Family Vacation 2025

We enjoyed every minute of our vacation at this house. Perfect for our family and even a couple of friends. It was super hot the week we were there and we were thankful to have the pool. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, glassware and more. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice house, walk to the beach

The house was clean and conveniently close to the beach. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we especially appreciated having two dishwashers. Beach gear—including a tent, chairs, and toys—was provided, so there was no need to rent anything. We had a great time here and would definitely come back.

Comfortable home close to beach

We enjoyed our stay with a family group of 14. Nice community and the home is a short walk to beach access (maybe 4 minutes). Check-in process was simple and maintenance requests were handled timely.

Perfect for family gatherings

This house was perfect for our family gathering of 14 people of all ages. Great communal space, while still having plenty of bedrooms for privacy. Well equipped kitchen, clean, great pool and outside spaces within short walking distance to beach. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was very nicely decorated and everything worked great in the house. It had all the accessories you need for a great vacation. The location is good and neighborhood is lovely. The pool and hot tub just added to the whole vacation.

Sweet Coral Lane

The property is very nice and clean. Our group enjoyed having a pool and the home sits on a nice private lot. The home was spacious and our group fully appreciated having plenty of bathrooms!

spacious house, great location!

Thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to this part of the OBX. House was very spacious and allowed for all generations of family to have their own space. Nice pool, very secluded. . .even saw some deer passing through one morning. Would definitely recommend!

Nice Place

Very large and accommodating home in Corolla was used for a family vacation. Walking distance to the beach, although most times we dropped off the gear and children by car. Nice private pool in the back provided a great quiet time area for the kids when we weren't at the beach. Would definitely recommend.

Summer Get away

We enjoyed this well stocked home, especially the pool. It was a very hot week and the beach was close enough to walk. There is a great beer garden within walking distance and social distancing fun.

AMAZING house and location. The layout of the house, number of bathrooms, size of living spaces and outdoor spaces as well as parking spots could not have been more perfect. The house itself is gorgeous and great walking proximity to the beach, coffee, yoga, bars and more.The ONLY downside was the property management, we had a few smaller issues with cleanliness when we arrived (hairs on pillow, wet towel left in bathroom, rusted tea kettle among a few others). I had reached out about these via Vrbo but never got a response. It honestly would not put me off staying here again, but as a guest I would have appreciated a response at the time.

Great location, House needs a lot of work

Disappointing Second Stay – Major AC, Cleanliness, and Safety Issues We returned to this house for a second year because we love the area, but unfortunately, the property has been completely neglected. Despite mentioning several major issues in our review last year, absolutely nothing was fixed. Check-In & Cleanliness Failure: We paid an extra $250 for a 1:00 PM early check-in. The house wasn't ready, and we were left waiting for nearly two hours—yet we were still charged the fee. When we finally got inside, the cleanliness was unacceptable. There was food left in the oven, food and a dog bone under the couches, and dog hair everywhere. The floors were filthy, and the carpets desperately need to be replaced. Worse, the air vents were filled with rust and dust, causing our entire family to deal with sneezing and allergy issues for the duration of our vacation. Severe AC Issues:The air conditioning is fundamentally broken. The main floor never cools down and stays at a brutal 80 degrees, making the first-floor master bedroom nearly impossible to sleep in. An AC technician previously came out and explicitly stated that the house is simply too large for the current unit and requires an entire HVAC overhaul. Kitchen & Amenities Disasters: The kitchen is in dire need of an upgrade. The refrigerator is decades old, smells terrible, and is far too small for a house this size. The built-in ice maker barely works, forcing us to pay out of pocket for an external ice delivery service. Additionally, there is a major safety hazard: one of the dishwashers completely pulls away from the cabinet when opened, which is incredibly dangerous for children. Unusable Outdoor Space: The outside area offers nowhere to relax. There are zero chairs on any of the balconies. The pre-built balcony seating was covered in years of caked-on filth, proving that the exterior hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. This house has incredible potential and fits our space needs, but the severe lack of maintenance, safety hazards, and poor management ruined our stay. The pool area did have lounge chairs but no seating in the shady areas at all. We have been going to OBX for 15 years, so this was not our first visit. Sadly, we will not be returning to this home in the future. On a positive note, the house is in a fantastic location, and there is tons to do. We rented a golf cart and bikes, which was great to get to the beach and other fun locations in the area. The general location where the house is has a great atmosphere and beautiful homes that complement your stay.

Family vacation

This house has great potential, but seemed to be in need of quite a bit of exterior repairs and maintenance. With that being said, it is a great location in a good neighborhood with plenty of space for our family. Loved that we could walk to both the beach and local parks, shops, and restaurants. Check in/out process was easy.

Wonderful Home

This house was perfect for our Thanksgiving vacation to OBX. There were 7 people and our two dogs. More than enough room for all of us. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made cooking the Thanksgiving meal so enjoyable. The furniture in the living room looked new and was very comfortable. Just 1/4 mile walk to the beach access. We would stay here again for sure!!

Sweet Coral Lane in Corolla NC

This property is just great. It has a good location. The furniture and flooring are all updated. The appliances are all fairly new and the work perfectly. That is so rare. And it has so many extras like a great pool and hot tub, boogie boards, board games, and great tvs for rainy days.

OH-2 Sweet Coral Lane

Sweet Coral Lane was a great place for our entire family to enjoy. It comfortably fit all 14 of us. The house is very spacious and was very clean. Had all of the needed amenities. The beach is a few minute walk, but we rented a golf cart to help transport all our beach gear. The only negative thing I could say is, the house can use a second full size fridge. With as many people we had, it was difficult to fit it all in one fridge. And the ice maker couldn't keep up with the demand for frozen margaritas. We ended up ordering ice service which helped though.

An Amazing Experience in a beautiful home

We just got back from our wonderful vacation at Oh-2-Sweet Coral Lane. What a magnificent house! So bright and airy, it is the perfect home in a great location! Everything was clean and there were a few extras we didn't expect, like the cupboard full of family board games and a well-stocked kitchen. The hot tub and pool area are lovely. The house is just a very short walk to the beach. I will absolutely stay here again and book through Shoreline OBX who were very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. Such a great experience in a beautiful home.

Family Friendly

The home was clean and accommodating to 3 families. The neighborhood and privacy trees were incredible. The home had all the kitchen supplies needed and more. We all agreed it's time for the decking to be repaired - not just refinished but most planks are splintered and several have nails pulling up. Also in the starter pack- including hand soap for the bathrooms would be incredibly helpful. It was a wonderful week and we plan to book again!
