The condo is exactly as listed. I wish we could have stayed longer. We met the neighbors on both sides and they are both very nice. The neighborhood is in a great location. The host is very responsive. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!

Amazing home!!

We enjoyed our stay in this cute little cottage! It was very clean, updated and everything we envisioned. It accommodated us and our friends perfectly! We cooked, grilled and sat out back on the patio and laughed and had the best time while we were there! Plus the price.. you can’t beat it! Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Amazingly close to the Beach!

Clean and comfortable place to stay! Proximity to the beach is the best feature! Literally a three minute walk to a beautiful beach that was peaceful and had powdery white sand. We didn’t try it but you could walk a couple miles on the beach and have access to shopping as well. Definitely would stay here again.

Fun in the Sun — Short Stroll to the Beach

Great property with a super accommodating and responsive host. Beach friendly setup in a quiet neighborhood, just a short drive to supermarket and a little longer one to a variety of great restaurants and bars. Plenty of room for two couples and multiple kids (bunk bed room).

Family vacation

Hi Jan, I am glad that you had a good time at my beach house and enjoyed its great location! The property is equipped with dinnerware, flatware, stemware, cookware, hair dryers, irons, toasters, blenders, ovens, refrigerators, microwaves, and a dishwasher. We also have linens, sheets, and towels. As a courtesy... We also provide 2 bottles of dish soap, 1 bottle of liquid hand soap per bathroom, 2 small bottles of shampoo/conditioner per bathroom, and 2 bath soaps per bathroom. Enough to carry you over for a couple of days till you do groceries. If you have any specifics as to what was missing, please let me know so that I can purchase it and have it on hand for future guests. Thank You!

Great location and Clean!

Had a short weekend to getaway from the cold up north and stayed here. Easy to access the beach which was beautiful! It was clean and very comfortable. There was a slight musty smell, but then there is still a lot of clean up in the area from the hurricane. Would stay here again.

Spring break

We had a wonderful time staying here. Only 1 block to the beach and so close to grocery. Fort myers beach is still rebuilding but we had a great time!! Property was wonderful. Very comfortable and clean. Perfect for our family of 6. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Lovely Beach Stay

This place was a gem. The beach is very close and is uncrowded and gorgeous. There was plenty of room for myself and four grown children. It’s in a beautiful and charming neighborhood. Restaurants are great nearby and Publix is close. We had a great time and the owner was accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location!!

Our stay was fantastic! House is cute with a beach theme. Comfortable beds and large couch, TV and kitchen table. Loved the open concept floor plan. Outdoor area was a great place to hang out at night after enjoying the beach and local attractions. Mr. Rodriquez was easy to contact.

Short walk to the beach

Perfect for small family to walk to the beach. Just a block and a half. No need to worry about parking or traffic. Plenty of space for relaxing and hanging out after a day in the sun in a quiet neighborhood. Close to restaurants and state parks with kayaking and other amenities.

Great location

Loved this place, very cute and beach adjacent. Missing some kitchen essentials like salt, some larger pans. And you can hear everything from the upstairs apartment, but luckily the people were super nice. Willy was very attentive and responsive. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Wonderful Stay.

Check-in process was great. Had a little issue with the property not being clean but when I contacted the host he said that a contractor had been there for repairs the day before and told him that everything was left in good order. (It was not) He had his cleaning crew come immediately, they had it all cleaned up in less than an hour. The kitchen was well stocked and the furniture clean and comfortable. The wine is a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay

I would give this place a 4 out of 5. The place itself was amazing. Literally a block from the beach. Very clean and upkeep was spot on. The only downside to this trip is the location of the house in reference to all of the stuff downtown. It is about 3 miles to time square. It is not a huge deal if you want to rent bikes or get an Uber. Overall, a great place to stay and would go back

Hi Tom, Thanks for the nice review. Yes, this property is on the quieter part of town which has its own benefits. The beach in this area id also lees crowded... Whenever you come back to Fort Myers Beach ask me about my other property which is MUCH closer to the downtown area and it has a Pool, Hot Tub, and Volley Ball Court.

The Perfect Spot

What a fantastic place to stay. The location is perfect. It’s on a quiet, private little street just steps away from the beach. It is also less than a mile from a grocery store. We came for the shelling and the beach by the house was our best location by far, even better than famous Sanabel Island. The host is perfect too. Communication with him was prompt and easy. He was flexible with us when we needed a later checkout. The house itself is clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfy and there was plenty of space for my family of seven. Highly highly recommend this rental. Thank you

Nice for a short getaway close to the beach.

The vacation rental was clean and tidy when we arrived, which is always helpful. However, given the conditions in the surrounding area following a number of hurricanes in the recent years, the neighborhood is in the recovery phase, and there is lots of construction and empty lots. The beach is nearby and is beautiful, as are many of the local sites. But for a family vacation with a number of children, the space was lacking as it wasn't really comfortable for the kids to run around outside. The kitchen was nicely equipped, but without a dishwasher it was challenging for a weeklong vacation.There were a also number of maintenance issues - a leak from upstairs a non-working lock were the biggest concerns. Willy was responsive but nothing was actually done to fix the problems. There were also cockroaches in the kitchen area throughout our trip. I get it, it's Florida but not something we expect to deal with at a vacation rental.

Hi Sage, Thanks for your review! I am glad that you found my property clean and tidy upon arrival. Yes, the area has been hit by several hurricanes recently but as you noted the beaches less than a block away and are beautiful. The grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and stores are open. We also have parasailing, jet ski rental, golfcart rentals, boat charters, fishing charters, manatee and dolphin watching tours and a couple of local museums open. As soon as you left, I had the leak from the unit upstairs repaired. The property is on a service contract with Truly Nolen Pest Control. They treat the interior and exterior of the property on a monthly basis. Due to the recent rains during your stay, they may have been seeking refuge from the elements. In an effort to be more proactive, I have increased service intervals and added a threshold under the door to prevent critters from getting in. I have also repaired the lock that was not engaging. As far as the exterior of the property, the property sits on a 1/4 lot with plenty of room to play and run. Outside we have the outdoor dining/patio set, the BBQ Grill, the hammock to relax in, and a huge fire pit for bonfire or to roast marshmellows.

Prime location

I must start by praising Willy, the host, who was absolutely amazing. Communication was effortless and the bottle of wine that was provided as a Welcome gift, was greatly appreciated. Now, onto the property itself. It's situated in the heart of Estero Island on a quite street, just a block from Estero Blvd - a 5 minute walk from the beach. My GF and I decided to treat ourselves to a girly getaway, bringing along our four kids while leaving hubby's behind. We stayed in the 1st flr unit which provided ample sleeping space for all of us. While one of the bedrooms had two bunk beds intended for our teenagers, they ended up preferring the convertible couch in the living room for the duration of our stay. The unit had recently undergone renovation and looked fantastic. The kitchen was well-stocked though we did find ourselves missing a few basics such as condiments, salt/pepper, and oil, so we picked up what we needed and left it behind for the next tenants to enjoy. The backyard space had a lovely patio set and a charcoal grill. The property provided beach chairs, hammocks, a couple of boogie boards, and coolers. We did find it necessary to purchase some beach towels. If you plan on visiting the Time Square area plan ahead as traffic can get quite heavy around 4-5 pm. There's still a considerable amnt of construction in progress, due to rebuilding efforts following Ian's destruction. Overall we were pleased with the accommodations provided. We were a family of 8 and stayed for 4 nights. I never received check-in instructions and had to ask for them. When we got there, we opened the lock box and there was no key. I contacted Willy and was advised the prior family lost yhe key at the beach but the sliding back door was open. While the overall appearance was clean, everything metal was heavily rusted. This place is really only good for families of 4-5. The rooms have no space. Closet doors fall off. No window in one bedroom. Lights dont work, outside area covered with debris and wine was terrible. For the first night and day we had to take all our valuables with us as there was no way to lock the house. While Willy did fix the lock, the back door still did not lock and the list of other issues were ignored.
No bedroom windows and closet door fell off and Willy just put it in corner.
Completely rusted metal around door.
Door knobs we ruined and you couldn't be in the bathroom with door open.

There were just a few things that we felt could've been in the house. Salt/pepper/some games/ board/cards. Other than that. Willy was an exception host. Very clean , easy access to the beach.
