We had a great stay at whiskey retreat. Very clean. Very nice quiet place to stay. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you may need for cooking. No elevators here. We were on the third floor. We didn’t mind it. We got plenty of exercise. Host very responsive if you need help with anything.

Great Mini Vacation

What a great place at the beach, we really enjoyed the stay, the condo was super clean and well equipped. We will be back soon!

Perfect family get away!

Has a longer walk to the beach than expected which was no problem for my husband and I! The beach was well worth the walk! This place was perfect for our small family to get away for a week!

Whisked Away

Enjoyed our stay in Whisky's retreat. Loved relaxing on the balcony after our days spent at the beach. Comfy king bed, great showers, well working kitchen. We had a great week and will look forward to staying here again.

Great spot and amenities

The distance to the beach is short. The view from the balcony amazing. Pool was awesome and super convenient on those red flag days. The property itself had everything we needed and more!

Great memories at Atlantic Beach, NC

Had not been to Atlantic Beach since I was a kid and had great memories. Coming back as an adult did not disappoint! This condo was just as shown in the pictures and the location is within walking distance to pier, restaurants and shops. Very quiet and restful place to stay!

Great location - would book again

Unit was as advertised and the location is great. The cleaners had failed to make the beds before we arrived and left the wrong size sheets for one of the beds. We contacted the owners and they were quick to respond and resolve the next morning (we arrived late at night). I would definitely stay here again.

AB Vacation

The overall stay was great. The condo was clean and the property was well kept. Only down side no elevator (staying on 3rd floor) but that’s ok, we got a lot of exercise for the week! Would definitely stay again!

Nice little beach condo

This is a nice little property. We somehow missed that it was 3rd floor walk up but that wasn't much of an issue. The place is well appointed, clean and has easy access to the beach. The view from the porch is lovely and the complex has a pool and a large picnic area. Pretty much everything you need is there.

Great Little Place!

We were there for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the property. The beach is closer than it seems in the pics. The building is beach front, though there are big dunes in between. Only negative is the lack of elevator. Lugging beach stuff up/down stairs everyday was tough!

Whiskey Retreat

Very nice condo with great amenities. Condo is fully furnished with all necessities. You will get plenty of exercise going to and from room. We had a nice stay and the noise from construction was minimal. I would recommend to others.

Seaspray July 4th Getaway

Whole property has been efficiently updated. Love the tropical blue color of the property. This condo has been updated and is very cute. Very stylish but not too much. The owners have thought of everything. Lots of kitchenware to meet our needs as we did cook most nights. Would definitely stay here again.

Property manager was excellent!

Great views from this unit…would not want to stay in any unit that wasn’t on the top floor, despite having to climb steps. We got lucky and didn’t have anyone staying on either side of us. The walk to the beach was easy and the beach there was just gorgeous. Caught flounder out front. Loved being close to Fort Macon and Amos Mosquitos! I had questions several times for the property manager and she was super quick to respond…like within minutes! Very impressed by her helpfulness.

No Pool - Be forewarned

I guess the pool is only seasonal and even so, not open as much as others in the same geography, and also under construction during our stay. This was not disclosed anywhere in the listing nor in any private communications and it should be as it was a requirement of our group. I would not have stayed here had I known. Other than that it is exactly as represented and an excellent location to the beach.

No elevator

The condo was beautiful. The rooms were all spacious except for the primary bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed. We had a couple issues of equal importance. The first issue was when we booked the price was listed on VRBO at 150/night. Shortly after, we received notification the price was incorrect. We were then billed an additional 575. We looked into canceling the booking but there wasn’t time to find another place in our price range. The second issue was that there is no elevator in the building. Being senior citizens, and my husband has had 3 back surgeries and is also asthmatic, it took us about an hour to get our luggage and groceries up the stairs. The primary bathroom was very very small. We used the other bathroom for all showers. The location to the beach, and the chairs and coolers provided, was fantastic! Unfortunately, due to the elevator situation, we will not come back to this location.
Great place for coffee.

Perfect!

Joedy had everything you could need for a stay. So quick to communicate. High tide after a storm is a shell hunters dream here !! HUGE beach, super quiet and well managed facility. Fort Macon is a 3 minute drive and there are so many walking/biking trails! Atlantic “rolls up the sidewalks” at 9:00 so get to dinner early🙌🏼

Simple and Perfect

Wasn't fancy (although there were several super nice touches such as green pans, smart TV, etc)... however, for the price and location, it was an awesome find. We had a great time.
