Clean

Wish there was some grass for the dog, good field to run the dog 10 minute walk away. Neighbors very nice. Could use a comfortable chair!!

Stay at Amaya

Excellent property management representative and handyman( Kim and Randy).Too many issues with home itself for price of rental. Fortunately, issues were addressed immediately by property management team....updates required in bathrooms etc.property menagement trs.

Location, Location, Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was perfect. Minutes from two Village centers and walking distance to family pool. Enjoyed the quiet cul de sac with friendly neighbors who welcomed short term renters.Home was very clean ....except for outdoor grill ...unable to use because of built of grease. Quality of furnishings overall good shape .Home is great if you are bringing your fur baby.... outdoor walled area and safe enjoyable neighborhood for walks.

Out longer than anticipated stay at ‘Casita del sol’

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s been just a wonderfully comfortable a cozy stay here. Such a quiet and slow paced area of the villages too. Well kept and perfect set up for pets to feel at home. Everything is well set up and maintained good. My good boy Blue and I needed a temporary dwelling while we searched for a permanent home that suited our needs well. I thought that would only take around a month. Turned out to be 4! However, The villa here FELT like home and the folks at Down Home Properties, my main contact Crystal especially was helpful, and all have been just super to have as property managers. Been easy and efficient from the start. I am not the usual type client that is generally visiting or vacationing, but I can honestly say that this has been an absolute great and very accommodating stay.

We were so happy to be able to bring our cat and have him stay with us while we made our move from VA to FLThe AC went out one evening and the property manager had a technician out within an hour. The location was great. So close to all the things we needed. My only complaint would be the seating in the living room. A couple of recliners would have made it so much more comfortable. Overall we had a very good stay.

Villa House Rental

Reviewer Comments: We have been renting houses in the villages for some time, and this was the third Villa design. This was our shortest stay, and everything went very well. The home fit our needs and was fairly comfortable.

We also had to rent golf cart, which for the rental amount, should have been included.

Clean and Good Location

Very clean property which is well located to enjoy the Spanish Springs nightly events. The furniture is tired but adequate for my purposes. I very much enjoyed my stay and end up buying a house.

Vacation 2023-vickieb

Vacation rental was very clean. Bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. Furniture in living room definitely needed updated. Not very comfortable but was told by others it was the same in most rentals. Blind in spare bedroom was never fixed after repair man replaced the cracked window even after calling rental company. Our dog didn’t like the stone yard but we knew what to expect in advance so we walked him a lot. Overall I would recommend this property. Close to Spanish Springs and Lake Sumpter which we loved. Great time riding around on golf cart.

Relaxing Getaway

The villa in San Pedro was well maintained and in good condition. Its location was convenient for shopping and dining out. Our villa was close to the 3 Village Squares with Spanish Springs only a mile away. Close to 2 Catholic churches so plenty of options for attending Mass as we are Catholic. Other residents were very friendly as we walked daily around the neighborhood and to the family pool for exercise, We have friends on Bainbridge Drive we visited and also listened to music after dinner several times and saw a movie at the movie theater in Lake Sumter. We ate at a lot of local restaurants. Some of our favorites were The Flying Biscuit for breakfast, City Fire, Cody's , Farmshed-great burgers,, Johnny Rockets -shakes, Prima Italian Steakhouse, Augustines's 1812 and Chicken Salad Chick. Target was nearby and we got some reading material from Barnes and Noble. We saw a great musical show at La Hacienda Recreation Center and also enjoyed looking at military history at the Eisenhower Recreation Center.

Relocation Home Getaway

Because of the excellent service, we even used one of their RE agents (Brandon) to purchase our new home.

Fun at the villages

All the furnishings and kitchen equipment was very good. Daily walks took us to Spanish springs center just a bit over a mile away. Pool and recreation centers even closer. Met the neighbors and everyone was very friendly. Had an issue with th bedroom tv and the manager was quick to install a new unit. Very satisfied with this rental.

Amaya Ave.

We were pleased with the property but wished it had a golf cart. We are however very upset that we weren’t give a partial refund when we had to leave early for health reasons.

Quiet, good location, pet friendly

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good size for 2 adults and close to both Spanish Springs and Lake Sumpter Town Squares. Tile through out property makes for easy cleaning. King size bed is quite hard and twin beds are also hard beds. There is good place to walk pets nearby. Property managers were quick to respond to requests.
