Great Location

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was very dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The proximity to the beach and the porch are the top features of this home. We love this location in garden city, the more south end. This property definitely needs some TLC, especially being ocean front and the cost. I understand it’s high season but it hasn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. The condition of the couch is embarrassing. There are multiple stains and it’s well past its prime in comfort. I had to clean the ice maker among other things. The covers on the bed must not be washed very often because there were stains. We washed them ourselves. Giant roaches. The trash can smell absolutely disgusting. The WiFi password we were given was incorrect. The tech guy fixed that pretty quickly. The owners may want to consider a new pool maintenance company. I don’t think they swept it at all. The pool was full of sand. And that company also open up all of our pool floats and threw away our kids toys. The realty was very accommodating after that happened and reimbursed us for our things. The downstairs outside bathroom is full of mold. I was afraid to shut the door and breath the air. The kitchen was nice with the new appliances and there was plenty of Ice. We also liked the multiple charging stations. This could be an absolute beautiful property if it was maintained better. If things were improved we would considering staying again because of the location alone.
