We’re also glad you enjoyed preparing home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen and making use of the two covered charcoal BBQ grills by the front deck with lots of seating, which is perfect for large groups. We’re glad to hear everything was great and that you enjoyed the hot tub, the large living/ dining/ kitchen open concept main entry floor living room and found our communication helpful throughout your stay. We appreciate your note about the community pool area and the pool distance, which the newly redone Timber Ridge pool is only a confirmed 3 min drive, however there are in total 3 pools in the community, it sounds like you went to one a bit further away. The bear activity in the Smokies can definitely be surprising and is in general greatly appreciate it by our guest if they make an appearance. Seeing them from a safe distance, and your story about the open hatchback is a good reminder for all guests to stay bear‑aware, not leave food in the car and keep the car doors locked at all times. We’re happy the cabin’s location, well equipped game room, movie theater and amenities worked well for your large group, and we truly appreciate you choosing our lodge.
