Rehoboth

Goose Landing has everything for a wonderful family vacation….a beautiful house, amazing heated pool and pool house, incredible grounds, and an easy walk to the beach and to town for great restaurants and everything Rehoboth has to offer. The house is impeccably furnished and maintained, with everything we needed for our family including a lovely kitchen, beautiful porches with great sunlight and views of the pool and grounds, plenty of space for eating in and playing board games, and comfortable bedrooms. The hosts have restored the house with careful attention to detail, and it shows everywhere, including the lovely grounds that surround the heated pool. Our family spent many hours in the pool and it has the feel of a luxury resort. The beach and town are a short walk away, yet the house has a secluded feel despite being so close to everything. This was a wonderful stay for us and thoroughly enjoyed by our entire family! Five stars across the board!

House instructions are overwhelming

Instructions on how to use toilets, grill, pool, kitchen and even the garden are is super great detail…you are advised on what toilet paper to buy and how to turn on/off the gas on the grill ( really?)…if some plants look dry…you are invited to water them…sprinkler goes off this a day and you have to dodge them. The kitchen has been nicely renovated and there are plenty of dishes, glassware, silverware and Cookware..all neatly organized. The house is big enough for family of 10-12. The Pool House is new and so is the pool…the pool cover has to be replaced after each use of the pool… There is plenty of parking for 5 cars. The entire house has only ONE hairdryer…they could buy some to make sure that each bathroom has one. There are no pool / beach towels and kitchen towels are available …but are not included in the linen service…??

Given Goose Landing's unique stature in Rehoboth, we strive to helpfully provide detailed information addressing many FAQs about the estate, in order to be useful to our guests as they navigate their enjoyment of a luxury compound. Most have appreciated the details provided as they familiarize themselves with the many opportunities for enjoyment on the acre of serene gardens and relaxing alcoves. We're glad you appreciated our tongue in cheek humor about recommended toilet tissue (which we supply)! Those recommendations come from years of experience living in an 1880's beach resort that still endures some legacy infrastructure! Better safe than sorry during a vacation! LOL! 🙂 Goose Landing happily features excellent quality luxury white bed and bath linens which our guests appreciate in a resort where the longstanding rental culture has generally been guests providing their own items. Our amenities exceed customary standards so that our guests enjoy an exceptional experience while also lightening their luggage! We appreciate the constructive point about the hairdryers and will duly note this suggestion. Thank you again for your visit to Goose Landing and, while you won't be visiting us again, we wish you well with your other VRBO adventures in future.

Wonderful vacation spot!

My family and I had an absolutely amazing time at Goose Landing! The house is perfect distance from the beach and the boardwalk, and with little kids this is a must-have. The house is spacious and roomy and has everything you could need. The yard is beautiful and very well kept. The gem of the house is the heated pool! We spent many afternoons and evenings using it. Truly a unique wonderful place!

Our very favorite beach vacation

Beach vacations have been part of our family for decades. Without a doubt, The Pines was our very favorite place. Every single detail was perfect from the lovely furnature, beautiful accessories, and well stocked kitchen. The charming Pool House, shady trees, and lovely landscape were appreciated every moment we were there. Both boardwalk and beach were in close proximity along with bike trails and other attractions.. We will never forget this most wonderful week!!

Beautiful home and property - well appointed. A home away from home.

Goose Landing is beautiful and offered plenty of indoor and outdoor space for our large family to find peace and relaxation. We never used our vehicles - easily walking to the beach and downtown. The home made our annual Rehoboth trip very special.
