The condo was great, clean and in a great location. The clubhouse had many amenities which we enjoyed, especially the pool and hot tub.

I emailed the Vacasa folks to let them know is was good except for two things.First, the living room rug really needs a deep cleaning. Some dust/dirt. Second, in the 2nd bathroom the shower door “runs” had detached so it was sliding on the metal groove at the bottom.But eeither kept us from enjoying it.

First of all, it does not look like the picture on my screen to the left! It is old and tired and in need of renovation. It seems strange in design as all the light switches are about a foot lower than normal. I am only 5'8" tall at this point in my life, and the shower heads hit me in the face when pointed straight out from the wall, so that showering is a bit of a challenge. The kitchen is poorly stocked compared to other vrbo properties we've stayed in. The location is spectacular, so the convenience and the pool amenity makes up for some of shortcomings of the actual condo.

Great location, not great service.

Vent fell down in the bedroom in the middle of the night. Heater did not work in living area. Front door occasionally did not lock properly.Location is unbeatable and house was clean.

The property was as described except there was no mention of a coffee maker. I brought this to the attention of VRBO and was told there would not be a coffee maker in the unit and so I brought my own only to find out that there was indeed one in the kitchen. Perhaps the amenity list needs updating. I also brought chairs for the patio as the photo showed only wire frame chairs. This too was wrong as the unit had 2 wonderful chairs for the patio that was quite dirty and in need of sweeping and window washing. Overall, we thought the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, we liked the TV and channel selection, and the location to the SV resort center was great! The unit needs updating - especially the living room furniture. We paid a premium price for a unit that was just average.

Dusty with white dog hair throughout

The condo was very dusty an there was white dog hair throughout. Top of fridge was not cleaned. My wife filled the capture of the vacuum with lint and dog hair. Our allergies to dogs made it hard for us to enjoy our time. Although advertised as no pets allowed, there was a dog in the condo recently. The pink spotted couches were very uncomfortable and not well positioned to watch the TV. Lighting throughout was dim without overhead lighting in the TV room and bedrooms. Clubhouse was unavailable because of construction and not disclosed in the listing advertisement. Black light showed many past staining on the carpets and bedding. Beds in second bedroom were short and uncomfortable. We took the mattress and box springs off the frame to firm them up. My wife thought it was too noisy. I think the snow cat groomers on the ski slope kept her up at night. On the upside it is very convenient to the ski lifts and there were games and toys for our son.

Not a home away from home-

Fantastic location and a good layout but so poorly maintained and equipped that I would never even think about renting this location again unless they overhauled the place. Saggy mattresses and poor quality rough sheets, hard matted old pillows, grimy, dingy dining chairs and living room furniture, (all of it 30-40 years old and in the state you would find it at a thrift shop), chipped floors, sticky cabinets, a musty old smell. Weird knickknacks about like a large wood doll with a creepy smile behind the TV and old baskets and wood boxes?? Horribly equipped kitchen: No sprayer on the 40 yr old kitchen sink, no handmixer, dirty dishes in the cupboards, only a handful of teaspoons, heat damaged pots and pans, dirty tea kettle, etc. Needs desperately: New mattresses and pillows (unless you like sleeping in a hammock) New, decent quality sheets Comforters Recover or CLEAN couch and chairs New dining set New pans New silverware Glass Pyrex measuring cups A big salad bowl A plug-in tea kettle A new crock pot New faucets, sinks and counters. A few things that were nice and did not need fixing- The fridge was clean and new, New doors and door handles and washer and dryer. It was also roasting HoT with ZERO instructions on how to adjust the thermostat. I appreciate the fact that it was keeping us warm but I would like the autonomy to turn down the heat.

Okay stay

Coffee maker had not been cleaned for awhile. Mold in the coffee grounds. Even after I cleaned thoroughly it didn’t turn out well. Maybe need a new one.

Great location! Lots of noise upstairs.

Wonderful location, cleanliness & amenities! If you want a relaxing, sleep in vacation, this is not the condo for you. Too much noise upstairs starting at 6:30am. If you’re an early riser to ski, etc., no problem. If not, get an upstairs condo.

Came for winter stay with the family, great location, needs major updates though!

The location can’t be beat if you want to ski at Dollar. My daughter had 4 days of snowboard competitions and it could not be a better location! Run back for lunch etc! It’s just minutes from SV Village. The Clubhouse is newly updated & awesome, as is hot tub. The downside is the property is very very dated. It is clean, but the couches are so old you sink in. Tiles on kitchen floor are cracked, the sliding doors to the shower came off the track to the point we could no longer use that shower. There were no extra blankets available in the condo and the master bedroom got quite cold at night. It took 3 days to get extra blankets delivered. Additionally the master bedroom has a very sheer window shade and it was not room darkening in the least! The outside light was shining into the bedroom all night. Didn’t bother my husband but if you sleep better in the dark, that room is not restful. The unit is a perfect size for a small family though. It could really use an overall update but location can’t be beat! Communication with the team via texting was helpful.

Great location, tired unit

The location is perfect. The unit had a very used feeling to it. It could use updating. Not just the finishes but the furnishings. Couch and chairs are super saggy and rough. Specific to our stay, the unit was not cleaned well prior. We found tons of dog hair everywhere and other issues. Once we vacuumed the whole place it was much more livable.

Great location

Very convenient to the ice rinks and pavilion. A little disappointed that it did not have any closets and dresser was filled with extra linen. Did not have soon of the amenities mentioned on the website. Mainly Netflix streaming and cable. The furniture is very old and kitchen/dining room floor could use a really good scrubbing. I was there to skate not watch television, but one of my condo mates was very upset about the cable not being available.

Great location and service, decent home.

We had an extended stay at this home, nearly 4 weeks, at the end of the ski season in 2021. The home is in a great location, literally steps from the Dollar Mountain lifts and lodge. The home is reasonable and in ok shape. During our stay we had a number of things happen, such as the dishwasher and vacuum go out of order, the toilet and thermostat malfunction, and a couple other smaller issues. This can obviously happen from time to time, so it's understandable that things go out of order. In all cases, the property manager (Angela) was extremely responsive and all the issues that I came to her with were taken care of promptly. The dishwasher was replaced and installed the next day, a new vacuum was delivered the same day, and the toilet and thermostat were likewise promptly repaired. So the service was superior and made the issues seem minor. That said, the home is in need of some upgrades - the furniture is quite old and worn out, so it might not be a bad idea to update and replace. There are some smaller things that could also use some repair, such as the floor tile in the kitchen which is starting to chip away, the faucet controls in both bathtubs are not fully functional, and the front door doesn't latch easily. Overall, our stay was comfortable and pleasant, and the great service addressed the unfortunate issues promptly and effectively. I would stay there again and would recommend this home for others, just keep in mind that it's not sparkling new and in need of some upgrades.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is walkable to sun valley resort for bike rental which was fun. The furniture/kitchen is a little outdated but clean and works just fine. We did wish it had a smart tv or a roku or something similar so we could watch our Netflix account. But we were able to find a movie on demand that was free with commercials. Beds were comfortable.

Really I could have given 5 stars

This is not a luxury condo. The kitchen, bedding, furniture and bathrooms need an update. However, the condo is clean and is not run down, the kitchen is well stocked and the appliances work well. We had issues with the cable-we did not have TV 3 or 4 nights- but the problem was likely because of the local cable service and not anything having to do with the condo. In that time, Vacasa was extremely responsive, twice sending a serviceman within minutes. I would rent a Vacasa home again just based on their customer service. Our stay in the condo was comfortable and I do recommend it. You cannot beat the nightly 'run' to the hot tub where everyone is friendly. If you are skiing at Dollar--Snowcreek condos is the place to stay. Ski in/out.

Clean and roomy

Good points: clean, quiet, good bed, quiet baseboard heating, view, convenient location, easy parking, cold water and ice on demand best for people under 60 Needs improvement: new, comfortable chairs, reading lights, black-out curtains in master bedroom, basic instructions for grinder/coffee maker and tv/dvd player
