Cute little getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was just as described. Very cute and tucked away in the woods. A little bit of a steep driveway but not too bad unless it rains and you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. It was very clean and I would definitely recommend this place. Property manager provided great customer service also. Plenty of shopping and Tallulah Falls State Park are nearby. Must try Universal Joint restaurant. It was very good!!

The listing was accurate. House was very clean and comfortable. Overall, I would likely stay here again.Minor gripes, not dealbreakers:- overdue maintenance on the dirt/rock road leading to the house. This road is genuinely rough, but you are warned ahead of time that 4wd is needed. That is not a joke, take it seriously. It would be TOUGH in the rain/snow/ice, but we didn't have to deal with that. Main issue is that there were overhanging trees and branches all over the place that hit and scratched the car on the way in. I had to manually (try to) move the overhanging tree branches out of the way after arrival to avoid scratching my vehicle every time I went in and out. This is an easy fix that should be done. The road is tough enough...very very rocky and bumpy but that part can't be helped I guess.- the jacuzzi did appear to work, but was noticeably dirty. Dirt sitting on the bottom, and water was not clear. Didn't use it because of that, but again not a dealbreaker.- shower faucet in master bath not great...needs replacement

Tucked away private and relaxing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an excellent time at Bogg's Mountain lodge. Very isolated and private, down a dirt road, if quiet is what you seek, this is a great place to find it. AC works extremely well, great natural sunlight, and a generally wonderful place to relax. Make sure to bring your own kitchen basics like Salt, Pepper, foil, plastic wrap, and even Tupperware, as the kitchen is only very basically stocked. Also we had a problem with the washer/dryer, so if that's a non-negotiable for you, check in advance that they are working properly. Overall we had a good stay and would stay again.

Wonderful time

We had a wonderful time in GA. We love the area and it was close to many places we wanted to visit (Tallulah Gorge, Helen, Clayton to name a few). The cabin was very nice, enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit.

Beautiful cabin and extremely clean.

I brought my mom to this property for an early Christmas present. We loved our stay and highly recommend this cabin. It’s beautiful!!! We also enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Great place for kids too.

Wonderful Cabin!

We enjoyed our long weekend in the mountains. The cabin was beautiful and spacious. Everything was super clean. My son loved the hot tub and fire pit.

Girls weekend

Super cozy, fun place for our girls weekend. Close to activities and restaurants in Tiger and Clayton. It rained a few times so the gravel road was a little washed out, but the Subaru made it up and down without any issues.

26th wedding anniversary trip

Very clean / just need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there. No dishwasher but not a huge issue for us with only 2 people. Enjoyed the hot tub. Cabin very nice & open floor plan.

Great short stay

Only real complaint was that the grill did not work. Gas canister valve was rusted shut and couldn’t turn it. Other than that our stay was exactly what we were looking for.

Weekend Getaway

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at this property. The open concept and glass windows were perfect for a rainy weekend board games and just hanging out. Our only concern with the property was the water quality. Maybe consider installing a water filtration system to help with the taste and smell. Definitely a trip that we enjoyed and we appreciate you sharing your beautiful home with us.

Waking up in the tree tops

The beds are good for those who like firm mattresses. The dirt/rock private drive is tricky to navigate, but we made it!There was a little hiccup with the charges at the beginning of the process, but the management company made it right and honored the original price.

Great spot, old furnish needs redo

Great check in process, friendly staff and answered all questions. Great deck. Nice master bedroom that is in open floor just FYI . However overall out dated furniture- a few pieces were pending repair (couch, drawer set). The coffee pot was damaged and they replaced this immediately. If you plan on cooking it’s with old appliances/dishware and no dish rack.

Nice time, kitchen needs supplies

Only complaint was the kitchen- not enough dishes for the 5 of us. Can opener did not work. Very limited pots and pans, bare minimum really.

The kitchen was well equipped with except for the pans. There needs to be one or two more. The hot tub was wonderful and we really enjoyed the neighborhood dog that came visiting in the mornings.

Main complaint is that kitchen was poorly stocked(no potholders, one small frying pan, chipped coffee mugs). I would also recommend the owners supply a flashlight and some candles as the power went out for a couple of hours and it was pitch dark out there in the woods!

Really great

This is a gorgeous cabin on a beautiful spot. Property managers are very helpful and attentive. The house exceeded expectations in size and comfort. There are 2 things that were not as smooth as they could have been. 1. The hot tub broke on day 1 of 5. This was a bummer because the hot tub was a big part of why we booked this one. 2. The drive up to the place is more challenging than we expected. Tricky even if you have a 4 wheel drive.

Cozy Mountain Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cabin was quiet, clean, homey and beautiful. Lots of space for 5 adults; loved the open floor plan, skylights and windows in the living area. The hot tub was great. We did miss having a dishwasher; the downstairs bedroom could use an overhead light; it was dark and hard to see, especially at night. Also the water pressure in the shower could be stronger. Apart from that we loved the place.
